Holy smokes! This little breakfast shop is just the cutest little place I've seen. Everything is so vibrant and fun and everything is pink! the breakfast is stellar by itself but if you don't mind a little day drinking they have some of the tastiest drinks we've had at a restaurant open before 3. The customer service was great (we had Jess and Jared) the two times we were able to visit. My only regret is I never got to try the lunch menu, that looks just as good don't miss out on this spot if you visit st croix!! read more

Average. Giving at least 3 stars because maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. We both ordered crepes. We have a couple crepe shops at home in NC & there is no comparison. We expected the crepes to have the fruit inside. Not just on top. (Definitely not worth $12) My banana flambé on side tasted like what I remember banana baby food tasting like. I ordered an iced mocha. It came in a coffee cup made as a regular mocha with frothed/steamed milk and just had ice added. It tasted like an iced espresso. Very bitter. Even my husband who drinks black coffee thought it was bitter. I double checked with server to ensure it was indeed mocha as it was bitter and tasted like iced espresso and her response "yes, it has some chocolate in it. Would you like me to bring some simple syrup?" Simple syrup helped but definitely didn't make it worth $7. She never checked to see how it was after she gave me that. As someone who loves coffee, I might have drank 1/2 of it.. ($2 dollars extra for "mocha/chocolate"). Also had one figi water and 1 drip coffee. Total Bill $41. Definitely wasn't worth the money we paid. If we do again, we will definitely try something else. read more

My food experience at Caroline's was an unpleasant one. The restaurant is open through brunch and my dining partner and I got there about an hour before closing. We were warmly greeted and seated right away. Our waiter was attentive and we ordered pretty quickly-a Greek salad, chicken and waffles, in-house ginger beer, and some alcoholic beverage with egg whites. The ginger beer was too sweet for my palate. There was an issue with my partner's drink so she was given a free ginger beer while we waited. When it arrived, the drink she ordered wasn't very good-just bland. The biggest problem-the food. My waffle had clearly been sitting for a while. I had hoped for something fluffy and light. I got a hard, crusty waffle and chicken tenders. Her Greek salad had no dressing on it. When she asked for dressing, she was given buttermilk dressing. We did have the opportunity to say something but I'm just not that type of person. I also understand that the islands don't have access to the same resources that we do on the mainland. But a waffle takes 2-3 minutes to make. The lack of quality and attention to detail means I won't go back and I recommend you look elsewhere to eat when in Christiansted. read more

I am hoping that my experience was a fluke. We checked in. We waited 30ish minutes for a table. We got the text saying our table was ready. We were seated and asked if we wanted to purchase water...we said yes. The hostess said she would be right back with some waters........and then nothing. We sat there for about 20 minutes with our menus closed and no waters watching two servers repeatedly walk right by us and ignore us. I asked one of the waiters if he was the waiter for outside and he told me they don't have sections and walked away. I went back inside to ask the hostess if maybe we accidentally got forgotten. And yes. We never got put in the system I guess. All good. Mistakes happen. I went back outside and a few minutes later a server came out and told us she would be our temporary waitress. We ordered. 45 minutes later everyone who had been seated after us had long since been served, finished eating, and left. We found someone again and asked if maybe our order had not gotten put in. They told us that they were going to put it in right now. 20-30 minutes later we got our food. The whole process of getting our food was ridiculous. That being said...the food was fantastic. Absolutely delicious. Just wish it wouldn't have taken 2 hours to have breakfast here. No one adjusted the bill or apologized or anything. Not that I need or want free food...I just would have appreciated any sort of acknowledgment. read more

Absolutely lovely spot, right on the tip of Christiansted, so close to the water you could almost taste the salt, right on the harbor. We had breakfast there two days in a row, enjoying generous omelets, yummy hash browns, and great people watching. This was a quintessential USVI place! Loved it! read more

This is the CUTEST brunch place I have ever been to. The coffee was incredible and so was the service! We went on the forth of July so there was a pancake special that was just so delightful. Nice setting: relatively nice service, however was very disappointed with the omelet and orange juice. First, the orange juice came in a small glass with LOTS of crushed ice. Hence, in no time, it was watered down. As for the omelet, it was specifically requested to cook the toppings inside the eggs and cook the omelet hard and on both sides. Well, that didn't happen. the toppings were placed on top of the egg. The server indicated she had requested the omelet the way I did. Someone who appeared to be in management, stated she understood how I wanted the eggs because that is the way she likes her omelets. However, she offered me scramble eggs instead. I again asked for an omelet to be cooked as I requested. In the second omelet, it appeared that an attempt was made to mix the toppings in the omelet. However, it was not cooked on one side and had absolutely no taste. Not a place I will revisit. read more

This was our first time coming to Caroline's, and we left extremely disappointed. Even getting a waiter to serve us was like pulling teeth. The waitress look at us several times and walked away. After 15 minutes, my friend went inside to ask if we could be waited on and the waitress accused us of just sitting down without the direction of their staff... despite us clearly have menus in our hands. She finally came over to us to us and when the food came, the order was COMPLETELY wrong. We didn't even bother to say anything because the staff were so disrespectful, moody and overall killed the entire ambiance (which appears to be super cute!) there was even a fight outside between the manager and the customer and seeing how that handled was the cherry on top of disappointment. My group of 6 came just after 9am on a Saturday. Yes, it was busy. We put in for first available (inside or out) and we're told 20 minutes...50 minutes later, we were seated. We even offered to split up our group for quicker seating as we had other tours to get to during the day but we're told twice when we asked this that our table was "being prepared". We watched several groups of 2-4 eat and leave while we were there. Finally seated and ordered but another HOUR we waited for our food. We asked for our checks when the food came so we didn't have to wait for that. Food was good, just good, not exceptional, but we all had to shovel it in so we could get going. Our waitress never came back to collect our checks, so we just left cash so we could leave. My advice, get there early and don't go with more than 4 ppl. read more

This is my second time here, the food is good the ambience is great. However, between my first time here two weeks ago and today, the portion sizes have been reduced drastically. I do not have enough great things to say about this new addition to the island. Pink banquettes, white marble and floral wall papers justaposed to an adjacent room with exposed brick, warm woods and a moody jungle themed wall decal create a unique visual experience unlike any other in St. Croix. The menu includes all things brunch from classic crepes and Benedict's to speciality scrambles, fish and chips and craft cocktails. One of the only places I've found to be open 7 days a week and serviced by an amazing group of waiters and staff. Definitely a must visit! read more

Ok Served 5 tiny pieces of overdone dry fish and 2 orange segments, 1 grape 2 chunks of pineapple and 3 pieces tiny of Mellon. It would fit on a soup spoon. Charged $18. Plus $2. ( for the fruit) all after waiting an hour. Several at table liked their brunch but left hungry. Bloody Mary also a disappointment. read more
