Went to Carl's on Jan 28th,2017. It was by far the worst experience I've had at this particular location and ANY Carl's Jr. ever. We went in to get a couple of meals to-go as I tend to avoid drive thru's and I wanted to use the restroom before the long drive home. When we stepped in the doors we were at the end of the line waiting to order, about 15 people deep. There was only 1 cashier and to make matters worse there was only ONE assembly line working which served both in-store and drive thru. We waited about 14 minutes to reach the counter and when I ordered a meal that should have cost $5.50 she claimed I owed $7.60. I asked how that could be and she said "you're right, let me see.... After tapping a few more buttons she said "that'll be $10.16". Now remember, that's for a combo that should have been $5.50 plus tax. I asked her how X plus Y equals $10 (should be about $6 and she looked at me like I had two heads. Finally the Drive Thru cashier stepped up and fixed it. While I was waiting for the meal I went to fill my soda and saw that the area was filthy, ketchup spray all over the area from the pumper, the grate that your cup is supposed to sit on while you till it was gone so there was only a drain well and it had a bunch of trash mixed with soda in it. The counter surrounding the area was cracked and had pieces broken off and the soda machine itself was dirty. The meal came in about 3 minutes so we jumped in the car to leave. Got out of the lot and opened my bag to find the large fries were only half full and the burger was luke warm to cold like it'd been held too long. I tossed out the meal as I refuse to get food poisoning due to improper temps. The restroom was filthy as well, I guess I should've taken that hint and left before I ordered. I did contact customer service and was told someone would contact me to follow up, it's been two weeks now and have not heard a word. I guess they just don't care anymore. Guess I should have known... the last time I was here we spent 5 minutes in the drive-thru trying to communicate with someone who didn't have a grasp of the English language. If there was an option to give negative stars I would've loved that...lets start by I love Carl's Jr but this is by far the worst, dirties and slowest location. From the moment we walked in there was water bottles in random tables and most of the tables were dirty; but we gave them a chance, maybe there too busy for that. Mind you there's only three other groups rather than us. We waited twenty minutes for our food. We only ordered four burgers. And they even got our orders wrong. How the hell do you not know your own burger!? How hard is it to put a pineapple in a burger!? Oh!!! The high light of all was the employees!!! One employee was outside cleaning and without washing his hand, went straight to the kitchen! The female employee that was preparing the food didn't even change her disposable gloves! It was disposable for a reason! She was cleaning the counters with a dirty rug!! She didn't give two s*** that I was starring the whole time! Disgusting!!! Last but not least the bust boy that's throwing the change that he found from the other party that was eating as well! You can't forget about the bathroom! Absolutely no tissues in site they had a napkin dispenser in the bathroom! Wtf! Seriously! Only reason I'm giving a one star is because it's the lowest rating possible. Walked in the order taker was changing out the trash cans, then started taking an order without even washing hands. He then asked someone to take over so he could go in the back. I tried to get ice for my drink and there wasn't any in the machine but there were dead flies and bugs in the soda trough, disgusting. The dining was extremely filthy, not one clean table. The guy who was changing trash cans came and filled the ice (not sure he ever washed his hands) the food was disgusting and we tried to correct one sandwich and he gave a total attitude. Dirty, no soap in restrooms, rude customer service, no drinks, no napkins, no ketchup, at least that's what I was told until I saw an employee with ketchup on his meal. Save your money, go somewhere else. McDonald's it's down the street. read more

This is probably the worst fast food joint you could go to. There was no one in the restaurant but me and my family, and even then, the food took 20 minutes. A guy came in and yelled at the staff while we were waiting for our food. I think he was an undercover employee from corporate because her berated the shit out of the employees even though he was dressed like a normal dude. Also the only urinal in their bathroom is placed in the worst possible spot since anyone walking in can see your dong while you are peeing. After 20 minutes of waiting, I walked up to the counter and found my order just sitting there. I asked the cashier if he planned on telling me that my food was ready and he just said "oops". I am a frequent customer of Carl's Jr, and I have never had such poor food or service from one. My family stopped here for lunch on a trip from Phoenix to San Diego. The restaurant was very busy and this usually means fresh food for anyone who has worked in or frequents fast food places. First, when we ordered it seemed that the employee was not paying attention because we had to repeat parts of the order a few times, but I understand they can be busy so no big deal. We ordered $37 and change of food: 4 combos, a turkey burger, fries and a milkshake. When they handed the food, it was all in one paper bag, which prompted us to ask if the entire order was there, and she said yes. Upon distributing everyone's food, sure enough we were missing one of the jalapeño burgers. We were still in the parking lot so I went into the restaurant to correct the problem, and when I told them that I was missing the burger from the drive through order it was shoved rudely across the counter without any sort of apology as if they were inconvenienced, not the other way around. It all would have been fine if the food was acceptable but it was nowhere close. All of the fries were barely warm and mushy, two of four burgers were not hot and the turkey burger was cold and overcooked like they cooked it and intended to throw it away or something, and was served on a bun which was flattened and the bottom one was ripped halfway through. I will never return and if not for other good Carl's Jr restaurants I probably would be done with the chain altogether. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is awful!!!!! The bathroom is filthy and service is awful. I was waited on by Crystal/Krystal and she made me feel like she was doing me a favor. I went there because my grandkids wanted Carl's Jr instead of McDonald's. I ordered my food and sat down waiting for our food. Everyone else who came after us and got their food and was leaving after eating. When I asked where our food was another lady who was working there told me it was already sent out. I told her that we didn't get our food. Apparently they gave our food to somebody else. They never apologized for the mix up. $28.00 for 3 people at fast food place seemed expensive so I asked Crystal to explain it to me she rolled her eyes and started to explain really fast and when I asked her to explain again as I didn't understand what she was saying she got upset with me and asked another person to explain. We tried the new turkey and guacamole burger. It was delicious. The service was fast and our clerk, Ann, was very friendly and helpful. The big Mexican guy at the other register was abrupt and not very friendly with our friends. Their food was good too, but their clerk dampened their experience. 1:20pm Angered at my brother for eating my silly als sandwich I decided to go get some fast food. Driving down mainstreet the only thing that sounded good was a western bacon cheeseburger so I decide to come here. As I approached drive thru there were several cars in front of me while some were leaving the drive thru line. I decided to wait it out, how long could they really take? 15 minutes later I finally was at the menu and there was only one car Infront of me waiting to get his food. The man taking my order said he would be with me in a moment. Three minutes later I said "excuse me?" And he had said the same thing, I'll be with you in a moment. More and more cars were behind me waiting to give their order while I still haven't ordered mine. The one car Infront of me still hadn't gotten their food and there were still at least 7 cars who hadn't ordered. 1:55 Me and everyone else behind me left without food. Word of advice from a quartzsite resident , drive the few extra yards to McDonald's I was in and out of there within five minutes, although my food is cold because I'm writing this review. read more
