    Me and my new Prius!

Brandon and everyone else made buying my new Prius and selling my old Prius totally painless and easy! Almost close to being fun. :-) I got way more money for my old car than I even hoped for and my new one cost less than I was expecting. No pressure at all on the sale and Brandon was very knowledgable. And when he didn't know an answer he didn't try to bluff but went to find out the info I needed.

Jerome and Brandon are amazing!! I had an appointment today at 11 and was walking out by 1:15. That included appraisal, test drive, and paperwork! Love the quick service and how helpful they are!

Other places I called were offering $6 per 100 pounds or $40 pick up fee, or $75-150 for the car without weighing, and some even wanted you to empty the fluids and check the engine, etc. The whole process from phone call to paperwork to pick up of the car to weighing car to check in hand was around one hour on a weekday around lunch time. They give you a receipt for your taxes when filing and also the check. To get the car weight, they weigh the tow truck with the car then drop the car in the lot then re-weigh just the tow truck. You can see the weight at the register and on the electric billboard at the weight station. You need to bring the car title and a photo identification card. The employees were friendly and efficient. I called around all the junk yards that I found on Google in Columbus Ga to see which one would give me the best price. This place offers $6.50 per 100 pounds with free pick up. It also offers $7.50 per 100 pounds if you drop off the vehicle. However, if your junky vehicle runs, you should sell it by looking up its value on kbb.com (Kelly Blue Book) and write the price on the car and drive it around for a buyer to see instead of accepting the few $100s you will get at a scrap yard. I took it in to be activated and to have a missing bolt and clip installed. Was told the vehicle came from the manufacturer with the wrong software the service tech then took it upon himself to delete it and installed new software without my knowledge or permission. The vehicle then started to have glitches (that I have on video and was witnessed by 2 employees) and I was told that videos don't prove anything by VW. Since they fixed the error now and installed the correct software the items I had when I purchased that are missing now don't matter and I have to just go without them. I also have witnessed them driving the vehicle after they said they were done with it to go eat lunch and sit near 5 guys for over an hour. Using a customers vehicle for personal use is not acceptable. Below are just a couple of the pictures I have. Also have a recording of the employee telling me it has the wrong software

This is a 2011 Jetta, and I could have gotten a used car for that. Doing some research, I found out the OEM replacement part was around $1500, and they wanted to charge $3500 for labor. I believe they were trying to incentivize me to get a new car because they were offering to buy my car off of me despite the monstrous price of the repair. I'll never do business with them again. I ended up selling my car third party and then found out I could have gotten a non-OEM part for much cheaper and went to another dealer to do the programming. I think what makes me angry is because I believed them when they told me how much it would cost to make the repair, and I sold my car before I realized otherwise.

Two weeks later I went to replace the cabin and engine air filters and noticed that the coolant was an inch below minimum. I checked the "routine service inspection" sheet and it was marked as "good". There was literally probably 5 ounces in the reservoir. This is, in fact, not good. Now I question if the entire inspection and service was a sham. To put the icing on the cake, they even tried to give me a cash offer on our vehicle by phone as I pulled out of the dealership. I'll most likely go elsewhere for service.

I purchased a 2019 Mercedes CLS53 AMG, when I saw the vehicle I asked if i could get a PPI (pre purchase inspection ) they denied it & assured me the vehicle has been through a rigorous 135 point inspection & sold it to me with a 90 day limited warranty. Since purchasing on August 27th almost 2 months ago the vehicle has been in the shop for over a month, from a coolant leak from a failed heater pipe to a turbo line leaking oil to now the oil leaking from deep within engine block from the high pressure fuel pump. (*update from when I first wrote this in my notes: Cam position sensor also leaking oil) The vehicle has over 35 hours & counting of in-shop service repairs. At the time of this review I still do not have my vehicle. Along with the vehicle being in absolute terrible mechanical shape, I paid cash for this car Aug 27th 2024 & now on Oct. 22nd still have not received the title (*update Received on 10/29/24)I reached out to my salesperson Josh multiple times to which he said he would check for me & now stopped responding to me all together. I called last Tuesday (10/15) spoke with Kevin the used car manager who said he would both check on status of my title & see if he can speak with his higher ups on if they can help me in anyway for the over $8,000 in repairs my car has succumbed to, which again is absolutely abysmal on a 2019 with only 54k miles. Kevin did not call me back on 10/15 as he said he would to update me on status of my title nor did he reach back out by that Friday 10/18 where he said he would have word from some of the higher ups on what they can do to alleviate this horrible situation. I instead called Kevin myself 10/21 hoping he would have an answer for both things but he just transferred me to someone's voicemail. I ended up speaking with someone eventually on status of my title & though it's absolutely ridiculous to have to wait 2 months for a title, Im happy someone gave me some sort of update. Now, autonation is a huge company & I was happy with their professionalism during the purchase process, however true colors always shine after the fact & that is exactly what is happening here. Usually it is the smaller lower end dealerships you have these problems with but unfortunately I and a ton of other people from these reviews have also dealt with super rough vehicles that Im not entirely sure how they get mechanically approved. I have all receipts from the repairs, little over 9 weeks of ownership & I have had the car for a total of maybe 2 weeks. Over $8,000 in repairs, was given 90 day warranty from auto-nation which of course does not cover all repairs, I have personally paid over $3,000 of the repairs from my pocket, along with towing costs when the vehicle broke down. Im sure there will be a generic comment asking me to call a GM. I did not want to write this review but their actions here have left me no choice at all.

After disappointing experiences at the 4 largest auto dealers in Columbus I remembered the radio commercials from Budget and decided to see what they had on the lot. I was pre-approved coming in and my family decided on a 2011 GMC Yukon XL Denali. Jimmy the salesman I worked with and Tron, the manager, exceeded my expectations in customer service. They met me where I needed to be on price; a "Great Price" based on both KBB and TrueCar. They also offered me $1800 more for my trade than any of the Big 4! Now this is why I think you should really go to Budget. My purchase is in great shape, but has high mileage. After purchasing on Thursday I had an engine warning light come on Saturday. I called Jimmy and he said to bring it in Monday and they would take care of it. I don't think they had any legal obligation to do so, but they stood by their vehicle. I brought it in today and their mechanic ran the computer for faults. It needed a new oil pressure sensor, so they sent me to Transmission Experts up the road. While fixing the oil pressure sensor the mechanic noticed an issue with the power steering pump which without me knowing Budget told them to repair and charge to them as well. I didn't find out about the pump until I got my keys back. For the record I had the vehicle checked by an independent mechanic before purchase. I'm sure Budget made money from my purchase. If they didn't they couldn't stay in business, but I'm positive I got fairer deal than I was offered from any of the big 4. If you want a good experience I recommend you start at Budget Auto Sales.
