9/10; would recommend!…read more I hired the America's Flooring team when I moved into a new house and needed locks changed. Initial contact: We stopped by the store and were introduced to Brian. He was very warm and personable (he recommended a lunch spot nearby that is now one of our favorites in the area!) He walked through all the details with us, gave us a bunch of advice (not in an overbearing way all though - which I'm sensitive to), and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. Getting the work done: I was able to text Brian throughout and he texted to check to make sure things were going well, which was helpful. The project manager for the crew was on top of things and made sure everything was being done to our expectations. A team came first to rip out the old floor and then the installation crew came to level the floor and install carpet and hardwood. They paid attention to all the details and gave me options (with pricing) when they found unexpected issues in our new house. Everything was done on time and as expected. The quality of the installation was excellent - corners were sharp, no gaps or issues with the hardwood, carpet was installed really well, etc. The only concern I had was that the flooring people didn't take the molding they had to rip out/replace, which should have been thrown out; Brian had them take care of that after I reached out about the problem, so the issue was resolved (though it would have been nice if the crew had taken all the molding without me needing to intervene). Vibes: Brian, our sales rep / account manager, was wonderful. The crew was fine; they left toilet seats up in bathrooms when they left which isn't the end of the world but is a personal pet peeve and it made me feel like they didn't treat my house with full respect. Otherwise they were very orderly and cleaned up each day after leaving. Cost: Pricing was all competitive with other companies I considered. Overall: I'll likely be hiring them again! They're better than any other flooring company I've hired, and I've hired a few in the last 5 years.

America's Flooring Store came up in our search so we had nothing to lose coming here. First, it is 1000% worth the drive out here. They have so many beautiful selections to choose from. After we shared our style with Lisa, she immediately pulled a few options. I'm not over exaggerating when I say they were all perfect. Both my husband and I leaned towards the same one as our favorite! Lisa really listened which I feel is so rare these days, and made the ordering process a breeze. Our tiles came in quickly in about a week. One of the tile sadly was cracked right down the middle which happens. Nobody can control what happens in shipping, and Lisa immediately took care of this and got replacements! We will never go anywhere else for flooring and will refer all our friends and family here. The company's name should have been our first red flag--"Trend Carpet & Tile" doesn't even mention hardwood floors, which isn't their specialty. My advice: look elsewhere. We worked with Sarah, the daughter of the owner, who lives in our neighborhood. She was not helpful when I first reached out with concerns. She told me their floors had a one-year warranty and there was nothing they could do. I then asked her to involve the flooring product company to inspect the floors, and invited her to come see the issue in person, as she had only seen photos. She never followed through. I suggested that the product they used might be defective, as the problems had worsened over the last year, but no action was taken. To make matters worse, we began noticing issues just 90 days after installation similar to what we see now. The installer, Andrew, dismissed our concerns and claimed it was normal. However, the problems continued to get worse. Sarah from Trend blamed our household for using a Roomba, having pets, and having children, all of which she claimed caused the issues. I told her that whatever products they used weren't durable enough for a typical household if that is what did the damage. She even went as far as blaming our use of Bona Floor Cleaner, which is non-toxic and widely recommended product with no complaints that I could find showing it damaged floors. Trend Carpet & Tile never specified the duration of their warranty or provided guidance on what floor cleaners to use or avoid. I never expected to need a floor refinishing just two years after installation! The photos clearly show that 30-40% of the floors look like now. They have large greyish/white patches where the finish has failed or warn off prematurely. These issues are not caused by a Roomba or cleaning products, but by a faulty product that Trend Carpet & Tile isn't want to stand behind. The VP of the company, Sara, was rude and only friendly when there was a sale to be made or a check to be collected. She seemed more focused on attracting new customers than resolving issues with existing ones. Despite their website "Customer Satisfaction statement" they did nothing to make things right with us. Buyer beware!!

Christy always makes sure all materials are ordered and delivered on time prior to the job and can always be trusted to lean you in the correct direction both in terms of style and quality. Mike, their project coordinator, is beyond great. Just as with the first job, he is always a phone call or text away to answer any questions. He also send the best people he has to complete the job, both in terms of skills needed as well as adhering to your timeline. No matter how many jobs he has going, he consistently checks in with his workers and you to make sure items are going smoothly. My floors were in dire need of refinishing after 17 years and now they look like new. Mike and Bill are patient and take the time to explain everything including how to care for the floors properly (I was doing everything wrong before).
