Not as pleased as we once were with our visit here. The value is really slipping. Service was amazing, not one thing could be improved in that area. Chicken Bryan has been our go to for years and the portions were noticeably smaller this time around. It's a chicken breast and mashed potatoes! Sure it's fancied up but these aren't highly priced ingredients and charging $25.99 now seems like they've jumped a line we don't want to cross over. Probably our last visit. Door Dash brought my order it was still very hot And fresh tasting you can tell it was truly cooked to order. The pasta noodles in the Alfredo dish was so fresh soft buttery tasting the sauce glides with the noodles the capers and tomatoes were not noticeable unless eating all together the shrimp was having a shrimpy kinda day but an overall great meal. The way they package my order was truly with care. I have everything I need and more. This was my first time having this restaurants food and I don't know why I didn't try it sooner. We came for Father's Day dinner. They have an amazing deal going on Friday through Sunday . It's a 3 course meal for $45 . Oh so delicious. I had their house salad, chicken Marsala with garlic mashed potatoes and Tiramisu for dessert to share. The food was delicious. The bread was fresh. I love the fresh herb spices with oil. The service was good. There was a delay in how long it took to get our meal as one of their chefs walked out on them. But whomever they had that took over more than made up for it. They outshined themselves with the taste of the food. The restaurant was pretty busy yet everyone seemed to be enjoying their time. It was clean and the temperature was set perfectly. We stop here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Restaurants was not busy at all. We got seated right away. It has been awhile since I have been here. It is a nice casual atmosphere. Much nicer than I remember it. Warm crusty bread was served while we wait for our entrees. I ordered there linguine with seafood which had shrimps, scallop and mussels. We have gone to Carrabbas for years but this is the first time I've reviewed it. I took my husband for a Birthday dinner and we were seated promptly around 7:30 pm. Our waiter, whose name was Gray, was a good server. He made sure to check on us and also double checked to make sure what items were gluten free. He also boxed our takeout food and was pleasant. We showed up at 6pm, and the staff did not care we had a reservation and proceeded to make us wait for 15 minutes while there were open tables everywhere. We ordered 6 different meals and only one person was satisfied. Bland, no flavor. At one point we waited 10+ minutes for drink refills after asking twice for them. All 6 drinks were empty. Went to the wine dinner. In my opinion, it was not a good experience. It was very crowded and very noisy in a group setting with no private tables. The food was good except for the steak. A 10 oz sirloin that was tough and had no flavor. The wine was just ok, nothing special. Service was very slow. Two servers trying to take care of about forty guests. We won't be doing that again. We had stopped by a couple weeks earlier on a Sunday afternoon for a glass of wine and some appetizers at the bar and everything was excellent. read more

Hadn't been to Carrabba's since Covid. Visited on a Thurs night & the crowd was light. As you entered received fresh warm bread with olive oil on the side - it was very good. Ordered Chicken Trio and the Italian salad. The salad was was full sized, freshly made and again was very good. The Chicken dish came with the three most popular chicken selections. Each was unique on its own and all were delicious. That might they had a To Go special of any entree of the same price, or less, of your meal - for $10. We had a gorgeous afternoon to enjoy Carrabba's patio seating. Complete with upbeat jazzy music coming over the speakers! OFF MENU TIP: it's nowhere to be found, but you HAVE to try the Scotty Thompson! It's an appetizer consisting of red pomodoro sauce, four slices of fresh, warm goat cheese and toasted bread slices. The combo of the creaminess, the acid of the tomatoes and the crunch of the crusty bread is worth every cent, every calorie and every every moment of your time! Now for some salt... the two menu items I tried were pretty salty. The lentil and sausage soup (salty but delicious) and the four cheese & sausage stuffed mushrooms (the mushrooms were great, it was the tomato cream sauce that was so salty). What a disappointing visit. Service was inattentive. Food was very slow. They had to reach around our stacked salad plates to get the entrees on the table and then didn't clear the dishes. My husband had to put them on another table so we'd have room to eat. The food was pretty blah for the price point and the most expensive dish we ordered was by far and away the smallest entree served. We don't eat out often because it's so expensive and it was a disappointment to spend so much of our budget on such a blah experience. I can't thank the staff at Carrabba's enough for their hospitality, knowledge, and service. We started off our night with a drink off the happy hour menu (great beer, wine, and spirits options), and really enjoyed the house red wine. For dinner, we had a variety of food and drink pairings, and I assure you our glasses and plates were never empty! I think the Chicken Bryan was my favorite dish but the Bruschette Scotty Thompson and Mozzarella Marinara we're also to die for. And last but not least... the Chocolate Dream cake! Having been to Carrabba's recently for a promotional event, I wanted to take the opportunity to try out more of their menu. What better time for an intimate lunch than a late season Christmas-shopping Saturday afternoon? The bar area makes for an excellent midday dining option, and Matthew did an outstanding job of tending both the bar and to the few patrons who were in the bar area. After serving us bread and creating dipping oil, we were able to enjoy a glass of Chardonnay and order from the regular menu. We decided to share one of the signature dishes on the menu, called Chicken Bryan, which is a delightfully wood-grilled chicken breast topped with goat cheese, a lemony sauce, and sun-dried tomatoes. The sauce had just enough lemon, and was not quite a piccata, so not tart but more complementary. The chicken was perfectly grilled, which can be tricky with a cut that has little fat. We chose to pair the dish with their garlic mashed potatoes, which were good but not amazing, and were a solid sidekick to the chicken. I also opted for a bowl of their sausage and lentil soup, which was a touch spicy but very tasty. Overall, Carrabba's is delivering very good fare in a wry nice atmosphere coupled with really excellent service. The value for what is served is equally matched, and you are not likely to leave hungry nor disappointed. Side note: a table near us had expressed mild dismay with their dish, but not until approached by the very friendly manager on duty. I was not totally surprised when the manager offered to not only replace the dish with something else on the menu, but to compensate them totally for their lack of satisfaction. It's very refreshing to see an establishment, especially one that is part of a chain, empower their personnel to truly deliver quality dining experiences. It's another reason that I will be back to Carrabba's in the very near future. read more

It's been awhile since we've last been into Carrabas. When they first opened and for many years after we were regular patrons; so much so that we were in a 1st name basis with Mike (who was the proprietor at the time) and recognized by many of the staff. We had noticed prior to today that the interior was looking a bit dated and the seating a little worn out. It appears some updating work has been done since then, but more is still needed to be a go-to-place interior wise. They do need to work on the ambiance by toning down the lighting so it doesn't look so cafeteria-like. It's not the same generous welcome when you arrive as in years past, but we were acknowledged fairly well when asking for a table. There was a bit of a delay in having our server arrive, but once Blake M introduced himself to us we had great service. The food and drinks were the same quantity and quality we've come to expect from Carrabas. We had the Italian Old Fashion & Pomegranate Martini cocktails. We both tried new dishes for us: Champagne Pasta with Shrimp (a new spring special) and Shrimp and Scallop Linguine alla Vodka. After already having our soup, salad, bread we couldn't eat as much of our pasta. So... Sunday leftovers for us! read more

Usually my favorite restaurant for a good juicy steak. Went yesterday, seated promptly, server was friendly and took our order quickly. Not much of a wait to get the soup and salad. Both were delicious. Received our entrees. Vegetable ravioli was delicious. Second entree the asparagus was delicious and the penne pompadora was delicious. The expensive steak the 7 oz filet was over cooked and tough. Server mentioned when she came by that most steaks are being cooked wrong. Why don't they have someone who knows how to cook a steak medium rare? Only come here once a year due to the expense but don't plan on coming again. I can get a steak cooked properly for half the price at Texas Roadhouse. read more

The chicken cut was thin and more fat than meat - it actually was crunchy when I chewed it. My side was an order of penne pasta and there was so much water on my plate, I was afraid it was going to slosh all my food onto the table. It was my birthday, so I also ordered a red wine sangria and the glass was stuffed with so much ice I could barely drink it. Drink was watered down and there was more ice than liquid. Service was also not the best. The server would not make eye contact and we had a hard time understanding her. With higher food prices and the cost of dining out going up so much, it's a treat to eat out these days. Right as I walked in this older gentleman who was the host was at the ready to help me. He got me a meanie and a server to take my togo order! He was such a gem and so sweet. I ordered the Mezzaluna Ravioli. A half moon ravioli with a creamy cheese blend, chicken, spinach and an orange tomato sauce. It needed more spinach and I honestly forgot there was chicken in it, must of been shredded. I got the salad and bread with it, good golly the Parmesan dressing and the herb seasoning for the bread made the whole trip worth it! Yum! read more

Ok, I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants and my dinner at Carrabba's isn't going to change that notion. First of all, we put our name on the "waiting list" on the Carrabba's website for 5:30pm. We showed up at 5:25pm and told there would be a 20 minute wait. I walked to the bathroom and counted 20 open tables. Why did we have to wait and what's the point of having a waitlist (I think it's a ruse to gather email addresses). On to the food. My salad had lettuce in it that was way past its prime. Our main dishes were fine, not great, no real specific complaints there. On to dessert, the cheesecake was just awful. You could tell it had been around way, way to long. This seems to be a poorly run establishment all the way around from the front of house to the food quality. There are better Italian options around town. read more

It saddens me to know that I have to work and raisr 7 children instead of just sitting here and continue to gently stuff as much of this as I can into my mouth. Salad and bread... awesome. Entrees were so bad that it was kind of funny. Just overcooked soggy noodles and plain white Alfredo with no flavor. Brought home to my three yr old and it's perfect for her. Took exactly one hour fifteen minutes to get our entrees, 5pm on a Saturday. I had a great experience at Carrabba's Italian Grill . I was able to enjoy a four course meal with different pairings of wine and blackberry sangria. My favorite first course meal was the Scotty Thompson. The sauce was really good and it was topped with the best goat cheese. The second course was the house salad . As simple as it look the dressing tasted amazing it was full of a mozzarella cheese flavor. The third course was the chicken Bryan. This chicken was full of flavor and it was a zesty lemon butter sauce and to top that off goat cheese. The final course was the best .
