Previously we gave a 5 star review and since they did so well, we felt assured it would be an upstanding repeat lunch. Let's be clear,this visit was in early afternoon and not many customers were dining in. My husband ordered the Italian cold cut sub and he was very pleased with it. The sliced meats and the bread were perfect. My order was the chicken parmesan hot sandwich, with foccia bread. It was 1 step above awful. The bread was fresh, which was appreciated. read more

I was surprised how much I enjoyed my experience at Carrabba's. I'm not typically a big fan of Italian cuisine but they host a special Father/Daughter date night. My daughter and I attended. There's a large private parking lot with plenty of parking. When we arrived we greeted warmly and escorted directly to our seats. The staff was really kind and attentive, especially to all of the daughters at the event. They have all of the daughters flowers which I thought was a nice touch. I had a Caesar salad, filet, sauteed spinach and linguine. My daughter had lasagna. We both had cheesecake for dessert. I thought the filet was really good. As was the salad, my other sides were just ok. My daughter really enjoyed her lasagna. We both liked the cheesecake. Although it was a special occasion when we went, the thoughtfulness and kind of the staff was very much appreciated. I'll definitely go back. read more

We've been frequenting this place for about five years, and unfortunately, it's been on a steady decline. In that time, management has changed at least five or six times -- and each transition seems to make things worse, not better. We usually sit at the bar because we enjoy the social aspect and the TVs. However, the overall experience continues to disappoint. They're constantly out of basic food items -- things like meatballs, potatoes, or chicken wings. As for drinks, it's hit or miss depending on the day and who's working. If you don't place your drink order as soon as the bartender arrives, expect a long wait. The male bartender (Ethan) seems like a nice person, but his customer service, personality, and bartending skills are about a 1/10. Plates and glasses often come out dirty, refills require reminders, and this happens even when there are only a few people at the bar. There have been times we've sat there for ten minutes without any acknowledgment and ended up leaving. The female bartenders are great -- friendly, attentive, and professional -- but Ethan could use serious training in both service and bar management. The new manager appears to be trying, and we respect that. But this place needs a complete transformation: consistent staff training, higher cleanliness standards, and a focus on customer service, appearance, and etiquette. It's frustrating because the potential is there -- it just needs better leadership and accountability to make it worth coming back regularly. read more

This was an excellent location to host my wellness event and authors book signing. I arrived early to prepare the setup and was greeted by the Host, Corey. He was hospitable and showed me to the room. He did great setting up the tables and chairs. I felt right at home and was able to take my time organizing everything. The staff were very helpful. Our servers for the evening were Francis and Cameron. They were both attentive and always available to service almost 30 guests in attendance. I can't forget Ms. Sara who was working on Friday when I came for a site visit. She was so helpful by recommending the best layout to accomplish my vision. The evening turned out better than I imagined. The appetizers menu exceeded my expectation. I could not eat before the event started, but ordered Zucchini Strips and the delicious Chicken Soup to enjoy at home. Thank you Carrabba's! The waiter was clearly high, and unapologetic about it. My soup was good, I ordered the Chicken Marsala and it was okay. We were without drinks for most of our meal- I then asked for the lemon cake for desert, to which the waiter turned around his iPad and said "We don't got none!". Shrimp scampi was a disappointment. The sauce was a soupy thick mixture. There was no taste of garlic, butter or lemon. Not sure what was in it. The bread had almost no butter-- hard and tasteless. The holiday decorations looked like they were from the Dollar Store. C'mon Carrabas. You can do better than this. $10.95 for dessert! Won't be returning soon. read more

I sat at the bar, I came in during the evening during happy hours to waste time from traffic. The bartender was super nice as well as the staff that I interacted with. I would just say that the bar area needed cleaning because the area of where I sat at had like old stains on it so I just left the menus there to cover up. Two of us came here last night around 5-ish for an early dinner at the bar. The bartender was great-- we had two Peronis. The happy hour price was $3! Yay for happy hour. Our food was brought out by the owner who wished us a bon appetite! I had the grilled veggie ravioli and the husband had the rigatoni-- both had goat cheese, delish. Ordered (via Uber delivery) filet mignon medium rare, it arrived rare to medium rare...45 seconds in our microwave it was huge and perfect. Asparagus was better than anything I can make at home. I ordered directly through Carrabba's website for delivery. I received the confirmation email of my order and at the very bottom of the email it says "For order or delivery issues, please contact Overlea. After waiting for over 1hr for some sort of communication about the status of my order I decided to call the restaurant. The first time I called the girl who answered said hello and then hung up on me before I could say anything. I called back and spoke to Trey who was very kind I explained my issue and he went to speak to his manager Nick. Nicks solution was I would need to call DoorDash because the dasher probably stole my order. I was told by Trey that per Nick there was nothing he could do. Trey you were great, understanding and apologetic. Nick you need to do better and Carrabba's you need to train your management staff better especially when it comes to customer service! read more

Sever was fine. Pork chop was a lot smaller than the one I've previosly had at a different location. Just a heads up to others - there are lunch specials but they don't bring you the menu that shows them unless you ask. I hadn't been to this location in many years and my impression was the same as last time - if they are going to have a cooking area that is viewable to the public they should make sure it is very clean and well-maintained which is not the case at this location. read more

I came here for a carry out order. The atmosphere was relaxing. The staff was friendly and great to see clean uniforms/clothing from actual people serving food. I had the Toscanna chicken with scallops and steak. Meat was tender and melted in my mouth. Good favor. This is the third time that I have visited this location for sit down service, but have gotten carryout on several occasions. This will be the last time that I patron this establishment because the service the first time was amazing and has not been replicated since. Yesterday, the service was so bad and it felt like we were a burden instead of guests. I was excited for the 2 for 45 deal and the server rolled her eyes and said they are the same prices as the regular menu, but you get a desert- and that is exactly what I wanted. The savior of the evening was the runners that brought out our food in good spirits and even bread after I asked. I noticed thet the waitress was super nice to the other tables with exception of two men at the bar that she loudly announced were disrespectful. In the end we only got one desert with two spoons and I based on the check it did not seem to be two servings, but seems that she already decided that I did not need any desert based on her previous eye roll. I tipped cash on 71 dollars with a 20 and she did not ask if change was needed which is just a courtesy. I typically tip well, but based on her minimal interactions with us 25% would have been my choice, but was never asked. I understand a bad day, but at this point I can get my Italian fix at another spot. read more

Decided to take hubby out for dinner, and he chose Carrabba's for dinner. Upon entry, found the hostess sitting down on the side, I think she was training another co-worker. The hostess advised were we okay with using plastic flat ware, which we were okay with, but hoped they will later provide silver ware, especially when eating pasta. We were escorted to the first seat, but too close to the door for us and asked to be seated in a booth. Then we were escorted further back on the left side of the restaurant. I have had my share of issues at this location and the one in Hunt Valley, and have been willing to overlook the issues because the food is good. But this visit was about to put the nail in the coffin. After being seated, we waited nearly over 15 minutes before anyone came to assist us, and watched another couple come in, be seated greeted and served before us. Finally, Tiera (apologize if I got her name wrong) came and asked if someone attended to us, we advised no and before I could advise the distaste, she advised that she will get the manager to come over. She then asked of we needed anything to drink, we both ordered the raspberry flavored tea, since they do not serve sweet tea. We also gave her our entree orders. For hubby he, ordered the Rigatoni Martino with sausage, along with the lentil soup, and I had the Linguine Positano with Shrimp, along with the side salad with vinaigrette dressing. Some time later the manager came (forgot her name) and she advised she heard what happened and said she will take care of it. Our server was treating us like we were celebrities thereafter. Once our soup and salad was served, she brought us more to drink. My hubby can drink liquids very quickly, so I know he was happy. Was not happy that the kitchen didn't have the decency to wipe off the bowl before serving. Everything was good. Then our entrées were served. I asked for shredded cheese on mine. I need to invest in that cheese grater. Our meals were very good. Our server came and advised that the manager was going to take 15% off our meal and offered free dessert. I appreciate when a manager really takes the responsibility and treat their patrons well and make them feel like they want to come back. Like I said previously, I was giving up on Carrabba's here and Hunt Valley. We shared our dessert after eating our lovely entrées. We had the strawberry cheesecake. Did a curbside pick up order tonight for dinner. The ordering process was smooth and easy. The food was delivered to my car before the time that it did it would be ready. No complaints there. The mashed potatoes were really garlicky but still good. Both soups were delicious. The lasagna almost got returned by the way it looked when I opened the container but when I tasted it. It was delicious. Next time I will dine in. But overall, it was a good experience. read more

The food is so delicious here! I come here whenever I have TIME because sadly the service here really sucks. It's like no one cares to have a table if you come at the beginning of the day. I was told there wasn't a manager on duty when I tried to speak with one about why no one was serving us. We waited about 15-20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge our existence and we left. Granted, it hasn't always been like this, but they're slowly going downhill. I would recommend the one in hunt valley or go to a private owned Italian spot, authentic Italian food like in little Italy it's so much better anyway with a more inviting ambiance too. read more

This location has been problematic for some time now, yet I've continued to give them chance after chance. The last two times I've ordered carryout via 3rd party delivery, whole sides as well as desserts have been missing and when I contact the location I'm told they were out. Well as a customer it's unacceptable to pay full price and get a partial meal. Though not ideal at minimum some form of substitution should have been given. Today I grabbed carryout and did my own pick up. I arrived well after the "time frame" given and was greeted right away. After I paid and tipped I waited 30+ minutes before my food finally arrived. I glanced down into the bag and saw my soup and main dish as well as a separate bag of bread that was on top. I didn't think to pick it up as some of the chicken and Alfredo were visible but when I got home I found HALF of my entree Polo Rosa Maria was missing. Then to add insult to injury, I cut into it and it's just a chicken breast no cheese or prosciutto filling! How does an establishment forget an entire piece of stuffed chicken AND the filling in the other. I'm so disappointed with how badly this location has gone downhill. If they cannot successfully support carryout then they should stop offering it. read more

Stopped here last Sunday night on our way home from DC. I really enjoy eating at Carrabba's however this place is in serious need of help. Someone from their corporate office needs to stop by and inspect the building and operations as it's doing the brand some damage. The building is in disrepair and lacking in cleanliness. We noticed broken glass on the front windows, the bathrooms looked atrocious and you could see grease stains on almost every surface which left us wondering about the health of the food. Our waiter smelled of body odor so bad it was quite offensive to our senses. The opening bread was stale. My chicken Bryan was undercooked and had to be sent back. Steak Marsala was ordered as medium and came to me so overcooked I could barely cut it. My wife ordered their new Limoncello pasta dish and it was flavorless. When we talked about it with the manager, who looked barely 20 years old, he seemed highly annoyed at us. He knocked a few bucks off our bill and that was it. I will say the bartender Minnie was very nice and seemed to care. Update: I upgraded the review. Carrabba's reached out to me and put me in touch with the restaurant owner. He really listened to my concerns and mentioned that they have plans to upgrade/renovate the restaurant and address some of the issues I brought up. Very pleasant conversation. I'm happy to see them take that much interest in my opinion and commit to making improvements. I won't give up on Carrabba's because we really do overall enjoy their food and our experiences there. read more
