So glad we came here for breakfast! This is a large restaurant. We came during the week after school had started and we had no wait at all. The breakfast menu is very large. Lots of choices. Keith pointed us to the combos which allow you to get a little of everything. I got the pancakes which you can make any style you want. I chose the Florida pancakes which are covered in strawberries and bananas. They were fabulous! I also got breakfast potatoes and bacon. Bacon was cooked crisp the way I like it. Potatoes were good as well but didn't have peppers and onions like I'm used to but still good. Keith, our server, was fantastic. Not only were we taking care of quickly after ordering a gluten-free cheesesteak omelette the manager stopped by the table to ensure what is gluten, friendly, and gluten-free to eliminate any possible cross-contamination. I was taken very well care of. I have to say our server seemed very slow, but another boy had taken our orders and our drinks and brought out the food and our server did technically nothing for our service. She seems new. Love! So homely and welcoming We came here for brunch before starting our day. I ordered a veggie/egg white omelette with fresh fruit and a mimosa. I was genuinely surprised at the fruit - I was expecting the standard 'melon & grapes' mix but it turned out to be fresh berries, bananas & oranges. Loved every bit of it - couldn't finish the omelette but that's on me to order a 2 egg omelette, not a standard 3. I even loved their method of mimosa - providing a personal bottle for me to pour at my leisure Date loved his French toast and the home fries were perfectly crisp. The initial experience was greeting by the host, who took our size and had us seated to wait. Another party of 5 came in behind us, gave their name to another lady. That party was accidently seated before us and in the table that had a high chair. Kinda a bummer. Then the food: it was just ok. Nothing excellent. $76 for 4 meals felt kinda expensive for florida but... it is what it is. The oddest thing was the coffee mugs. Theyre square outside and round inside. Out of town with family and we decided to have a family meal here instead of cooking and I'm so glad we did! It's Saturday and usually the wait is long any where but we didn't wait longer than 5 mins which was great as it was busy. As soon as we set we was greeted by our server Amanda and from that moment she gave exceptional service! She made sure everyone at the table needs were met even the kids! The food came out in less than 15 mins and every bite was enjoyed by everyone! The kids chicken tenders were very good! And both me and my nephew got a burger and I was able to add an egg to mine and we both said it was bomb! lol We all left with our belly's full! Waffles were big and delicious as well! I was sooo excited to try Kekes because of all the recommendations but I was slightly disappointed. I don't know maybe it's just this location but the waffle was hard. Everyone's waffle was hard and dry. I asked to switch to pancakes but they said I couldn't but they would remake the waffle. When they remade it, it definitely was better but I tried my husbands pancakes and those were really good so I was hoping to just switch. I would come back and give them another shot. On vacation we stopped in with a party of four. We were greeted at the hosted desk by a friendly guy. Antonio took us to our table and had asked if this was our first visit and it was. He explained the history of Keke's. He took our drink orders and explained the menu. I ordered the Western Omelette w/bell peppers and onions. I like mine soft and not crunchy and was glad to be able to order it that way. I'm gluten free so I opted for the grits instead of bread(they do offer gf bread) and my Western omelette came out just as ordered (that is a rare thing) My friend ordered the combo with a waffle and fruit. All the food was great and large portions. Antonio was a great server! He was very friendly, check back with us if we need anything and never made us feel like he was in a hurry to get us in and out. I stopped by Kiki's Café around 1:30 for a late brunch just before they were about to close. I was hesitant because it is a chain restaurant, but they did not lose a point with their food and especially the portion sizing . Even though they were winding down, everything was super fresh and so good. I got the Caesar salad with chicken, and they seriously loaded it up with chicken I was impressed! We also had the southwest omelette with sausage on the side & it came with a side of breakfast potatoes (I personally loved the potatoes) and it was good, very filling! We were seated quickly. Our server, Sam, was super nice! I got the cheesesteak panini and my family got pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon and sausage. I enjoyed my cheesesteak. It was creamy and cheesy as I requested. I wish it was served hot, but it was a little cold. The flavor was still good though. The swapped chips for fries and they were super fresh and crispy. The pancakes are HUGE! Like, you might only need one. But they looked great and had that homemade look. The French toast was the perfect thickness and beautifully decorated with bananas and other toppings! Everyone enjoyed their meal. My only true gripe is the cleanliness of the place. There seemed to be lots of food on the floor including right under my feet, which made me uncomfortable as a germaphobe. Kekes is a constant good experience. The food isn't the best youve ever had, there's nothing new and exciting to try, but the service is good, the quality is good, and it's the same no matter the location. I brought my kekes anniversary cup, which allows free refill on any beverage. I asked for an iced coffee, and the server was kind enough to bring me the anniversary cup (which is pretty small) plus a large glass with iced coffee, as a convenience. Much appreciated! I ordered a waffle, with sugar freee syrup, and a side of potatoes (man do I wish they had hashbrowns!). The server wasn't around when the food was delivered so he wasn't there to see that the sugar free syrup did not come out. Plus the potatoes were very cold. I waited about 3 minutes, unable to eat any of my meal before the server came over. He fixed both issues very quickly, and apologized. The restaurant is very bright and clean. It's always tough to see a ton of empty tables and then be told there's a wait. I know this is due to staffing, and there's not much they can do to fix it, but it's a difficult thing to get used to. We will be back to kekes as it's nearby, affordable, and consistent. read more

The potatoes were very good, definitely the highlight of the meal. The French toast had potential but it needed to be soaked a little bit longer bc it was more like regular toast with toppings than French toast. My husband got the eggs and potatoes, he rated his meal 4/5...the 3 of us who got French toast gave it 3/5, so majority won this rating. My parents live in Florida but I live in Maryland so I have never heard of Keke's until today. We visited the Keke's in Davenport on a Saturday morning. Tip: come before 10 am where there is no wait. We left the restaurants after 10 am and there was a long line outside. The service was quick. The server quickly took our order and gave us our coffee. I really liked the coffee mug that they used. It's modern. The breakfast menu is extensive and they also serve mimosas and Bellinis. After 10:30 am, you can order from the lunch menu. I ordered the Greek omelette and it came with home fries. The portion was generous and filled me up. My parents ordered the western omelette. Keke's is modern inside and my parents have wanted to try this restaurant for some time. We came here on Labor Day for a departing breakfast from our AirBnb/Epcot adventure. It was a little bit of a wait around 10am. We put my name on the list for 8 people, gave my phone number for texting when the table was ready, and was told 20-25 minutes. That's not so bad for our size but we did kinda feel like they may have been a little understaffed. About 20 minutes later I was being texted and we were being seated. Our server Chris was great and he kept our coffee cups filled. I got a blueberry waffle and unlimited coffee, which was all I could handle right then and there. The waffle was good but I wished they would have just used fresh blueberries with some syrup instead of canned blueberries like the kind you'd use for pie filling.
