FYI I have dentures but i can't eat with them in so this review is with them removed. Bread and appetizers were brought in good timing. Wine took a while because i did ask her to find me the Sweetest one she could find. And she did it was wonderful. Mozzarella sticks were amazing. Despised the olive oil and herbs dip for bread. Bread is a little plain. One server seemed to refuse to talk , to ask for the olive oil across the table. Since it was the first time we didnt know she needed it. She more pointed and us not understanding ( cause she didnt say anything) we said yes we have the olive oil, thank you. She continues to point. We finally gave it to her, then pour our oil in the saucer, sets it down, walks away. I'm pretty sure she was either high or on the edge taking her self OUT. Our main server was excellent even though she was sick. Beverages were not refilled quickly, with at least 15 minute wait. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fruit flies were present.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When food was delivered, the soup or salad that was ordered was presented AFTER the meal. I ordered from Carrabba's curbside pick up. My order was ready at the estimated pick up time. This was greatly appreciated. My order was very accurate, hot, and fresh. I ordered the Rigatoni Martino. It was delicious as always. I ordered the "Chocolate Dream" for dessert. It was delicious as well. I was hoping for a "bigger" slice.Lol, but it was enough. I just love that dessert. Where do I begin. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bench seat in the back of restaurant near the takeout door sits very low and there was a constant cold breeze blowing past the table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Calamari appetizer had about three small whole pieces and the rest were scraps pieces hard fried with pepper and salt. My 7oz sirloin was tough and cold. Fettuccini was cold and tasted and looked like it had been reheated with sweet milk sitting in the bottom of the bowl. The grilled chicken was luke-warm and completely cold within minutes with the wind blowing past the table. We did not feel as if we were a priority. Chicken soup was okay more salt then Italian seasonings. The sweet tea was good but stop drinking after having to scrap food from outside and inside of the glass. I love Carrabbas!! The food is always delish and omg I won't even get started on the bread but it's one of my favorites! Either solo or with a friend we usually gravitate to the bar area. The bar area can get pretty busy during happy hour which is from 3-6:30 EVERYDAY! On our visit yesterday the bartender was super funny and friendly. However he wasn't very observant, we had to flag him down several times for service. The patrons on the opposite side of the bar thought our attempts to get his attention was hilarious lol. We had been there at least 30 minutes and he hadn't even asked for our meal orders. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli, I originally had to send it back because it came out with chicken on it. They were very quick in correcting and replacing my order though. Of course I ended up full off bread and drinks, so I only took about two bites of my pasta. It will surely not go to waste as it makes for great leftovers! read more

Normally I don't review chain restaurants as they usually do a good job with consistent adherence to standards established by corporate. But in the case of this location I have mention that the service here was less than I expected at a Carrabbas. The food was good, we ate outside on a beautiful evening, they have several tables outside under the portico. Prices here are competitive. They have a decent wine and beer list. But I don't think our server listened to our order real well. The significant other ordered her entree with salad and a vinaigrette dressing and broccoli on the side. When the server took my order I said same salad and side dish as my partner. When it came out she got what she ordered but mine came with a heavy Caesar salad like dressing and asparagus on the side, and to add insult to injury I had to pay up for the asparagus. Then when we were checking out we had a visa gift card and she tried to run it and she said it didn't show any value on it. When we got back to the hotel we called visa and they verified the amount we thought was on there. read more

The staff was very friendly. Our table reservation was on time and we could hold it until everyone got there. The waiter, Kareem, was very patient with us and let us use all the time we needed. Food was delicious and came on time. Our server was excellent! Everything was clean and tidy. We arrived for Saturday lunch. The restaurant was practically empty and I'm guessing it's because they don't offer a lunch menu on the weekend. Since it was the dinner menu, the food was really expensive ($20-30 per meal) and there was way too much of it for lunch. We were traveling so we couldn't take leftovers with us. Service was a little slow to start, especially to only have four people eating in the entire restaurant. After our server made it to the table, the service became phenomenal. When I travel on business, I very seldom eat at chain restaurants. When visiting Macon, I wanted to go somewhere I could walk to from the hotel. I saw a few local places which had mixed reviews. When I asked the hotel front desk attendant where to go, she mentioned Carrabba's. I was a bit skeptical thinking that I would be going to a very predictable chain restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised. I found a seat at the bar where they were still featuring happy hour drinks and apps. They were pretty busy at the time, but the bartender was prompt and very friendly. He gave me a nice pour of house red and quickly offered me a menu. I wasn't overly famished, but wanted something light, yet satisfying. Johnny Rocco salad it is!! A nice salad with scallops and shrimp (warm, not cold) and dressing on the side. The bartender said the dressing was a bit heavy and would be best on the side. I thought it was perfect. A nice basket of bread with some olive oil and spices for dipping. Very pleased with the great service and food. read more

She kept our drinks full, bread on the table and had everything coming left and right all at the right time. She came by every other minute to refill drinks or ask if we needed anything. A must stop! Headed to ATL from Savannah and decided to stop here. It was amazing! Great food and better service. Love the ambiance.

We were warmly greeted by the hostess. The hostess told us the name of our waitress. Our waitress was very inattentive and absentminded. She did No know the happy hour times. Our drinks were good. The kitchen staff brought out our bread and appetizers. We waited 15 minutes to receive bread plates, and spoon for soup. My husband's soup, mashed potatoes and broccoli were cold. I wouldn't recommend any of the rubbery tuff steak to anyone. My Mahi was delicious. Good place for drinks and appetizers, but cannot recommend the beef and pork entrees. We paid for our meals and the waitresses didn't thank us for coming or returned back to our table. She took the gift card and cash and disappeared. Worst experience ever! read more

Let me start by saying this review is based on the wine event I attended not so much the food. I attended the monthly ($40) wine pairing event and let me say first...oh boy oh boy, there was plenty to go around. We started off with a riesling for the first course paired with a harvest salad. The riesling was nice, as well as the salad. Second course was a pinot noir paired with butternut squash ravioli, I was not the biggest fan of either. The ravioli lacked flavor and sauce I had to add some pesto olive oil to it. Third course was C's chicken involitini paired with Banfi Centine Super Tuscan...The wine was delicious, however I was not the biggest fan of the entree. The chicken and broccoli needed something extra to help them out. Thirst course was a Malbec and cannoli. I passed on the cannoli but the Malbec was delicious! We went today for my mothers birthday as it's a the halfway spot for both of us. The service was very nice! They weren't too busy for noon on a Saturday, we had no wait time ourselves and the hostess was nice. Our service was also very nice and patient with us as we were catching up. We all ordered various pastas and one steak (wasn't cooked quite to what was asked for but it was thick and still good). Absolute disappointment from nearly every part of our two-party delivery order. Spaghetti only comes with sauce, and not much of it - it's just mostly dry noodles that were overcooked and tasted bland. We paid $3.49 extra for meatballs and extra sauce...and only received TWO meatballs with a mountain of noodles, and approximately 2 tablespoons of "meat sauce," which tasted bland and unseasoned. Absolutely unacceptable for a nearly $20 entree of spaghetti and meatballs. The calamari was good but we were charged to an entree of it according to our ticket. We ordered the linguini pesto with shrimp, but it showed up without a single shrimp in it (we were given a $5 credit on the $20 meal for this mistake). The noodles were not cooked correctly - the water was obviously not salted so the noodles were bland and over-cooked. We didn't receive any bread or herb and oil for dipping, which is always a given whether dining in, take-out, or delivery. We used to love Carrabba's but their food quality and quantity has continued to go downhill for a few years now. This was our last attempt to get a good meal from them and they failed, again. For the price, you can get MUCH better food, and quality ingredients, from other restaurants in town. We DO NOT recommend Carrabba's anymore. read more

Carrabba's has updated their dining room floor plan in an effort to add more tables it seems. We only had to wait about 10-15 minutes which wasn't bad for a Saturday night. Our server Jayla was amazing! She was fast in delivering our drinks, bread, salads, etc. She was very bubbly and smiling a lot which really made for a great night! Jayla is a fantastic server! Ordered at 6:10, website said it would be ready shortly, then my husband waited in their carry out parking lot for more than an hour. We used to like this place but our past couple meals have really been mediocre. I do however, love the bread & olive oil pesto.

I'll preface by saying I see some folks on here that leave nothing but bad reviews, I am not one of those people as a majority of mine are positive. Curbside experience: Placed my order at 6:35p for scheduled pick up at 7:45. At 7:50 I arrived and parked. No one acknowledged I was there for 5 min or more. Around 7:55p, another car pulls into the lot and right up to the door rather than a parking spot. The employee comes out and goes directly to their vehicle, gets information, goes back in, brings them their food, and then their seemed to be an additional hold up with their form of payment. By 8p I walked into the restaurant. There was no other employee working the curbside area, so I had to wait for her to come back in at which point I explained that she had completely ignored me. I had pre paid online, so I asked her to give me my order and she did. I get back to my car to realize the Parmesan cheese and butter I had requested were not in the bag. Back in to request that. 7 additional minutes waiting for those items to be told they didn't have any butter but provided the cheese. Not sure how an Italian restaurant doesn't have butter, but am sure that curbside shouldn't take 20 minutes. The above is either poor training or a lack of attentiveness. In a market where the only thing that separates you from your competition is service, the experience I was provided failed miserably. Just as unfortunate is that the food was actually great and had the service not been horrible I would have given them 5 stars with a great review. read more

We had the absolute BEST service from Tim, our server, today. He was extremely attentive and thoughtful in every way. Going out to eat with a one year old is usually stressful but Tim made everything flow smoothly. He brought extra bread for our daughter, brought her food out first because she was getting antsy, and immediately helped us with an accidental spill. He did everything with a smile and never once let our drinks get low. I also noticed he was helping other tables and all of his other tables seem d just as well taken care of. Went in around 5 pm and order the fettuccine with chicken and the noodles were soggy and the sauce was soupy. My four year old granddaughter said that the fettuccine was not good.
