The patio roofing was installed much faster than I expected. I expected some delay due to Carports Hawaii scheduled projects ahead of mine. But, Carports Hawaii was able to squeeze in my job the week after accepting the job. They completed the work within 2 days. We are very pleased with the finished product. The workers were very experienced and completed the work without asking for directions from us. There were no delays or interruptions to their work. Great job! 2 thumbs up!! read more

When I contacted Carports Hawaii, I received a response almost immediately. Mario came out the very same day to take a look at the garage space and provided an estimate on the spot. The price was very reasonable. On installation day, the crew arrived at 8:30 am sharp and worked steadily until the job was completed around 3:30 pm. They were focused, professional, and courteous. Mario and the Carports Hawaii team were amazing to work with. From initial consultation, to site visit, to pricing, to installation, they were responsive, available, and professional. We absolutely love our patio cover and have received so many compliments from our neighbors. This is a great option if you want to turn a blank concrete slab into a much more usable space. Rain or shine we now eat the majority of our meals under our Carports Hawaii patio cover. We've had it up for a few months and couldn't be more pleased. We recently went through tropical storm Calvin and the cover had no issues with the 50+ mph gusts. Highly recommend this product. read more

We chose Carports Hawaii to install a deck covering instead of a full roof--saving us additional cost and time while preserving the open "feel" of a tinted carport. They are one of the best companies I've worked with in a while. Scheduling was a breeze, and the team took the time to walk me through all available options. They even brought us to their showroom to view the actual structure colors and roof panel options. The installation was seamless, and the final product is top-notch. I often receive compliments from guests on our deck. And if any issues arise down the road, don't worry. Mario and his team are extremely responsive--when two panels broke, they came out within a day to repair them, all covered under their five-year warranty. I highly recommend Carports Hawaii to anyone looking for a roof, shade, or patio cover. read more

Aloha! I am compelled to share an amazing experience I recently had with Mario and Carports Hawai'i. As a former and now retired 22 yr General Manager from The Home Depot I know what excellent customer service looks like and Mario is the text book example of someone who fully understands his customer's needs and expectations and through his excellent communication skills and supreme responsiveness is able to provide superior customer service that so many businesses fail to do. Mario was the first to reach out to me regarding my questions about installing a new patio cover. I recently remodeled my entire back yard space with a new concrete slab and moss rock retaining wall, but living in Ewa Beach the one thing I was missing was a functional and reliable patio shade system to protect my family and friends during social gatherings. I looked at retractable awnings and other patio shade systems but none offered the quality, durability stylish and affordable options that Carports Hawaii did. Mario's team was also very professional. Both Gleb and Chris were very friendly and efficient in delivering a quality end product that my family and I will enjoy for years to come. I highly recommend Mario and Carports Hawai'i and once you make that first call, you too will experience what great customer service should be!! read more

I highly recommend you give them a call if you are considering a new roof addition. You will not regret it! read more

Repair requested and within days the issue was resolved. Very happy with the speedy repair process.

Very professional team, they took the time to listen to our wants and provided suggestions to ensure the structure met, our budget and technical guidelines, for proper drainage, sun protection without compromising the aesthetics design of our yard and the structure of our home. Mario made an initial site assessment to provide suggestions for us to consider. Monica showed up the day of installation and went over installation details with us and their crew to alleviate miscommunication. The crew worked diligently and cleaned up after themselves. The job was completed in 3 days. We're very please with our patio cover, the installation and the superior customer service we received. Mahalo Carports Hawaii!!! read more

I called for a double carport quote and spoke to a Monika as I recalled. And she was so nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions frankly and politely thoroughly and even invited me to come to their warehouse and see their products in person. No pressure to buy at all. My only regret is that I did not go with this company and instead I went with their competitor, 'Ohana' BIG MISTAKE as that particular company missed up their own installation of their product and was a headache to deal with. You can view my whole story with that sketchy company on that listing. From what I learned if you're considering a metal carport that looks modern and sleek go with Carports Hawaii. Their team are highly trained and are actually employees within the company (unlike that other company I went with that used poorly trained contractors that don't care about you once they are paid). read more

Mario was able to work with me to build a great carport, and my car is happy again. It looks great.

Our garage was too small for our current car, so we decided to look into carports. Unfortunately, the tight parking space between our house and garage appeared to be a bit of a challenge for the aluminum carport I had in mind. After a bit of research, I contacted Carports Hawaii. Mariusz promptly flew out to Maui after reviewing a few pictures of the parking space. To my surprise and joy he confirmed that a custom carport was doable. He gave me a reasonable quote for the challenging custom job, and a few weeks later I have a sleek and modern looking carport that I absolutely love! Mariusz also came out the day of installation to make sure the custom work was done correctly. Mariusz and his crew were incredibly professional, very personable, and I would absolutely use them again. Thanks Carports Hawaii! read more

We needed to just cover a small part of our carport but after seeing the quality of Carports Hawaii's material, we decided to take the leap and cover our 28'X12' deck. Turns out to be an excellent decision. We live on the foot of the Koolaus, where the wind and daily rain hits us constantly. The Carports Hawaii product is durable and absolutely beautiful. It's been about a month since they've installed it and we're making more use out of deck than we have ever before. The deck used to be too hot to walk on but now we can walk around comfortably, barefooted. We have a bunch of plants on the deck and they're thriving. Mario and team are quick to respond and courteous. Only regret is that we didn't get it done sooner!! read more

Mario and his team were AMAZING. A++++ Highly recommend. Excellent pricing, highly responsive communication, quality work, and he's just a genuinel likable guy who loves what he does. Please reach out to him if you were considering someone else. Of all the quotes we received, Carports Hawaii had the best price so we scheduled an appointment to check out Mario's shop in Hawaii Kai. We got to see the actual materials that would be installed prior to putting down a single cent and he took the time to answer all of our questions and walk us through the process. We were able to customize the colors that we wanted for both the poles that supported the structure and the color of tint on the overhead paneling. We were debating getting a custom size as well, but what he had in stock was just a few square feet smaller than what we wanted so we decided not to wait for a custom piece. Mario then scheduled with us to check out our house (just two days later) and drove over to plot out the project which only took a few minutes. We have substantially uneven roofs (one part about 18" higher than the other) which I thought would complicate things but he assured us it could be done and showed us some pictures of what prior clients had done with similar roofing (we actually haven't had to make any modifications). Just a few days later Mario came again to drop off most of the supplies (posts, panels) at which time we put down a deposit of half the total payment. He let us know the time frame of guaranteed installation but also told us if existing projects finished ahead of time, that he might be able to squeeze us in as long as we were able to confirm we'd be home to allow access to the deck. He absolutely delivered. He was able to fit us in and after 2 1/2 days of work by his team, we had a new deck covering. Although I assume this is highly atypical, only 3 weeks had passed from the time we had first contacted him until we were enjoying our now-covered patio. Mario called us each day after his workers finished to make sure that everything was done professionally and that we were satisfied. He was out of country at the time but came over to inspect the work after he got back. Overall, I don't see how he could've made it any easier for us and I can't think of a single thing I'd want that he didn't provide. read more

We were looking to put a roof over our deck but didn't want to spend $20k. We went with carports Hawaii because it was more affordable and Mario was very responsive. I was a little skeptical to go with other companies because some of their reviews mentioned being scammed and over charged. Carports Hawaii offered a very affordable and fair pricing which included supplies and labor. He gave us an estimate of 5-12 weeks for an installation date but if there were any cancellations on projects he would try to fit us in. We were fortunate to get a spot for installation 3 weeks after our initial contact! It took about 2.5 days to install. Just in time for the summer heat! *Also has a gutter spout that empties into the gutter on the house read more

These guys came through for me. I left one of their competitors with a bad experience. Tried to go the construction route which also went no where. So reluctantly called Carports Hawaii. I needed a patio cover. I met with Mario and after our meeting at his shop he came out to my place to check it out. Once I settled what I wanted he checked his inventory and said he had everything in stock. I gave him a deposit and 5 days later he delivered the material to the house. 1 week later his guys showed up and finished the job in 3 days. My project had some complications because of the angles of my roofline. The guys figured out a great solution, fabricated what I needed for a secure, functional and great looking structure. The project came out great. Mario and his 2 guys were great to work with. The communication was great. The guys were professional, clean and personable. I highly recommend Carport Hawaii. read more
