Bodhi Leaf is still one of my top favorite coffee spots of all time! I love their iced WHITE CHOCOLATE lattes, their seasonal beverages, their iced MATCHA lattes, and their espresso beans are flavorful - I buy their beans and use them at home! I appreciate that they offer MULTIPLE SIZES here: from 12oz, 16oz, 20oz, 24oz, & 32oz!!!! I love their REWARDS PROGRAM - it's nice to get a free drink every now and then. Their prices have unfortunately gotten a bit higher over the years BUT I will still come here. There's always a good amount of indoor seating and a few outdoor seating options. Friends and I were in desperate need of some caffeine, so we rushed here a 1/2 hour before their closing. The gal said they were out of coffee. "Out of coffee at a coffee shop?" They only had espresso based drinks. OK, it's caffeine. We ordered a large latte, thinking it should have at least 2 shots of espresso. What we got was a milky drink that barely has any coffee flavor. Maybe they were running out of espresso too? This place has the best chill ambience, it's so quiet even though music is lightly playing in the background. If you need to work or study definitely the place to come too. Staff is super friendly , clean bathrooms and sitting area. The coffee blends are better than 90% of major chain restaurants and their pricing is perfect for perfect coffee. Bodhi Leaf is a cute cozy cafe with a good variety of tables and seats for people to study or lounge around. The service was great due to asking some questions about the menu and/or any suggestions. The ambiance was average due to making drinks, music and conversation. The chai latte was a great drink and I personally loved the way it tasted! I definitely recommend drinking the chai latte if you like chai! The açaí was refreshing and filling. I would recommend this to anyone who LOVES a good tea or coffee and a great spot to study or do work outside of home! Tip: There's a unisex restroom in the cafe and they also have small samples that the community can try. There's ample parking and there's also outlets around for people to charge their devices! The coffee is so good and perfectly sweetened and well balanced. I came after a hike a couple times and their breakfast sandwich always hits the spot. It feels like an elevated McDonald's breakfast in the best way! The green salsa it comes with it sooo good, I could drink it on its own! Been on the hunt for OC coffee shops I can do work at, and we have another workable spot unlocked! The vibe inside is very much giving rustic and cabin-y which is super unique. They also have an extensive drink and food menu which is perfect for people that want to grab both coffee and some breakfast! There's plenty of seating, and wifi is great. There was a mix of both people just chatting and people that were working. Not too busy, too, so noise level was low. I ordered their seasonal drink, the Maple Cinnamon Cubano Capp! It was a bit less sweet than I'd prefer (I have a sweet tooth lol) but they also have a station with sauces and sugar packets, so I was able to modify it to perfection. My partner got another seasonal drink, the Pumpkin Cold Foam Cold Brew, which was really good! We also ordered an avocado toast to share - can't go wrong w this classic. What a treat, stopping by Bodhi Coffee, on a Friday late afternoon for matcha latte. I didn't have any expectation but so glad that I've stopped by. The employees are amazing and super friendly-- maybe it's Friday as the ambience was very chilled. The store front is at an angle hiding behind a huge tree that provides shade to outdoor patio seating area. The interior is very clean and spacious. I found from the "seasonal drink" menu (see picture and sorry for the reflections). I ordered the cocoa sea salt cream matcha latte and it hit the spot -- creamy, nutty-grassy tea taste and followed with a hint of sweetness. Surprisingly, this cafe have A-LOT of savory breakfast snacks, including ham and cheese quiches. I'll come back again to support this good establishment. read more

I felt that the workers weren't very friendly the first few times I went there. But I read the reviews and noticed that others feel the same way. But I've felt more welcome the last few times I've been there. The smiling workers is a plus. It makes you feel welcome. One of the blondes was very cute and friendly, as well as a few other workers. It's not the best espresso to me but they do make good lattes. Bodhi is a monument to coffee. The bean is riding a horse, sword hand, having conquered ordinary coffee. Wait, it's a seed not a bean?! Maybe so, but still, it once hugged the equator but now it's in Yorba Linda, thankfully with a barista and not on a horse. I have been an online customer of Bodhi for years. I buy 5 lbs whole bean, light or med roast (preserves the inherent flavor of the se...er, bean), typically Columbian or Guatemalan . I've frequented other Bodhi locations and it's always been a great time with friendly staff and great drinks. However, this location disappointed me in all aspects. First of all, when I entered, nobody greeted me. Second of all, the girl at the front seemed annoyed when I placed my order. I was in a great mood and left a close to $3 tip for my two drinks and all she said was "Have a good one." Also, what it the point of giving my name when all the staff is going to do is call out the drink order one by one. I got myself a nitro cold brew but it was so sour that I took two sips and threw it away. I got my mom a hot americano and she also said it was sour. If you're seeking friendly service, this location isn't the one for you. It also seems like quality control was very poor at this location. read more

Had been wanting to come here for a while and finally made it in, place is big and has good amount of seating, you can totally grab breakfast or lunch here. Service was great, both behind the register and barrista knew what they were talking about when speaking of coffee and menu items which is always great and helpful for us curious coffee connoisseurs! Chai was good and aromatic' but isn't like their specialty since it's not made in house - but at least it wasn't powder ! The muffin tasted home made and they were kind enough to warm it up for me but' it did have a tad of an eggy taste. Finally visited our local Bodhi coffee shop w my Mimas. 1st timer here, i enjoyed the drinks, food & company indeed at this cute shop. What we ordered ~ Avocado Toast, highly recommended. Really good w the prosciutto on top. ~ Quiche was surprisingly yummy. My friend ordered it and gave us each a piece. I'm not a fan of quiche usually. But this one was good. ~ Honeybee Cold Brew. I am currently really into Lavender items. This drink had a subtle taste of Lavender. Not overly overwhelm w the taste of honey to balance it out. Highly recommended. Service was really friendly & good fast pace receiving our items. Lots of tables available. We were able to get a table for 3 and enjoy about 2 hours there chit chatting. Downer side is While dining, someone brought their big white dog in. The dog was beautiful indeed but this is a place handling food and especially not sure if it was a service dog, didn't have that vest on to indicate it was. The coffee was good, not amazing but, better than your average chain. The cafe however, so cute, inviting, ideal for some catch up with a friend or for a spot to get some work done. The staff is your typical young group, during my visit my friend and I grabbed a seat right by the register and I was humored by the conversation between the two employees working as they had a call out and didn't have anyone to cover the closing shift, which ultimately resulted in them closing early for the day. I ordered their green tea latte, iced. It was not overly sweet which I enjoyed. My friend got an iced fruit tea in their largest size (which I believe was a 32oz) and she thoroughly enjoyed it and also noted that she appreciated the tea not being too sweet. We enjoyed conversation for a couple of hours and will be back soon to try their other coffees and teas! Cute! Parking here is TIGHT and can be a little difficult to find close by. I'd say it's small/medium sized but there's lots of space to read a book or work on your computer or catch up with friends. Coffee is always great at any Bodhi Leaf and food is decent. I got a breakfast sandwich out of convenience and it was alright. They play light music in the background (think Starbucks playlist), and the noise level never got too loud, except for the occasional laughter of guests and milk steamer. Although I did not interact much with my cashier, I overheard another staff member patiently explain the selection of teas available! Drink wise, I did not enjoy their espresso tonic. I typically enjoy espresso with fruity notes in a tonic, rather than one with chocolate-y notes that they served. A latte probably would've been a better choice. First time visiting this location with my Mimas. I've only picked up from the Placentia location a couple years ago. First time truly enjoying the full Bodhi experience. It's located in the same plaza where Blue Agave is just next to the Stater Bros and McDonalds on YL Blvd. Parking can get full on a busy day but we were fine in the morning midweek. Inside is cute... quaint little coffee shop that feels home grown. Employees are friendly and very helpful when asked a million different questions about their unique seasonal drinks. Drinks came out super quick and so do the food we ordered. - HoneyBee: served cold and wasn't too sweet - Samoa Mocha: ordered it warm with oat milk. I was worried it was going to be too sweet so I was going to order it "less sweet" but decided to try it as is. It was actually pretty enjoyable as is not too sweet at all. - Quiche with bacon: very good. The texture was nice and fluffy not mushy like some quiche. Flavor was very good, the bacon was not overpowering. - Loaded Toast: avocado toast with greens and prosciutto, highly recommended. We stayed for quite some time chitchatting and nobody rushed us out or bothered us for being there so long. Overall experience was very enjoyable. The only negative, which may be a dealbreaker for some is that they allowed this large (beautiful) long hair dog in. I thought it was illegal since they serve food. Some people may be allergic or even afraid of dogs. Just ruins the experience for some and I think the employees should have enforced the law. read more

I would have been switching off between 'Bodhi Leaf Coffee Traders,' and 'Peets,' rather than just sticking to 'Peets' Coffee,' all the time. Well, 'Peets Coffee,' you got yourself competition now. I got two orders of Hazelnut Lattes to go, medium size, 2% milk. I'll be back for seconds! I was pleasantly surprised Bodhi Leaf decided to open a branch here in Yorba Linda, North OC. Today on Friday, Dec/30/22, but I'm sure that's already old News. Since I drove South OC for Bodhi Leaf before, I was already signed up to their rewards' system. I had made the mistake of placing a pickup order at the wrong location, and i didn't realize until i got to the store. i was planning on bringing some drinks to some friends. when i had realized the mistake I had made, the baristas were quick to help me and offered to make the drinks at this location on the spot, something they totally didn't have to do. they were very efficient and kind. 100/10 customer service literally they saved my day. read more
