This place is a gem in the middle of Pacoima. We loved the service, and the food was delicious. We got an order of the carnitas family pack, and it was enough for 3 grown adults, along with the condiments, beans, rice and tortillas. We got a menudo plate for my picky husband, and he thought it was very good and tasty. They even made a way to make a vegetarian nopales and roasted chile scramble for my daughter. 10/10. Abraham absolutely hooked it up. I called around 11am on a Monday to place a a large order for a 7pm pick up for later that night. We got 55 burritos, 10 quesadillas, and 40 tacos plus chips and guac to feed a crew of roughly 100 people. A big ask but Abraham delivered. Over the phone, he walked me through the serving sizes, broke down the ingredients, shared different options for serving the items, offered modifications, and ultimately helped curate the perfect order for our needs. For the vegan options, he served us nopales burritos and separately cooked the pinto beans and rice to avoid any use of lard or other meat-based ingredients. He put all the cilantro and onions on the side and gave us plenty of individual servings of salsa. Our team ate everything. No crumbs. Simple, filling, and delicious with something for everyone. I placed an online order and showed up to pick it up, only to find the restaurant closed. i called the next day and spoke to a gentleman who was very helpful he told me to stop by whenever I could to get a refund with the receipt. unfortunately, I don't live nearby, so I wasn't able to go right away. Two days later, i called again asking if i was able to order instead of getting a refund, they said it was fine and when i went to pick up the order the lady at the counter was extremely rude. Instead of understanding the situation, she told me not to "call three days later," even though I had already called the very next day after my order. the customer service was terrible, and her attitude completely ruined the experience. It's disappointing because the first person I spoke to was kind and professional, but the follow up interaction was the total opposite. I won't be ordering from here again. read more

The carnitas was moist and flavorful, the rice and beans were fresh and tasty. The caldo de pollo was on point. Very flavorful and they weren't stingy with the meat or veggies. Been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally decided to order some food for lunch pickup. I'm feeling sick at the moment and was craving pozole, but saw they had Caldo de Res (which I don't usually see at most Mexican restaurants) and decided to order that instead. Was glad I did because it was delicious! The soup was flavorful, vegetables very fresh, and included 2 huge and tender pieces of beef. It really satisfied my soup craving! I also ordered a side of their refried beans and it was the tastiest refried beans I've ever tried. So flavorful and savory -- I wish I got a larger size. We found this place on the way home from work and it did not disappoint at all. It was taco Tuesday so it was pretty busy but all definitely worth the wait. We got tacos de carnitas mixed with cueritos on hand made tortillas , costillas with salsa roja , and menudo. The menudo was super hot and so good it definitely satisfied the craving, it was probably my favorite thing , but everything was honestly worth ordering again. Besides the great food the customer service is the best I've ever seen at any small business. So happy I found this spot and so close to home. read more
