We had a ball! They loved it, and didn't want to leave. Customer service was outstanding, everything was clean and well maintained. The lifeguards they have on duty were alert and ready to respond to emergency's. We had an amazing time. Now with all the good stuff being said, let's get to some tips and suggestions. Yes this place lets you bring children, because of this I suggest you come as early as possible. The early the better. We got there an hour after opening and we got to experience everything. It starts to get crowded after 1pm. I personally think although they allow children, even that should be an age limit. I saw children there who were too young to understand what a spa is and probably thought it was a day at the pool, I saw more swimming than I would preferred to see. It definitely can take away from your experience. Most of the food prices are reasonable but some were outrageous! If you want any personal spa services you have to book them in advance and me personally they are way too expensive! This place could make some small improvements but I appreciate what they have to offer and how they are different from most spas. It helps me to teach my girls to know that it's okay to relax or wind down. The next day will have its own anxiety's. Thumbs up and a Happy Yelping!

It was impossible to relax in any of the pools available because there were children jumping and screaming and climbing and splashing water all over everyone. The only lifeguard on duty during the afternoon was on his phone giggling THE WHOLE TIME, even when kids were diving in a pool literally 2 feet deep. What I also did not expect was having to wait 40 minutes in line for a drink. There was only one person doing the drink, and then another one coming back and forth from what I found out to be the kitchen upstairs. Counting the people INSIDE the kitchen, cooking, there were a total of 5 people doing food and drinks during a fully booked day at lunch time. Also wasn't prepared to spend $26 + gratuity + tax for a drink (they automatically charge gratuity and then ask if you want to leave a tip lol) ON THE BRIGHT SIDE the place was clean and well kept, even the bathrooms were perfectly clean. Yes, a few hair here and there, but it was expected. The saunas were good and they had a good variety. I don't know if I'll come back during a weekend or festivity, $110pp seems a lot to not being able to relax.

It's a body scrub where you are completely unclothed and a woman with two minutes rubs your body and dead skin flies off. At the end, you were rubbed down in oil. I was worried that this wouldn't be relaxing, or it would even hurt. Let me first say that they put you in a sauna for as long as you can stand, and then a wet sauna. Next you go into the room face up, and the scrubbing starts. Well, it is not as relaxing as a massage, by any means There is much satisfaction in the results. I left with glowy soft skin feeling wonderful! The spa offers an option where you can purchase a membership and the services are cheaper. I will definitely become a frequent flyer! I can't recommend this place enough!

The massage: i heard the machine from the wash area going off for 40 mins of my 60 min massage. The masseuse was pressing down on my spine it did not feel good at all. At this location there is also a…read moredrawing station, a physical therapist, and possibly a family physician but we have never used any of those services at this location. This location is in a shopping plaza so tons of parking! Upon entering the front entrance we were greeted almost immediately by a nurse at the front desk. She asked if we were there for the sleep studies and pointed to a small waiting room off the main waiting room and told me to wait there and a girl would be out soon to help me. The entire waiting room area was bright and clean with lively music playing. There were 2 or 3 end tables with tissues and fake flowers which I thought was nice. At the far end of the waiting room was a special little room especially for my children. In this room was a book rack, Lego table, trucks, and puzzles. I was able to stand in the sleep study waiting area and watch them through the glass of the children's room. I appreciate whenever a doctor's office takes their younger patients into consideration, for a 3 and 7 year old, waiting is sooo hard. A young nurse popped into the waiting room, asked for my papers, and went to enter my daughter into the system. She popped back out once with a quick question about my insurance and was a pleasure to deal with. At that time I went into the children's area, helped my girls clean up, and let them each select a book to read while we finished waiting. The girls had time to read through their books (probably 4-5 minutes) and we were called in to see the doctor. Dr. O'brian (sp?) has a very gentle personality and he quickly put my 7 year old daughter to ease. I appreciated that he talked to her and asked her the questions, instead of addressing me. I did get my chance to weigh in on the answers if I felt she hadn't accurately answered one but it was her appointment and her answers were valued. Everything was fully explained to my daughter and by the end of the appointment she was actually smiling and looking forward to having a sleep study done if our insurance gives it the OK. I'm giving 5 stars for this appointment. This doctor is fantastic with children and it was a great blessing. I will update my review if and when she has the sleep study.

It’s tough with the uncertainty of injuries and not knowing truly how the recovery process will go. The team at Amity had a strong plan and we worked weekly, to get my strength and mobility back to pre-surgery status. The character and fellowship of the people in the clinic is second to none, and it actually made me a little upset knowing I was done with PT and going back home. I’m extremely grateful for my time at Amity and I would recommend it to anyone interested.

Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with lumbar spinal stenosis by my primary care physician. The…read morerecurring symptoms of pain in my lumbar region and numbness and tingling in my left leg made extended standing and walking difficult for me at times. As a result, my doctor prescribed 12 weeks of physical therapy for me. After being dissatisfied with the therapy services I was receiving from my initial physical therapy provider, I decided to check out other physical therapists in my area. A family friend said she had heard good things about the Amity Physical Therapy Office that had recently opened in Wallingford, and recommended that I check them out. That was all I needed to hear. The next day I booked my first physical therapy appointment with them. While the Wallingford facility itself is bright and squeaky clean with a very contemporary vibe, the thing that really impressed me was the staff. They were much more friendly and welcoming than the first place I had gone to. Warren and DJ set the tone with a very professional and personable approach to their patients. It was clear to me that the truly care about delivering quality physical therapy services to their patients. After working with Warren and DJ and their staff for twelve weeks, the strengthening and stretching program they designed for me accomplished all the objectives I was hoping for. My lumbar pain is gone and the numbness and tingling in my left leg has greatly subsided. As a result, my walking and standing stamina has increased. Even my wife notices that I am moving better now than before I began going to Amity Physical Therapy. My thanks go out to Warren and DJ and the entire team at Amity Physical Therapy of Wallingford for all their efforts on my behalf. Based on my experience with them, I would highly recommend Amity Physical Therapy of Wallingford for anyone in need of physical therapy services.
