Lavender iced latte please and thanks!

Been looking for the lavender flavored coffee beverage pretty much everywhere. I found it here @ Barista's Kitchen, a subtle little cafe with a great tasting menu with much to choose from. Loving the options! Great place to relax and dine. Renee Awad.

I'm always on the lookout for new spot to grab a meal so when I saw Barista's Kitchen come up on my feed I knew I needed to pop in to try them out. Located in the Yorba Linda Town Center, BK has a great corner spot in the Center's plaza area. The entrance is just instant their outdoor/patio seating area. There's plenty of seating both outside and inside and the tables are nicely arranged without crowding. The inside was pretty streamlined and modern, yet still felt cozy and inviting. Right as I walked in I was hit with the delicious aroma of whatever was cooking. Definitely already off to a good start! Orders are placed at the counter and brought to your table when your food is ready. Both the girl and guy workers we interacted with were friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of coffees and teas, which is their primary beverage focus. There are so many yummy options on their menu! Today I went with the prosciutto panini and a side of portobello fries. The panini came with a side salad that has a nice lemon vinaigrette. The panini was SO good! The bread was crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and all the fillings worked together beautifully. The prosciutto was yummy and I think next time I want to order this panini with extra meat. I was really looking forward to the portobello fries, but I was a little disappointed by them. While the mushrooms were nicely sliced and the portion was generous, I was expecting them to be crunchy, which they were not. I wonder if I could request that? The green dipping sauce it came with was nice, but I think ranch would be a better match for it. The visit was hours ago and now I'm hungry for another prosciutto panini...what's a girl to do??

Cute clean place with some indoor seats and more outdoor patio seating. Friendly staff, gave me good recommendations. I like how they have treats and water bowls for your furry friends. Yummy place for brunch especially after a hike. You can order at the kiosk or at the counter. You get a number and then they bring out your food. My Kimchi Bulgogi Panini was so delicious!! It was so yummy I wished I could have eaten the whole thing. It was very flavorful and the bread was perfectly toasted. The kimchi was actually sweet rather than spicy which made it a good surprise. It came with a generous side salad. It was very fresh with perfect amount of dressing. I was excited to eat my leftover panini later that day. Highly recommend!

This is a super cute place to go with your pups. They have outdoor seating and the staff are super friendly with the puppers. They even have treats for them! I got the lychee matcha, which was surprisingly delicious! My husband got the Spanish latte which was also tasty. We both share the chicken and waffles with a side of eggs. It was so good and I would order it again.

This is such a perfect place for brunch!!!! Plenty of parking. At the corner of a bigger outdoor mall with lots of shops around. You pay at the counter then take a number to sit at either indoor or outdoor seating area. The omelette is so so good. The mushroom toast also I would highly recommend. Service is super nice. They are quick to respond and take feedback well. I like this spot a lot! Great for bigger groups and yap sessions too :) coffee and matcha here as well! Dog friendly!!! They have water and snacks out for your pets :)

Fun place to grab a meal before or after the movies and even to grab a coffee. I like the diverse menu and tried the kimchi fried rice with two scrambled eggs on top which tasted pretty good my friend ordered a chicken pesto Panini, which looked delicious with a small side salad. The food is a solid, 4 1/2 stars, especially for the diverse options. Service was prompt and very friendly ambience was clean and inviting and relaxing.

Went to barista's kitchen for breakfast with my girlfriend and her meetup group. Plenty of seats. You order at the kiosk and take a number which you add to the order. Pay at the kiosk and grab a seat. The staff brings you your food and drinks when it's ready. I had a breakfast burrito and my girlfriend ordered the fried pork belly plate. She had a coffee drink and since I don't drink coffee I ordered a coke. Food came out quickly and everything was hot and fresh when it arrived at the table. Pro tip, if you write a review and show it to them you get a free coffee. My girlfriend did this and took an iced mocha to go after we finished eating. Good value, prices are reasonable and service was good, we're returning next week

Friendly service, good quality food and love that they have some healthy options! Our food came out quickly and although there was a mistake with our order they handled it well and fixed it without a problem.

I visited once when it was Olive Seed Cafe and had an overall subpar experience but when I saw that Barista's Kitchen took over, I bookmarked it ASAP and have been looking forward to a visit soon. The menu itself seemed really similar but I was excited to try something from their expanded drink menu. Here's what we ordered: **California Omelette: Overall, it was good and quite hefty in size too. (5/5) **Huevos Rancheros: The serving portion looks small but it was more filling that I had thought. I ordered my eggs over easy which was perfectly executed. I ordered my ribeye medium rare which was also perfect. It could've used a nice kick of spice but the overall flavor was good and the addition of chips were lovely. (4/5) **Espresso Tonic: The espresso was good and the tonic was good. A little sweeter than I'm used to in general but overall, a great drink. I would come back to drink it again. (4/5) Overall, it was a good dining experience and I would come back if I'm in the area next time. There is a kiosk available to order but you can also order at the register if you want to pay cash. Once you order, they give you a number so they know where to bring the food when it's ready. The inside seating area is quite spacious with tables in front, along the side, and behind the kitchen area.

This place is a redo of a previous place I had enjoyed. This new concept is outstanding! The house coffee is exceptional and the food follows! It is a bit pricy but you do get the quality and taste you are paying for. The ambiance is nice, good music, great people working here! A definite return soon!!!

Ambience / Location / Decor: Let's just start by saying this location is phenomenal. Lots of parking available for customers. It's within a great plaza with a market, Peet's Coffee, and plenty other restaurant to walk around after eating here. The brick wall decor and paintings bring a vibrant vibe that is welcoming. Very clean restaurant. I definitely appreciate the cleanliness. Food: I ordered the kimchi fried rice with steak and over easy egg. Kimchi fried rice: it has a hint of spice which was great. The amount of kimchi was pretty good.. very small pieces but you get plenty on each bite. The amount of steak also in small bites and also decent in the amount per spoonful. It's flavorful but I think it was more on the sweeter side .. I would've maybe wanted to taste a little less sweet and more of the Gochujang maybe ??!! Also wished my egg was actually over easy and not over cooked.. would w been nice to have the yolk runny since it's kimchi fried rice. Also maybe could be a great touch to have the kimchi fried rice in a cast iron skillet as well some that may give a little crunch to some of the rice and texture wouldn't be too soft all around. Overall, it was pretty good. Huevos Ranchero: My husband ordered this. He said flavor was good .. had a little kick to it (spicy level mild and a half), could use more tortillas, steak was a little bit more over than the medium that was asked, red onions were pickled and delicious, avocado was a good blend, and great ratio from sauce to meat. It was also nice that it came on a cast iron skillet so came out nice and hot! Service: Staff at register / counter is great. Very friendly staff and helpful assisting my husband's needs for gluten free options. Table service is a plus and a great touch. We are just visiting from NorCal to Disneyland but decided to try this place out and was worth it .. especially for the inviting and welcoming staff, good food and options, and brightness of the ambience! We will be back and hope all the locals give them a review as well and continue to support this small business!! They're worth the visit!

    Matcha time

I didn't realize that this used to be olive seed, but loved the new ownership and menu. We ordered a terimisu matcha and a strawberry matcha. From quick tasting the terimisu option was a favorite. We also ordered the avocado toast with smoked salmon and that was delicious. This was a walk up and order service. You can order at the register, or a station. Once you order you get a number for your table and the food is brought out. The cashier was nice and helped us with selections. There's a small indoor seating area and an outdoor option. Overall it was a an easy and good experience. I'd definitely go back to try other options on their espresso menu. And if you're looking for a cute and easy brunch spot this is it.

You order at a kiosk, take a number, and go sit at a table (indoors or out) where your food will be delivered. We initially attempted to order at the counter but were ignored so we did the kiosk routine. I went with a prosciutto panini and a hot vanilla latte. The latte was average but good. The same could be said of the panini which, aside from the prosciutto, included arugula, garlic aioli, tomato, and mozzarella (it usually comes with roasted bell pepper but I asked to leave that ingredient off). The sandwich came with a pedestrian house salad; some greens with four grape tomatoes and a balsamic dressing. There is a huge free parking structure across the street which makes coming here easy. It's kind of like a skillet, except you have full control of how much of each items goes into it. Normally I don't like a ton of gravy in this ritual, but something about the gravy and sausage at Paul's Country Kitchen made this Grand Finale especially delicious. I mean--the Char's Country Plate was good in itself. I've had something similar at the nearby Mr. D's with its two sausage patties on a biscuit covered in gravy along with eggs and hash browns. I think the version at Paul's was a bit better. Every bite was a delight. But I think the best bites were reserved when I got that bit a sausage and gravy into the mix with the hash browns and perfectly cooked eggs. Grand Finales are usually a joy, but this one was especially joyous. Also, noticeable was the great service here. I found the servers personable and discerning. They managed to give out good recommendations, answer any questions about the offerings, and still hold good conversation. That's rare at any food joint you go to. Not only that, they held down the fort when it came to refills, getting my order out quickly, and dropping the bill off when it came time. The personal touch here is impeccable. Lastly, the ambience is great here. The space is kind of limited, but they had plenty of booths and tables, 2-tops and 4-tops, and counter space. Everything was decorated brightly without seeming gaudy, and it gave off a welcoming feeling that is traditional with all local diners. I wouldn't mind eating in a place like this regularly. In conclusion, I think I found a new place to have breakfast. Not only that, I think I found a new place to recommend to others when I want to point out what makes a good diner/coffee shop.

I sent the Benedict back but Asked to keep the rest of the food because I was hungry. The girl ignored my Request, Took my entire plate and did not return with the other food on it. I literally waited 10 minutes for them to redo the eggs while my partner finished his breakfast and I had nothing to eat. The Hollandaise sauce was Very Good, but ham on the Benedict was incredibly thin. I've had many eggs Benedict and this was unusual to offer A slice of ham comparable to a thin deli slice. My partner's omelette Was quite Brown but had good veggies in it. His hashbrowns were barely cooked. Today We both ordered a veggie omelette with chicken in my partner's. I made it very clear that my veggie omelette should not be Brown (= overcooked) . The girl read Back our order and she wrote My request very clearly. What arrived at our table was quite a shock! My omelette was definitely Brown and my partner's omelette was dark Brown. My brown omelette had chicken (his order) and his omelette was actually my order and dark brown! I've never seen an omelette served that was that overcooked! How could they possibly ignore the instructions and mixed them up? Add to this that his toast was burnt. Really? You can't prepare Toast properly? When I brought it to their attention one of the girls she said I could see how you might think that as I showed her the burnt toast. She said we have already put everything away in the kitchen and so I don't know that we can do anything about it. We said it would be fine if it's an English muffin but, something that's not burnt. She disappeared into the kitchen for quite a while. Eventually when she resurfaced she brought the unevenly toasted bread, (But not burnt) and proceeded to tell us the following: " If you would get here earlier (We arrived 40 min before closing) we could serve you better" ( I later realized Those must be words from the owner). So if I arrive earlier my food wont be overcooked?Or if I arrive earlier they Have time to correct their mistakes? I knew the kitchen closes at 1:40. Waiting at the counter To ask about soup, I stood for 5 + minutes watching 5 employees move about. Finally I was able to ask and waited another minute or so while she went to go to the Back to ask. Now in line to order the man before me was trying to order (before 1:40) a vegan omelette. The girl said it was too late. He explained he had driven all the way from Riverside and it was still within the timeframe to order. She went back into the kitchen and a woman came out. (the owner? ) . The woman proceeded to chastise the young man for coming in late and trying to order a vegan omelette. She told him he'd done this before and he should get here earlier. He explained that he had not actually ordered but had tried. She said several times that she would make an exception this time but it can't happen again. And she continued to chastise him. Who treats their customers like this? .I literally watched the minutes tick by, wondering if I'd make it before the cutoff. More people entered. . Ah oh, do they know about the cutoff in 1 minute?? The girl behind the counter announced that no more orders would be taken after 1:45. Aw, they were being generous by allowing five more minutes to order. But there's no way these people could get their order in within the next five minutes. Will they say, too late, After they've been waiting in Line? Why not say instead, our kitchen is closing but we will be happy to take your orders. And why not hang a sign on the door that says the kitchen is closed at 1:40 But still accommodate diners's needs? The omelette tasted good but the experience was so negative, Such unkindness, Completely lacking in hospitality.
