    Espresso martini! It's really good

My girlfriend really wanted to see Sinatra on Saturdays. Its $50 per person and then a 2 drink minimum. So already a $200 night. NOW, even though we got there very early our view was obstrusted. The layout is really bad. IF you hate smoke smell this is NOT the place for you. All our nice clothes now have to be dry cleaned. The best part when they played the New York song at the end but you're not allowed to go up and film. It was VERY distracting sitting in the back to really enjoy the show. Bottom Line: not worth the reservation. Do a walk in if you really want to but even then you may not be able to see with the obstruction and people in front of you.

It's up and down from visit to visit. My most recent experience was good. Service was quick and attentive.

So we came to NYC for a cruise and to visit our niece, my wife and my niece decide to go to a broadway show and I don't like them so I decided to come here, this place is very classy, the drinks are phenomenal and the cigar selection was outstanding. This is definitely a vibe, the service here was very attentive to all the customers even though it was PACKED! I met some really cool people and had some great conversations with strangers. I loved this place and would DEFINITELY come back here again.

Old style elegance is not dead in NYC while this place exists. A haven for cigar smokers who need a relaxing atmosphere to unwind, grab a cocktail and some food. The servers are attentive and friendly and the drinks are top notch and not overly expensive. High back leather chairs, comfy sofas and love seats bring a certain sense of accomplishment to the venue. A mix of blue collar and power brokers are in attendance "but" it's quite loud and noisy so holding a conversation is difficult but that would be my only downside to this if you seek a quiet atmosphere.

We had been eyeing Carnegie Club for a while and finally got to go for New Years Eve. We booked in advance to ensure we got a table. The club is beautiful decorated and feels like you are transported in time. They have a coat check when you walk in, super helpful on messy rainy days (like NYE). For NYE there was a $60 cover charge and a band playing rat pack hits all evening. We were so lucky to be seated upstairs on a plush couch with a direct view of the band. The couch was super comfortable. The couch had two small tables in front of it to place our drinks, food, cigars, etc. Carnegie Club has a few small plates to get if you are hungry, a cocktail menu, extensive liquor menu and an extensive cigar menu. We had the truffle popcorn and cheese plate to eat. The cheese plate is huge and comes with full, large pieces of cheese plus grapes and fig spread with crackers. I had a gin & tonic plus the raspberry fizz drink. Both were refreshing. My husband had two of their old fashioneds. He said they were strong! My husband smoked both of their house cigars at $20 each. I did not smoke. He liked the Maduro house cigar more so than the Connecticut house cigar. Despite the cigar smoke all over, I don't feel like the club was suffocating with it. You still felt like you could breathe. The smell wasn't bad either. I did come up with my clothes smelling of it slightly, but that's to be expected. Initially I was nervous I wouldn't last the whole night with the cigar smoke. I did just fine and I have a sensitive nose. The stand out of the evening was the service. The service was impeccable. Our server was always around and extremely attentive. Every one was working so hard to make sure we were all having a great time. Part of the NYE festivities included a champagne toast at midnight, noise makers, hats and a plate of small dessert cookies. They put the countdown on the TVs and the whole place did the countdown together. It was really a fun, special evening. We will remember this NYE for years to come, and are thinking of making this a yearly tradition now on NYE, since we did have so much fun. I feel extremely lucky we had good seats, some of the other seats in the place don't seem to have as good visibility to the band. The earlier you get there, the better chance you have at a good seat. Carnegie Club was the epitome of class, elegance and great service on NYE. Everything was perfect from the food, to the drinks, to the cigars, to the whole vibe. I'd like to come back for a Sinatra Saturday (a Sinatra tribute band plays every Saturday) very soon!

If you love Frank Sinatra, this is your spot. Sinatra Saturdays has been captivating NYC crowds for over two decades with the timeless swing of Steven Maglio and The Stan Rubin 11‑Piece Orchestra. Shows run every Saturday at 8PM ("Remembering the Sands") and 10:30PM ("Sinatra Songs"), recreating the Rat Pack energy of the 1960s lounge scene, seriously like stepping into vintage Vegas The venue delivers old‑school, elegant jazz club vibes, think plush furnishings, book‑lined walls, and a classic atmosphere that channels a Don Draper-era night out There is a 2 drink minimum per show, but they have many cocktails to choose from. They also have some light bites on their menu too, including Truffled Popcorn, Charcuterie, Flat breads, and more! What We Tried * Elderflower Martini : floral, crisp, refreshing perfect for pre-show sipping * Toasting Marshmallow Whiskey Cocktail: warm, smoky sweetness with a fun, theatrical edge * Cheese board: artisanal cheeses like brie, blue, aged cheddar, and a goat cheese, served with jam, fruit, and crackers Entertainment & Booking Info * Shows at 5PM, 8PM & 10:30PM. The 8PM set is the iconic Sands‑era tribute. * Tickets: $45 (general) / $65 (premium) with a two‑drink minimum * Reservations available 60 days in advance via OpenTable--definitely recommended. Waitlist/standing room available, but tables fill fast Pro tip: book your seats early (Up to 60 days in advance on OpenTable) and plan to arrive about 45 minutes before showtime. Treat it as the perfect date night or stylish night out. Have you been here!?

The service a 10 out of 10 very much enjoyed this lounge. I will have to come back again when I'm in New York. I also got an old-fashion and may I say it was Hella good?

    Macallan Flight ( $80), HOUSE MADURO ($20)
    Elena N.

Date: Monday, May 6th, 2024 Time: around 10:30pm Party of: 4 What: Cigars and Scotch *Macallan Flight ( $80) *HOUSE MADURO ($20) *HOUSE CONNECTICUT ($20) x2 *Sazerac ($20) *Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban ($20) *Glenfiddich 14 Year ($20) *MACANUDO PETIT CORONA ($28) After dinner, the final four wanted to check out one more stop. One of the boys was planning on coming to Carnegie earlier in the trip, but never made it. Since we all like smoking cigars and drinking scotch, we decided to check it out. It was moderately busy when we arrived, but we didn't have to wait long to be seated. I decided to be extra and do the Macallan tasting. It came with the 12 Year, 15 Year, 18 Year or Rare Cask. (I think I got the 18 vs rare cask.) It was nice for sipping. Cigar wise, I don't know that much, so normally defer to the hubby. I wanted to try a house one, so he said do the robusto as I like more full bodied cigars. This worked well with my scotch. On Mondays, they close at 12 midnight so we didn't have much time here. No one really finished their cigars, but we were expecting that given the time crunch. Some people lingered around past midnight, but we felt bad, so try to maximize the time. Note about the bill. Definitely make sure to check yours. When I paid, it was on one of those portable cc machines, so I just hit the tip button and signed for it. I do like getting an itemized receipt, so we asked for one. Good thing cuz they charged us for the huge group next to us whose bill was like double ours. They quickly rectified and refunded the transaction. I did feel bad for the establishment since that group paid cash and quickly left. Now I know why. They probably got our bill. Great stop for drinks and cigars. Would definitely check out again on my next NYC trip. REVIEW #3415

This is Cigar Club and Bar, where you can bring your own cigars or purchase them from club, and also drinks. When my son is in town for business this is one club he would come after work to wind down with a nice cigar and drink, was invite to spend time with him at club, nice vibe and good drinks.

Had an amazing time at the club's Sinatra Saturday. Such a great ambiance and vibe. The room was buzzing and people were all having a great time. I have to shout out the host Hailey. Amazing conversationalist and a true girl's girl. She had amazing energy! As well as my server Andrea. I definitely recommend the greek sliders and getting to your reservation early.

    Meat platter. Very very good

WOW. This was an experience I will never ever forget. I came here for Sinatra Saturday and it was beyond amazing. I booked this night in advance and was placed on a waitlist, they were able to book me. When I arrived I was greeted and asked if I wanted to check in my coat which I declined but I appreciated. I was sat at a small table at the stairs which to me left very private and nice. The performance was amazing. I cannot say anything more. It was more than I expected and had an amazing time. The staff was very courteous, attentive and my waitress was AWESOME. I wish I would have asked her name to include her in this review. I ordered a Nicaraguan cigar which is their house cigar it's called Robusto Maduro. I don't smoke cigars often but it was very tasty. I was impressed because I have been to cigar lounges but nothing like this. It was cut and lit for me at my table. The food was excellent. I ordered a plate with different meats. Lamb chops, sausage and more. SO SO SO GOOD seasoned very well. Couldn't not be happier with my experience I almost stayed for the second show and I regret that I didn't.

a great place to bring your dad. old school atmosphere with live music. i would recommend getting a reservation. friendly and helpful staff

Went on a Tuesday night with a friend. Made prior reservations but the instructions weren't very clear on the website. They talked about the reservation being $30 and it spoke of having to spend at least $15 on tabacco. I was asked to put in my credit card information, but I was never charged. I was never requested to make a minimum purchase for alcohol or tobacco. So I'm not exactly sure what that is for or if there's a specific day for it., the place is absolutely amazing. It's old school. Dimmed lighting and smoking. But I loved the feeling and vibes it gives off. Ordered the dip and pita platter for about $23, your choice of two dips, and it was a very generous portion. Also got the sandwich and it was so good also in the $24 range. They have a wide range of drinks available I went with a bubbly raspberry drink and it was great. I thought they had live music everyday but unfortunately it was not the case. I wish their website was easier to understand. Hope to be back for a frank Sinatra night.

Can you bring your own cigars?

Yes you can bring in your own cigars, you will be charged a $10.00 fee. If you purchase a cigar from a local retailer, and bring in receipt, you will not be charged a fee

I would like to go to listen to the guy singing Sinatra but I guess as it is a cigar room it will be "foggy". Is that so? Do they smoke indoors?

Oh yes, it is a true cigar bar, lots of smoke so if you go you will leave smelling like a cigar. I love the place, great service, very comfortable seating and great selection of drinks. The food is really good too. As a cigar lover it is truly… Read more

Since all the boxes seemed to be checked, we made our way over. When we arrived, we were kinda bummed to find out that the rooftop was closed for a private event - but there were open seats in the bar area so we decided to stay. The interior wasn't as big as I expected, with the dining room hitting you as soon as you enter with the bar in a separate room in the back. The bar area was small - outside of the stools there were a few tables but since it wasn't crowded we were able to grab a seat. Decor is inoffensive - typical bar vibes with low lighting and a color scheme that leaned darker. The aesthetic leaned upscale. The menu had a good selection of cocktails, wine, and beer - along with a section of snacks. We had two rounds of drinks - I opted for their cocktails which were quite good. We couldn't leave without snacks and got several for the table - chips and guac, fried calamari, pigs in a blanket, and truffle fries; they also served complimentary mixed nuts. The snacks were good - the fries and pigs were my favorite; the latter looked like they were prepared as full-sized dogs and then sliced into bite-sized pieces. Service was great - we were taken care of promptly and never forgotten despite the bar space filling up after we arrived. Everyone was also super friendly, loved to see it. Overall, we had a good time at Aretsky's Patroon - the vibes were on and I wouldn't hesitate to return either for a drink or full dinner.
