    Bacon cheeseburger and fries
    Frank P.

This is another place I've wanted to try for years. I was really surprised with all the options you have. They have a full breakfast menu, burgers, sandwiches, etc for lunch, and dinner items like fried chicken. I didn't order them this time but they have fried mushrooms. I love mushrooms. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a soda. I like that I got ranch dressing for my fries. Everyone must have been regulars, the lady working seemed to know them all. She was very friendly. I love places like this that serve everything. I plan on making this a regular stop.

I've been here many times before but never had a chance to leave a review. So here it is. This place is always busy when I come here for lunch with my former bosses. The service and food are always good. It's a cute little spot off North Tustin St. kinda across the street from the U.S. Postal Service. I recommend this place if ever you want to eat something good and quick. Come check it out! Thank you!

Great place, located in Tustin a long Tustin avenue. Johnny's burgers is located in an old Taco Bell. This is one of those Taco bells from the '70s that had the cinder block and the arches and the bell and they've revamped it and it's pretty cool. I went with the patty melt this time which was delicious. You can also get onion rings or zucchini sticks instead of fries or do a mixture of them which is excellent. All you can drink sodas from the machine. This place has breakfast all day. A great selection of burgers and sandwiches and then of course Mexican Fare. Place was going off at lunch And everyone was grinding. Good times. Put this in your rotation for a good hamburger cheeseburger breakfast or Mexican food

I was looking for a brunch spot near church and I fell in love with Johnie's Jr Burgers. This is the best diner I've been to with such affordable prices and great value. You order at front and they will bring out the food to you. Just keep your receipt so that they know which order is which. I ordered a steak and eggs for $18 and my boyfriend ordered a omelet ($13). Both came with two sides; hashbrowns and toast (I substituded my hashbrowns for a salad). It was the best food I've ever had! I can't wait to come back.

    Cheese burger combo.

Very clean place condiments fully stocked great burger combo reasonably priced severs bring your food to your table. You know it's good if you see lawinforcement eating there!

Taquitos with perfectly spicy salsa and flavorful guacamole

Amazing old school burgers. Love the charbroil with shredded iceberg lettuce. Johnie's does a lot of things well. Fries, zucchini sticks... but an unsung star is their taquitos. Salsa (nice spice) and guac (great flavor without excessive sour cream) are out of this world. I drive out of my way for this no-frills hole-in-the-wall with the friendliest cashier/server ever!

    Side of fries.

Stopped in for lunch around 11:30 for the first time, the place was already pretty full of seated customers plus quite a few to go orders. Got the combo burger meal. Burger was quite good and good flavor and size. Good size order of fries too. Good flavor, could be a little crispier. Both are large enough to share.

Great throw back charbroil spot. The tacos were amazing, simple but the asada was perfectly cooked. Burgers are huge, really good, could use a little more seasoning but good. Ranch and onion rings amazing.

My tasty burrito that they made right ..thank you johnnies

I ordered a breakfast burrito not sure if i said no pico ...but when i got it it had it inside ...i asked the lady who was taking the order if she remembered if i said no pico ..we both couldn't remember ...they were more than happy to make me a new one i said it was ok i will take it out no problem...i don't want to waste food ...i took out the pico myself and asked if they can just rewrap it with the price of eggs being ridiculous please don't make a new one ...they were so nice about the whole thing and the cook was amazing...where I'm getting with this review is that they were so polite and willing to make it right with no problem...it's really hard to find service that they either make you feel bad or give you attitude...the service was exceptional and the burrito was fantastic 12/10

This location is great. The food is just as good. My go-to is the Cortina's Special sandwich so I can't remember if they do the pizza and pasta here. The service is just as good as the Anaheim location. And as usual, my one complaint is that they do not have Coca-Cola products. My Cortina's Special sandwich would taste so good with a Diet Coke...

The sandwich board was easy to read and I'd seen the menu on line so I had an idea what I wanted. We chose to share a 10 inch sandwich. After ordering we found a table. Our food came in a few minutes. I'd mentioned we'd share the sandwich and they brought it already cut and in separate boats. The Italian sausage and pepper sandwich tasted authentic. I would have liked a bit more sauce as the crusty bread is a good chew. I love Italian sauce and theirs is good, what little I got of it. The tables inside are close and some people like to be heard. Otherwise the ambience is casual and comfortable. I saw they had cannoli so I got a chocolate and traditional. So good! If I stayed in town I'd come and try another sandwich and cannoli

First time here and loved everything about it…read more First of all, General Manager Jessica is suuuper nice and friendly. She greeted us with great energy, making small talks. Told us everything is made in-house, even the sauces! That's really good to know and makes me feel better about the food. She even gave me a free delicious cookie for being a first timer! And she comes around from time to time to check on us to make sure we're enjoying our food. Really nice to receive this kind of attention from a fast-casual restaurant. The Santa Maria BBQ Salad looked good but I asked her if they could substitute the chicken with the Chimichurri steak and she said "sure!" And surprisingly they did not charge extra! I love restaurants that are flexible like this. My salad bowl was SO good and filling. Lots of good stuff in it: chopped salad mix, coleslaw mix, Applewood-smoked bacon, crumbled goat cheese, corn & black bean salsa, grape tomatoes. Served with chipotle ranch dressing and blackberry BBQ sauce on the side, and a fresh baked focaccia bread. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the cold meat. I was under the impression that the meat was going to be hot. My BF got the Southwestern Sandwich. It was delicious. All the Southwestern flavors were there but not overwhelming. The sandwich was hot and juicy. For a restaurant that makes everything from scratch, their prices are very affordable. Both our meals were only $27 total. Friendly service, great food and good prices - what not to love?

Fair warning. I was born and raised in Texas. So.. I am a hard person to impress with bbq…read more A coworker recommended me here so thought I would give it a go We ordered a brisket plate. A rib plate and onion rings. I'll break it down Pork ribs were the highlight for me. They were served with sauce on top.. and I prefer them dry. That being said. They were well cooked. Not amazing. But fine Pork ribs : 7/10 Side dish was a runny Mac and cheese: 4/10 Onion rings are pretty perfect. Thick slices with crunchy panko-ish breading. Onion rings 10/10 Brisket plate with 2 sides: sweet potatoes and beans The brisket over all was salty and a bit dry. We were served two fatty pieces from the middle. And a couple not so fatty ones from the ends. Those were dry. The fattier ones were better. But still really salty. Wasn't a fan Brisket 5/10 Beans: a bean medley?!? Multiple variety of evens. Which I am assuming had some bbq sauce in the broth as they were both vinegary and sweet. Honestly. I hated them We threw the entire side away Beans 0/10 Sweet potatoes : Sweet! Like. Really sweet. With a candied pecan crust. If sweet sweet potato casserole is your jam. .. this might be for you... it wasn't for me Sweet potato: 3/10 The bread and butter pickles were good On a side note. Ketchup is served in little plastic cups.. as opposed to a squeeze bottle. The onion rings don't actually fit in the cups to dip them in ketchup. So.. yeah that's annoying. Bbq sauce is also served in those little cups. Where are the squeeze bottles of sauce lol. At least they don't charge for bbq sauce like heritage does. All in all was nice to get a new place. Did it remind me of bbq back home? No. Would I return? No
