I had just been told the week before by THEIR DR , "thankfully WE are far enough in technology you won't need a heart transplant ". I'm 41 with kids. My mind was already overwhelmed and they didn't care. I truly believed the dr was aware of my med record and gave me permission to do something else for LITERAL LIFE SAVING MEASURES! I had told her the mental part was overwhelming and I BEGGED for help. For their office staff to treat us this way. Thank god I had someone to run to support me after I was home. I was not in a safe mental state. BECAUSE OF THEM. They weaponized my fear and desperation to get medical help and called the police on me!! Your health means nothing to the office staff. Sadly the drs have to pay for their actions by reporting on their medical license every month until someone takes accountability. But I was having some weird, sudden and unexplainable pain, so I cowgirl'd up and put my feet in the stirrups and crossed my eyes in pain while the Dr. cranked open the speculum til he could see straight to China. He very kindly withdrew the instrument in under a minute - no dilly-dallying here. Of course the manual exam is unpleasant - you never get used to someone you've met five minutes ago reaching inside with one hand and the other hand on your belly. Well, I guess there are some women who are used to 5 minute encounters, but I'm not one of them. Anyhow, the purpose of this is to feel for abnormalities - at least that's what I tell myself. Again, Dr. B very professional and quick. He gave me a preliminary diagnosis with a follow up for ultrasound. Overall he seemed very competent and concerned about comfort. First impression I would recommend.

I found Emerald Coast Podiatry with great reviews and made an appointment. Dr. COSIMO A. RICCIARDI, DPM provided excellent care. After a few appointments, he introduced us to the Swift therapy which worked extremely well and also cleared up other warts (non plantar) my son had on his other foot. While this treatment wasn't covered by our insurance, it actually saved us from repeated visits if we continued on the traditional path we had been on.
