The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, and every meal we've had has been outstanding. The service has been just as impressive. Even with a full restaurant, the staff is friendly, attentive, and keeps everything running smoothly. One tip for first-time visitors: join the online waitlist before you head over. It makes a huge difference and saves a lot of waiting. That's exactly what we've been doing, and it's worked perfectly. In fact, the restaurant has been so good that I've already eaten there twice in the same week! This was my first experience with First Watch. Terribly disappointed. Classic Eggs Benedict; fail. Terrible plating, the Hollandaise sauce tastes like a lemon curd pie. Completely ruined the experience of a true Eggs Benedict. The "chef" forgot to add the tomato that was in the description of the dish. I will admit that the potato dish was actually acceptable for my husband. Every interaction with the staff was spot on. I am hoping that my brunch with my mother-in-law will improve. Food and service were immaculate. Was extremely busy due to church crowd , but we didn't wait long. The *only* complaint is that the beans with the barbacoa breakfast tacos were extremely bland, didn't have really any flavor to them. But the main meal was amazing. Well I finally made it to this new location. It was very busy for Sunday morning brunch. We walked in right before the next rush. We ordered to go at the bar. Two reasons why I gave them a 4-stars is(1) it was too crowded at the entrance. People standing to be seated, to request seating or to pay their bill. The second reason was my husband's Omelette was supposed to be the Works but it was missing ingredients. His grits and my French toast were scrumptious! The dining area to eat was beautifully laid and I love their patio. It was so serene. If we had stayed to eat, we would have ate there. The servers were great and very friendly and helpful. More space in this restaraunt would benefit them tremendously. read more

This was my second time here since it opened a week ago. The first time was at lunch time and my girlfriend and I sat at the bar. Nice interior and very much on brand. Ordered the smoke salmon frittata. It took a minute but was really good. My friend ordered the salmon Benedict which looked amazing. Just went there today for much with my hubby. It was an 1.5 hour wait but the bar was open again. Waited to have it cleared but got to sit down right away. Ordered the Tri athlete and my hubby ordered the works omelet. Took close to 40 minutes but food is super fresh and tasted great. The veggies were really good in my omelette that came with homemade pico, toast and fruit cup everything was very good. My hubby's food looked great. He said it was large. read more

Food was outstanding and service was top notch! No complaints. I ordered the Bacado omelette with a side of the million dollar potatoes and blackberry sweet tea. Those potatoes could be the best potatoes I've ever eaten. The waitress said they are life changing and she might have been right lol! My daughter had the carrot cake pancake (singular because no one could eat two....) and took some home after she was stuffed. It was great. She also had a honey crunch coffee that was to die for. Give them a visit, they just opened and they are right on the mark for breakfast and lunch! Truly spectacular! read more

We tried Porterhouse for the first time tonight and were really looking forward to having a new restaurant in the area. Unfortunately, we left very disappointed. When we arrived, the restaurant was practically empty--maybe seven cars in the parking lot. We were asked if we had reservations, which surprised us given how slow it was, but we were seated quickly. Service started off well. The bread was delicious, our drinks arrived promptly, and our server recommended the Chicken Marsala and the Steak Frites. We ordered both, requesting the steak cooked medium rare, and our son ordered the shrimp tortellini. The food arrived looking great, but that's where things started going downhill. The Chicken Marsala had a lot of mushrooms, which wasn't a problem since I enjoy mushrooms. However, we were only given forks. We waited a few minutes hoping someone would notice, but no one did. My husband eventually got up to ask another employee for knives. After waiting several more minutes with no luck, our server finally came by, and we asked her as well. A couple more minutes later, we finally received them. Our son's shrimp tortellini was very good. The steak, however, was extremely tough and difficult to cut. Once my husband cut into the center, it was clearly cooked medium instead of medium rare and had an unusual gray color. He tried a few bites anyway, but it was tough and lacked flavor. We asked for it to be removed, and he reordered the shrimp tortellini instead. While we waited for his replacement meal, I continued eating my Chicken Marsala. It was edible, but very bland. I make Chicken Marsala often, and this version lacked seasoning and could have used more Marsala wine in the sauce. Since we had already waited so long, I chose to finish it rather than send it back. During all of this, a family was seated next to us. They sat there for approximately 15 minutes without anyone greeting them, bringing water, offering bread, or even acknowledging they were there. Eventually, they got up and left. No one stopped them or even seemed to notice. What disappointed us most was that a manager never came to our table after the steak was sent back. For a brand-new restaurant, I would have expected someone to check on the situation, apologize, or at least ask how they could make things right. We ended up spending about $125 and left feeling very dissatisfied. We truly wanted to like Porterhouse and hope they work through these issues, but based on our experience, I would recommend saving your time and money and trying one of the many other great restaurants in the area instead. read more

‼DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES‼ I ordered a sandwich that comes with jalapeños, which I cannot have, I asked for them to be off. After waiting 40 minutes for our food, they bring it out and there's jalapeños on it! I told them I was allergic, they take it back to the kitchen, THEY TAKE THE JALEPENOS OFF, and keep it back there for 10 minutes to make it seem like they made me a new sandwich! When I get the sandwich I smell it, it smells like jalapeños and I tasted like it, they literally just took the jalapeños off didn't change the bread that was SOAKED with jalapeño juice‼Please if you or your children have allergies DO NOT take them here‼ Their excuse was that it was busy and understaffed. They will just take off the ingredients that you're allergic to and send it right back because they don't want to remake it! The manager was supposed to call us but after 2 days they never did! 10/10 DONT recommend. The eggs Benedict was awful, they were straight boiled eggs. Just an awful experience, our waiter was amazing though. WE WAITED AN HOUR AND A HALF FOR OUR FOOD TO BE RIGHT‼ we were also 1rst place in line and then kicked back to 37th place! read more

Worst service, worst food, worst EVERYTHING I've seen in the last 20 years! 14oz Ribeye looked like something stolen from Denny's. Order medium rare comes out well done. ALL the sides were over-salted to the point that only one bite was enough to send you diving for something to wash it down. We sat at the bar, but no worries about getting too drunk as the bartender Christian was too busy running around everywhere but behind the bar. Even when you send some to call him for you, he heads for the tables instead of behind the bar! Today we went for breakfast and our 15 - 20 minute wait became an hour. With a feels like temp of 95 degrees on the blazing sun, we choose to wait indoors to avoid the heat. We were asked repeatedly to wait outside in the heat or in our hot car. Mind you, we were not blocking anything or anyone!! We stood our ground and refused to wait outside. I really felt for the other customers who were forced to be outside in the heat, elderly and children. The food was awesome as always and our server was magnificent!!
