This place is close to work and I have never tried it in my 7 years here. I decided to go with Sopa de Res for lunch and picked up a family meal for dinner with the family. First off, the sopa - to die for! Broth full and rich of flavor with NO greasy residue, the veggies fresh and still a bite to it, and the meat was tender and just perfect. The homemade tortillas just rounded everything off happily. This is our new go to spot for sopa de res!! My co-worker ordered the same thing - 100% SATISFIED! On to dinner with the fam...it did not disappoint!!! My family asked where I got the delicious carnitas. That's always a good sign. My son asked for tacos for lunch the next day. Even a better sign when the kiddo asks for another meal in the middle of the current meal. Thank you Carnitas Don Cuco for a great lunch and dinner! Tortas - Carne Asada and Milanesa de pollo. Alright I'll be honest- I'm not a Mexican Food expert. I'm extremely picky about it because in my experience, I only really like home made Mexican food. But this place is the maker of one of my favorite sandwiches I've ever eaten. Let's talk logistics. It located in this small shopping plaza across the street from a middle school. It's a quaint location with seating for maybe less than 15 people indoors. Its a real mom and pop feel to it. So casual setting. Parking is free in the parking lot in front if the plaza. Plenty of parking spots. Pricing is affordable for the tortas - and they are huge. I can only eat half in one sitting. I can eat the other half for dinner and lunch the next day. Each Torta comes with some lime and radishes alongside the red and green salsa. It's just delicious all around. Tortas are lathered in meat, lettuce, avocado and I think beans ... but it is just so good - it's fulfilling. It's so worth coming out here! read more
