    Beignets
    Sandra Q.

We wanted to try somewhere new, so we browsed Yelp and decided on this café. Street parking was limited, but there's a decent parking behind the restaurant, which was convenient. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a very pink, cozy interior -- cute and inviting. The café does get busy, so expect some hustle and bustle. Menu-wise, the selection felt limited compared to what we're used to. We started with the beignets, but unfortunately they were too dense and tough for our liking. The chocolate sauce didn't add much flavor either. For our mains, I ordered the Hopewell Farm grass-fed burger with pimento cheese, and my husband had the buttermilk pancakes. The burger was delicious -- the pimento cheese really elevated it. The horseradish is made in-house which was creamy and delicious...coming from someone who does not like horseradish. The pancakes were huge, fluffy, and very filling. Overall, the food was good and flavorful. Service was fine -- friendly but nothing remarkable. It's a cute spot to try once, especially if you like a photo-worthy atmosphere, but it probably wouldn't be our regular go-to.

What a super cute place ! Great for non vegans ! Definitely wished it was more diverse with vegan options ...in their menu! The service was friendly and quick! The food was amazing and they do have a variety of options for alcoholic drinks as well as non alcoholic beverages. Super cute spot will be coming back when in Georgia!

This is a fabulous little place on Main Street. The decor is a little cutesy - definitely will be a favorite with women - but the food is delicious and done well. Service was also good. We came during off hours as we traveled the area. I recommend you try this place. Let me know what you think.

This was our first time here and the food at Caroline's was delicious and definitely a 5 star rating. The interior was super cute and clean. It's girly with lots of pink but has a chic cafe feel on an adorable little town square. The service was the one area that was lacking and why the 4 stars. The Good: The food was great. It was fresh and prepared very well. The avocado toast had tons of flavor, the bacon was perfectly cooked, the potatoes were crisp in the outside and soft on the inside, the sourdough toast was very good and the biscuit and the house made jam was on point. The Ehhh: We were seated immediately, which was great, but then we were forgotten. We sat there for about 15 minutes before anyone recognized that we had not been approached by a server. The place is pretty small inside and there was a ton of staff working so that should not have been the case. Once we were served, the server really didn't follow back up with us, even knowing that we were missed in the beginning. As someone who has done that job, that's definitely not the way to course correct. I will give them the benefit of the doubt that this is not the norm and see how the service is the next time we go. I would definitely recommend that you go and check them out.

Caroline's in downtown Flowery Branch is a gem that deserves all the love. I've been a few times now, and every single visit has been consistent, fresh, flavorful, and just impressive from start to finish. The location is right in the heart of downtown Flowery Branch, which has been growing fast and becoming a really cute, walkable area. Parking has never been a problem for me--though I typically visit during non-peak hours--but I can imagine it gets busier during prime brunch time. Still, it's worth the effort. The inside of Caroline's is honestly adorable. It has a charm and comfort that feels inviting right away. Great lighting, tasteful art, and very comfortable chairs (I appreciate that as a bigger guy). It feels thoughtful--like someone took their time designing a space that people would actually want to spend time in. Whether you're there with a significant other, family, or friends, it's just a great environment to enjoy a slow, delicious morning. Let's talk food. The menu is tight, and that's a great thing. It's clear they focus on a handful of items and knock them out of the park. Everything I've tried so far has been excellent. My wife can't get enough of their TK Sandwich: grilled sourdough, lettuce, tomato, Dunes mayo, white cheddar, bacon, egg, and she always adds avocado. It's balanced, fresh, and that grilled sourdough is crispy perfection. My first visit, I had their fried chicken & bourbon waffle with bacon jam, brown butter farm egg, maple syrup, and hot sauce foam (don't worry, it's flavorful--not spicy). I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best chicken and waffles I've had. The waffle is soft with just the right hint of sweetness, the chicken is tender and perfectly fried with a thin, crispy crust, and the bacon jam + syrup combo is just magic. Then came the sweet section. They serve a butter-fried banana bread topped with whipped cream, maple syrup, and fleur de sel. I'm a banana bread fan to begin with, but this is next level. It's the first time I've ever had it fried like this, and it was so good I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing before my meal. A must-try. On another visit, I tried their fried chicken sandwich--and let me tell you, it's the best chicken breakfast sandwich I've had in the area. Pimento cheese, bacon, Alabama white BBQ, and green tomato chow chow on a grilled brioche bun. It all came together perfectly. Now, the sides. The crispy potatoes are absolutely incredible. Golden, flavorful, soft inside with a perfect crisp outside--not too crunchy, just right. I forgot to order them the second time and got fries instead, and I was a little bummed... until I tasted the fries. Turns out, Caroline's also makes some of the best fries around. Flavorful, crispy, not greasy--just delicious. Caroline's has quickly become one of my favorite breakfast spots. Everything is made with care, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the food is consistently amazing. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend stopping by, supporting local, and giving them a well-earned shoutout. I'll definitely be back (again and again).

Classy! Stylish. Pink walls! Just so unexpected for little ole downtown Flowery Branch, GA. And yet, EXACTLY what Flowery Branch needs! Breakfast with a dear friend was just as perfect as the meal. Waitress was patient yet attentive. Potatoes crispy. Avocado toast spicy and satisfying. We'll definitely be back!

Be prepared to wait! But it's worth it. We got there around 11 on a Saturday and it was about an hour wait. Luckily our group had a LOT to catch up on, so we didn't mind it. The food was good! We started with a bourbon pecan waffle for the table. Everyone got a few bites and it was so yummy. I ordered the fried chicken pimento sandwich for my meal. It was HUGE. And so good. The fries were okay, but could have used a little more salt in my opinion. Overall a great new addition to Flowery Branch. I can't wait to come back and try other items.

A very charming and busy place. The food is amazing. The banana bread was warm and delightful with the extra fluffy side of cream and syrup. Perfect! The Berry and Prosciutto sandwich was such a lovely balance of sweet and savory. The best combination. Not to mention the salty vinegar fries. Even the Pork Belly sandwich special killed it! I'm so thrilled to have another amazing place to eat in the area. Friendly and warm interior. Do yourself a favor and go!

Came here on opening day because we live close by And we love Antebellum! We are so excited to have a brunch spot and it does not disappoint! The aesthetic is something right out of sex in the city vibes, pink walls, gold and white accents- it was too crowded to take pictures today but you'll have to trust me on this. Unfortunately today they were out of many menu items but it's understandable and our second choices were very good. We didn't have any adult beverages today but the menu looks fun! Our server was very attentive and helpful. There a few tables outside as an option on a nice day but parking is a little scarce. Be prepared to walk a block or two however its free to park downtown here.

Brunch burger, vanilla latte and banana bread
    Taylor M.

Caroline's might just be my new brunch obsession. The toasted banana bread? Life-changing. The burger? A masterpiece- pimento cheese, bacon, Chipotle BBQ sauce, mixed greens and peppers all living in perfect harmony. Mine was more well done than I like and the bun was a bit toasty, so l'd suggest ordering it medium for the best experience. The service was top-notch, and as a self-proclaimed coffee snob, I have to say-the vanilla latte was chef's kiss. 10/10, would happily brunch here every weekend.

Absolutely fantastic spot in quaint downtown Flowery Branch. The pancake was humongous and so good with the berry compote. Breakfast potatoes were cooked to perfection. Friendly, attentive staff. Pretty big space, so wait shouldn't be much of an issue at most times. Highly recommend stopping here!

We loved it so much we ate here 3 times in one week. The chicken and waffles will change your life! The bagel with smoked salmon was piled high. Staff super friendly and attentive. Wonderful owner.

It's by far the best! The two owners, Nick and Alison, are the reason for this. They have incredibly high standards and that's reflected in every dish - from the ingredients to the presentation. Every time, we get appetizers, entrees, and dessert (because it's all so delicious), and their cocktail menu just keeps getting better and better. It's been solid since our first visit, but over the past year they tripled the size and elevated the menu so much we think Antebellum now rivals the best cocktail spots in Atlanta! If you live in the area and haven't yet been, or if you're visiting, make a reservation - and be sure to order appetizers, mains, and dessert (and of course cocktails). There's no need to overthink what you order. Every dish and cocktail they serve is exceptional.

Despite our unexpectedly late start to the day, there was a steady flow of customers the entire time we ate breakfast. Customers ranged from young families, single guest and friends gathering in small groups, everyone we saw ordered a variety of breakfasts. There are options for all types of morning eaters. Small portions to big meals. You are bound to find something to fit your mood. While the options are typical choices you find in many breakfast diner type businesses, the quality of the food and the freshness was evident. Nothing was "greasy" or flavorless nor was anything "slammed " together to get diners in and out quickly. Care was taken to provide a good breakfast with warm southern hospitality. I ordered the short stack (2) of the blueberry crunchcakes. They were two large blueberry pancakes topped with granola. They were not overly sweet nor did the granola conflict with the pancake experience. It was actually my second favorite pancake I've ever had. They were large enough I only ate half the order. I requested a side of bacon and it came with three strips, cooked nicely. Not too crispy and not too floppy. My husband ordered the Western Omelette which had ham, peppers, onions and cheese. He also chose the oven roasted potatoes and the English muffin. He was pleased to see there was not a ton of cheese inside as he has experienced elsewhere, so you could easily taste the various flavors of each ingredient. The portion was hearty so he too only ate half. The potatoes were perfectly golden and tasted like potatoes. Nothing was greasy nor overly salted so it felt like a hearty breakfast. If you are in town and want a yummy breakfast of some classic breakfast favorites, make it a point to eat at J. Christopher's. You will taste fresh ingredients, get good portions and won't break the bank. I wasn't a fan of the hot or iced coffee though, which always completes my morning. If you are in the mood for more than a pastry at breakfast, this place is one to try.
