They not only serve pizza but they have delicious other options as well! The buffalo wings were surprisingly really good, a decent sized wing and good sauce! Bonus was the extra ranch! They know what the people want. The little gem salad was very good too! Thick chunks of bacon and blue cheese dressing. A great pairing!

Short rib dinner with mashed potatoes

Every time we visit Carmella's (and it's often) we're happy campers. We have purchased items at the market but more often than not we actually get pizza or pasta or the sandwiches, but not tonight. Tonight we embarked on the focaccia with marinara and ricotta followed by their short rib. Just wow. The bread was so fresh with chunks of roasted garlic, the marinara is homemade, and top it off with ricotta. Be still my heart. Then we enjoyed the short rib with very buttery mashed potatoes and some great au jus. I'm glad we branched out tonight. Thanks for a great meal Dustin and Joe!

I had delicious pizza from here. However this is the 2nd time I went in the morning when online it said they opened at 7am, and even at 7:45, they had the doors fully locked with people inside. Please change your hours or put signs on your doors with times you are actually open. I tried opening a few times and just met with stares.

I love the pizza here. I travel regularly to NyC and would stack it up against anything there. There is also a market at the restaurant with some high quality and uniquely curated items.

    Money ball pizza

As much as I love their moneyball pizza, the last time we ordered, they really messed up the timing. My husband placed the order at 3:45 pm for pickup at 5:00pm and we he got there, after waiting for 10 minutes they realized they hadn't started his order and somehow had the time for pickup wrong. It took another 20 ish minutes to make the pizza at that point, all with a hungry toddler fussing. My husband did call in the order instead of ordering online. They gave us a complimentary dessert for waiting which was a nice gesture (the miso caramel banana pudding) but we weren't fans unfortunately. The banana pudding itself was great but the miso gave it a very bitter taste. I also have yet to have the pizza as crunchy as the first time we got it, even after asking for it extra cooked (we've had it 3 times since). It's been a solid 8/10 everytime but the first time we had it was a 10/10 and I'm sad I can't experience that again.

    Meatball appetizer

Had an event on this side of town, so my friend and I decided to beat traffic and check this place out before. There's a high-end specialty food market with a well-curated offering high quality items and a nice selection of beer and wine. On the other side there's an eatery with app, pizza, and sandwiches. I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of lambic and enjoyed a new to me grape varietal Tilquin. We also have the meatball appetizer and the margarita pizza, both were quite delicious! I really liked the addition of giardinera in the red sauce that came with the meatballs, it added a nice kick of Chicago flair. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza! One of the better ones I've had in Denver. Both were very flavorful with quality fresh ingredients. I would recommend this spot for a casual lunch or dinner! They also had a selection of tasty-looking desserts. Service was great too.

It's a small space - a few tables, not all of which have access to an outlet. The table I snagged was off balance and wobbly and pretty dirty. The bathroom did not have soap - it wasn't super busy so not sure the excuse. They had some pastries but none looked appetizing except for the baklava - the only true pro of my visit. Quite tasty though despite saying I was dining in, my drink and treat came in to-go containers (boo). An extra bummer because I saw mugs. I ordered a seasonal ginger bread latte. Fairly decent price point but flavor was lackluster. Staff was friendly enough but they seemed to spend most of their time out of sight in the backroom. Will not be coming back.

Not that I am…read moresuper familiar with all the businesses located in this shopping center (The Shops at Northfield to name it exactly), I certainly missed this quaint coffee shop when I was here for the moving watching etc. I had done. Or is this place brand new where it started to exist after I had been here most recently? It was a little before 8:40am. As most shops don't open until 10am or so, nobody was around on the 46th Street; the coffee shop was thus empty. I got the guy's undue attention upon entering. Cute wall decors, some tables with chairs for people to sit down, nice open bar with a display of sweets and savory are what I noticed. The drink menu (which I didn't take a picture of) is not massive but has got a good selection, all ordinary stuff. I went with my usual: doppio. I also got me one of the baklavas which I saw where all the baked goods are. The tray full of baklavas was on top of the showcase with a lid on it. Looked nicely brown and flaky. Would be a nice mid-morning snack to eat along with my doppio. The guy was efficient. After I placed my order, it was a matter of a minute or two before he handed me the two items. I was the only customer (like I said) but he was super fast. The charge was about $10 for both items. Upon glancing at the electronic receipt, I realized that the baklavas are $7. A bit pricey I thought but they are a good size. Not bad... At home, I enjoyed both of them after my breakfast. I added some almond milk and half and half in my doppio which tasted nice and bitter (for this reason, people think that I drink like the Italians; they do like strong espresso.) The baklava was so filling. The flaky layers stack on top of each other were perfected. The sweetness was just right. For this size/portion, I guess $7 makes sense; the money worth spent for.

Service: Excellent, staff helped answer questions and give recommendations, food was ready fast. Food: 10/10 We got the chorizo breakfast burrito, a mushroom empanada, and a steak empanada. Everything was absolutely delicious, if I had to pick a favorite it would be the mushroom empanada but you really can't got wrong. The chimichurri and the creamy jalapeño sauces were both great too. We also snagged a Key Lime Fizzy Moo carbonated milk that blew our minds. Neither of us like milk or carbonated drinks and yet, this was delicious and we couldn't stop sipping it. Definitely try one! Value: We paid $21 including tip, would say value on par for quality and amount of food. Would 100% recommend Cafecito for good vibes and delicious food.
