I have been a patient of Dr. Jack Schwartz for the last few years and am writing this review because of the great experience I had, and for anyone that might be anxious about going to the dentist. The people at this office are very professional friendly and pleasant. They put you at ease right away, and make sure that you're comfortable and confident about the procedure that may be necessary. Dr Schwartz is very understanding and knowledgeable about all aspects of his field and is able to calm even the most nervous of patients "me". This was the most painless dentistry I ever experienced. I had many procedures in this office over the last few years from crowns to fillings to posts, and none of the procedures have been painful. The crowns look excellent and can be customized very easily thanks to the dental lab right in the office, which is very rare. Because the laboratory, the wait time for the restorations is greatly reduced. All of the restorations are functioning without any problems. The longevity of the restorations produced here is maximized due to his knowledge of materials his in-house lab and his quality control. I've been coming to Dr Schwartz for over 20 years and have yet to have a bad experience. Before coming to him I was very much a "white knuckle" patient who loathed going to the dentist (and endured two years of braces), but all that changed when I started seeing Dr Schwartz. He is patient and explains exactly what he's going to do to you (and will show you as things progress). The best part is that there's no pain!! Diane, his Hygenist is equally amazing (I actually look forward to my cleanings!) and Veronica runs the front office like a well-oiled machine. (What other office calls you to let you know that they're running late - this doesn't happen often with the office, but I so appreciate the call in the rare occasions the Doctor is running behind for whatever reason.). Dr. Jack Schwartz and Carnegie Dental deserve 10 stars at least. Dr. Schwartz is a great dentist who performs all treatments with a gentle touch. He takes great effort to minimize pain and discomfort. Dr. Schwartz can make even the most terrified patient feel at ease. He explains technical information in an easy to understand manner so that a patient can relax during treatment; and he takes the time to layout for you, the best treatment options. The Dental Hygienist, Diane, makes getting my teeth cleaned fun. She is committed to her patients health. Veronica is on top of everything. She and Susan run the office like clock work. Dr. Schwartz and his staff are top notch. From the minute I checked in for my cleaning, I was made to feel comfortable and at ease. There was no wait time for my scheduled appointment and I had a seamless experience with my dental hygienist and Dr. Schwartz. He took the time to go over my X-Rays in detail. I was so impressed by the service that I opted to schedule a tooth whitening procedure shortly thereafter. On the day of my procedure, again like clockwork, I was professionally greeted and ushered into the cleaning room. Dr. Jack Schwartz is easily the best dentist I have ever seen. I have had many problems with my teeth and been from dentist to dentist, which has been a very frustrating experience especially with a root canal. Dr. Schwartz on my first visit to him immediately detected the problem that many previous dentists did not find or notice. Dr Schwartz fixed my root canal on my first visit with him, and it was my pleasure he did it in a way where nothing was irritating or painful and I was enjoying myself watching his nice television setup while he was working on me and after he was a very nice guy who I have developed a friendship with now and continue to see him and strongly recommend him. read more

I could not believe how awesome this dentist was. I have had horrific experiences at the dentist from a very young age. I mean literally traumatic. So, Im in NYC this past weekend and fall down a flight of stairs entering the subway. I ended cracking one of the bottom teeth in the front. I went to Dr. Schwartz for a second opinion after my post cracked, boy, do I wish I went to him first! He was pleasant and straight forward and walked me through the whole process! Good work doesn't come cheap but cheap work is not always good! I learned that the hard way! However, I am content with my resolve!
