I went in to get 2 pounds of carnitas (1 just meat and 1 mix with cueritos, etc.) for the house . My parents have been coming here for a while and I decided to try them out. It's $11.99/lb for the carnitas. I also got a small bag of chicharrones ($7.99) and a small 8oz of guacamole ($4.49). The total came out to $39.65 with tax. I didn't know you have to ask them for cilantro and cebolla, they don't automatically give that to you, so I gotta remember for next time. Luckily we had some at home and enjoyed some carnitas tacos at home. Everything was delicious ! Definitely coming back for more. Carnitas burrito was bomb. The beans at carnitas had good flavor and didn't taste oily. Topped it off with some green salsa. Delicious!

My dad has been coming here for MANY YEARS! He's made it a habit to stop and eat here whenever he's in the area. I was in the area and decided to stop by, I didn't like them. Maybe it was an off day. Maybe. But they were VERY bland. No salt. Nothing. And why are all the tortillas stuck in two's? I can't and refuse to make a taco out of these big tortillas, if they were smaller, maybe. One of the salsas had an off putting taste so I just left it alone. Rice and beans were okay. Maybe I will give them a try again some other time. I like the carnitas more crispy with flavor. Oh and I also got cuerito, it was also very bland and undercooked. Not the type to make you ill undercook, but just needed more cooking. One of my favorite spots for carnitas. The tacos are huge, good portions. Love how the carnitas is all meat, none of the unwanted fat. They have a red salsa that is spicy goes great with the tacos - just hate the fact that they give you a hard time to give you one because that salsa is only for tortas, makes no sense, salsa is salsa. Very bad experience. The service was terrible from the beginning. The staff was rude and unprofessional. On top of that, there were two men inside the restaurant who kept staring at me in a very intimidating way, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe, as if the situation could turn physical. I've visited this place a few times, and their carnitas are among the best in the area. However, I was quite disappointed with the service during my recent visit. I had told my wife about this spot, and after checking Yelp, we saw that it was supposed to close at 9 PM. We arrived at 8:10 PM, only to find the restrooms closed for cleaning. Additionally, half of the restaurant's chairs were also unavailable due to cleaning, forcing us to sit at the tall tables by the cashier. To make matters worse, they were using strong cleaning chemicals throughout the restaurant while we were trying to enjoy our meal. The odors were overwhelming, and we had to ask for to-go boxes because of it. At one point, one of the staff even started cleaning the windows with a potent cleaner right next to us. I just can't understand why a restaurant would begin cleaning at 8 PM when they close at 9 PM. Why not wait until after closing to start that process? I didn't enjoy my meal because I was hoping to have a warm plate at the restaurant, but instead, I ended up taking a cold plate home. It was quite disappointing read more

Carnitas in Ontario! The food here is great! I have had many carnitas and they are definitely up there in the carnitas game. I originally came for the torta ahogada and it was fairly good, I would most likely not get it again since the salsa makes it or breaks it and I did not like the salsa but the tacos de carnita were up there! The sign outside advertises "CARNITAS"--that's like Starbucks running out of coffee beans. The food is amazing. The Carnitas are super authentic. I've actually been going here since they first open and my friends actually told me that he used to sell out his house down the street. I recommend a lot of people over there. I always tell them to go over there nobody ever gets disappointed. These are literally one of the best car those around in my opinion probably the best in the Empire. The service is excellent. They're on point and they're fast the ambience is great. We've been here a few times. The Carnitas are really good. We stopped by for lunch a couple of days ago. Ordered a family special. It was plenty of course we had leftovers. The Horchata is perfectly made, and a Mexican Coke quench the thirst . We also ordered a bag of chicharones to go, and these were great as well .The structure is roomy with tables and booths to sit down and enjoy your meal, there is a big screen TV to watch sports or what have you.The service is courteous and friendly and you receive your meal in no time. The food was decent but even after mentioning it was our first time, we felt rushed. The meat was chopped and even then, didn't cut through properly. Just moved to the area a couple years ago and still haven't found a better place for Carnitas. Every time I stop by I make sure to buy a couple containers of their Red salsa, it's delicious!!!! I recently tried the menudo and it i also very tasty! I don't remember then having freshly made tortillas but it's okay. The menudo was delicious! I'm picky with menudo I think some places don't wash the tripe well and that makes the menudo taste bad. This menudo was clean, and made with the right amount of chili and spices.
