But I assure you, 5 stars is for a clinical visit, because I arrived extra early and they saw me anyhow, and were very professional. He actually sat down and introduced himself and reviewed the problem with me before leaving to let me undress! (I never understand that part - he's about to get up close and personal doing a breast exam and look at my lady parts - why bother leaving just so I can toss that dumb paper sheet over my lap?) No one I know enjoys the prospect of a cold steel speculum wrenching open her most precious parts while a stranger peers in and scrapes cells with what feel like a pitchfork from the cervix. But I was having some weird, sudden and unexplainable pain, so I cowgirl'd up and put my feet in the stirrups and crossed my eyes in pain while the Dr. cranked open the speculum til he could see straight to China. He very kindly withdrew the instrument in under a minute - no dilly-dallying here. Of course the manual exam is unpleasant - you never get used to someone you've met five minutes ago reaching inside with one hand and the other hand on your belly. Well, I guess there are some women who are used to 5 minute encounters, but I'm not one of them. Anyhow, the purpose of this is to feel for abnormalities - at least that's what I tell myself. Again, Dr. B very professional and quick. He gave me a preliminary diagnosis with a follow up for ultrasound. Overall he seemed very competent and concerned about comfort. First impression I would recommend.

This was my 3rd baby, and this was by far the best hospital experience I've had.

I got an email three days before my appointment telling me that the appointment has been canceled. When I called, they said disregard the email and still come in. Supposedly none of my records was there and I had to update everything. I waited an hour to be called back. I requested mammogram to be sent to a place that I've used for the last 10 years. They sent it someplace else so I'm trying to get that rescheduled but was not able to reach anyone yesterday and had to leave a voicemail. Even though they said that they did not have any information in the system. I just received an email to an old email address to get my results. When I called to get that updated, I wasn't able to reach anyone and had to leave another voicemail.
