Redheaded Stranger next to glorious texas roadhouse roll
    Nia Z.

I was on the road again when I found myself here at Texas Roadhouse the rolls were so good they are always on my mind! I was wondering how much do they cost but they are free! The tater skins were so good they had my blue eyes cryin in the rain! Don't get me started on my steak... it was so good seven spanish angels took me straight to Heaven!!! I had to pause halfway through my meal to just breathe in the city of new orleans! The steak fries upset my stomach so much that when I got home I experienced THE ring of fire but I'm still not dead. I was placed in the willie nelson corner of the restaurant which made me stay a little longer! Overall me and Paul had a great time and I'd have to be crazy to not leave a 5 star review, anyway time to ride me back home.

We love Texas Roadhouse. The food is always consistently tasty! This location does get crowded on weekends so I highly recommend going onto the Texas Roadhouse website and getting on the waitlist before you want to go. The staff is always friendly and the service is very attentive. There aren't many places you can get a steak that's tasty and well priced. If we forget to pick something up for dinner, we always go to Texas Roadhouse for a delicious meal!

A buddy and I went here mid-week for dinner. As usual, there was an hour wait (this is Texas Roadhouse), so we ran up the street to do some shopping at Lowe's while waiting. Wait time was about the time they said it was, so they have that down to a science. The Staff was friendly and engaged with us and the rest of the customers. At one point, a song came on, and a bunch of the staff went over to do a line dance in the middle of the restaurant. I'm not sure what that was about; no one paid any obvious attention to it, nor was there ever any explanation. So Free Show! Our Food was cooked perfectly. And the rolls kept coming! Great Job to the TR staff!

We came on Easter Sunday 2025 and were very impressed. The staff were organized and efficient, including our waitress. She was kind and attentive without being overbearing, and made accommodations for us that improved our experience greatly. The beef tips and steak were a bit overcooked and the mac & cheese was under-salted. Other than that, the food was all very good! Everything was nice and hot. The rolls are obviously a standout but the chicken dishes (herb-crusted and smothered) were both great! It was very busy and pretty loud. It didn't detract from our enjoyment, but certainly something to consider before you go. Overall, great experience! 4.5/5 stars.

Texas Roadhouse is just a staple in the community. You can't expect to go there and just "get a table" you got to be ready to wait an hour, 2 hours, 4 hours.... (Recommend putting your name on the waitlist online before) but boy howdy is it worth the wait... Whether it's the large ice cold beers, endless rolls where they will send you home with two to-go boxes full of em, or just the consistently good salads, steaks, and sides. For the price this is a go to favorite for a good steak. Also the atmosphere takes you right back to country two stepping dance hall. Everyone is there to have a good time and eat so much that you need to plan your next day accordingly. Only recommendation is they need more wheelchairs so you can get wheeled out after a hearty meal.

Such a fun place for datenight on a Friday night! They were packed but we got seated pretty quickly. We came here solely for the complimented warm soft buns with the cinnamon butter. But tonight, the 20z bone-in ribeye was the winner. It was cooked perfectly. Perfect red color and seasoning. Not too salty or overcooked. Just perfect.

Food- excellent Service - good Ambiance - loud steakhouse with peanut shells all over the floor. Got a 6oz fillet (medium) and a skewer of shrimp with a sw.potato tonight. They really try to push you to get 2 sides and I wasn't having that. Drinks are good and not overpriced. Steak was cooked perfectly, shrimp had nice seasoning on it, sweet potato was tasty too! Even with this "simple meal" taking some tasty leftovers home

5 oz. Salmon Dinner with Veggies and Seasoned Rice - Mmm!
    Steve D.

I was impressed with the first-rate service, the reasonable prices, the complimentary warm rolls with scrumptious, whipped, cinnamon honey butter and the delicious meal during my dine-in lunch visit. The 5 oz. salmon dinner ($15.49) was served 15 minutes after I ordered at the bar, where the service was cheerful, knowledgeable, and efficient. It included my choice of two sides, a large lemon wedge and tasty tartar sauce. The seasoned rice and fresh veggies were generously sized, while the seasoned rice was especially delicious. I liked the spacious, well-divided, wood-toned interior with country background music and a bar area surrounded by booths with nine TVs. I wish they were open for lunch M-F and offered lunch specials. Also, I didn't see a happy hour menu. Overall, very good!

It definitely gives "I was formally a sports bar that was hap hazardly put together to try to pass off as an upscale restaurant." It feels cold and unwelcoming in a way. The music over head was barely audible adding to the sterile feel of the space. So bottom line for me, I liked the food well enough, but with the ambiance and service lacking, I won't return.

Several dishes were overly salted, and the Caesar salad was especially sad--wilted lettuce and lacking freshness. The restaurant was very crowded, but not adequately staffed to handle the volume. Service was slow throughout the night, and they ran out of items on the Restaurant Week menu. I was served melted sorbet and had to send it back. Our dinner took nearly three hours, largely due to long stretches of waiting to be served or checked on. Busy nights are understandable, but the lack of pacing and execution really took away from what could have been a much better experience. They had a jazz band playing which was a nice experience. If you go, ask for a table on the right. We were on the left side and about frozen every time the front doors opened, which was a lot while the band was bringing in their equipment.

My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here a few weeks ago, and had a great experience!…read more We made a reservation for a Friday evening during primetime. We were seated on time at a table next to the bar-side of the dining room. Speaking of the dining room, it's a nice, if standard size for a strip-mall space, but I really appreciated that the tables were not stacked on top of each other, as seems to be the case at more and more places these days. It felt like there might be some chance of our entire conversation not being completely overheard by our neighbors, which was nice for a change! Our waitress was fantastic! She walked us through the menu, the restaurant's approach to cooking and seasonality, some of her faves, and made wonderful recommendations! We decided to split a few small plates, which was a great approach! We got to try about 1/3 of the small plate menu, and loved it all! It was all great, but the Black Cardamom Burnt Ends are NOT to be missed! It made my cardamom-loving, Midwest soul very, very happy indeed! The space is a really nice size - not massive or overwhelming - and with the shades drawn down (to seal out the late afternoon sun, thank goodness!) and dim lighting, the mood vibes were solid for a romantic anniversary dinner! The other ambiance item of note is that the restroom corridor smelled absolutely fantastic! Upon investigation, it was due to a burning candle from a lovely local-KC company that was custom made for the restaurant! Yes, they're for sale, and yes, we picked up two! While everything was lovely and the food was very good, you're definitely paying a high price for it. Not that it's not deserved, but the "value" feels aren't necessarily "off the charts", by any means. And that is really my only critique, if there is any at all! Make reservations because they had a two hour wait for walk-ins. For appetizers we shared their burnt ends. Tender and sauced perfectly. For dinner we shared a wedge salad, their mashed potatoes, asparagus (a must!), and their tomahawk steak! Instead of doing three separate steaks we did the one and it was a perfect size for all of us to share! The steak was tender and well seasoned, mashed potatoes creamy, and the asparagus was prepared in a way we hadn't had before - highly recommend! We also had their dessert lemon meringue pie and coconut cream pie! Really really good! Wine options: amazing! Bourbon options: classy! We couldn't give it five stars for two main reason: 1. We made a reservation for 7pm, arrived and check in at 6:50 and still had to wait just over 30 minutes to be seated. We learned that walk-ins had been seated ahead of us so we needed to wait for some tables to leave before we could be seated. This was a bit surprising. We understand waiting a few minutes, but 30 min is not okay. 2. The sweet server assisting us for dinner was in training and we learned from her "trainer" that she wouldn't be getting any of the tips from our dinner. Additionally, the "trainer" came over around 830 to tell us that although it was only three of us that gratuity is automatically included. Very odd that we were told these things during our meal. The server being trained should absolutely get a portion of the tips - we hope restaurant management reconsiders their policy on this especially since we hardly saw her "trainer". We normally tip over the 20% but because the trainer didn't get any of our tips, we opted to not increase the tip that was automatically charged to us. All in all really classy restaurant and food was delicious! We'll be back for sure!

The space was nice and clean, but unfortunately, the service and the "famous" main course didn't quite deliver a stellar performance. Our table was split--some wanted dinner, some wanted dessert. This apparently threw our waiter into a state of deep existential confusion. The Food: I ordered their "famous" fried chicken, customizing it to three thighs (which came with homemade pickles and a fantastic ham gravy). For $24, it wasn't bad, but it's definitely not "famous" for flavor--maybe just famous for the price tag. Honestly, I could have filled up at Popeyes for a fraction of the cost. Surprisingly, the absolute star of my meal was the side of sautéed mushrooms. It came with little pearl onions, shallots, and green peas. I topped it with some of my friend's arugula to make it fancy, and it was delicious. The Service (or lack thereof): Here's where it went downhill. The dessert order became a saga. Those who ordered sweets expected them to arrive with the mains, but we had to ask several times just to get them toward the end of the meal. By the end, our waiter seemed completely frustrated with our existence. He aggressively boxed up the remaining desserts and semi-forcefully shoved the credit card machine into our faces to shuffle us out the door. Great mushrooms, aggressive math at the end. Proceed with caution.

Our server brought out our food when we weren't even halfway through our salads. He apologized because he knew he was early, but by the time we got to our entrées, they were cold. A great, or even good steakhouse would never do that. The food quality was average or below, and the service was about the same. If you're looking for mediocrity, you can find it here. The scampi had a generous portion of good size shrimp. The pork chop was very thick and large yet was very flavorful and tender. The pork chop came with mashed potatoes and seasoned vegetables. However, in looking over the menu I saw they had a variety of sides. I asked if I could change me sides, which they were more than glad to do. I got the carrots and the cornbread. The carrots were delicious and there was a lot of them. The cornbread tasted good but was a little dry. Next time I would stay with the carrots but try something else. As I said the pork chop was very big and I took about half of it home. When I placed my order the waiter asked if I wanted to order a second pork chop, which I passed on. However, next time I may take him up on the offer and have an additional one to take home. All around I give it 5 stars. Also, we asked about desert. There was no desert menu nor a desert tray to help us make a decision. The waiter did rattle off the desert options, however this was kind of busy to follow. A desert menu or try would certainly go a lot further, as far as we are concerned. In summary, the food was outstanding, the service was very good and the atmosphere was pleasant.

I wasn't sure what to expect as I tend to be a bit weary of chain restaurants. I have to say though, this one had a really nice vibe and I get why people like it here. First of all, it's a nice restaurant with elevated vibes. It reminded me of places I used to go with my grandparents as a kid. It had great service, comfortable seating, and a nice menu. If anything it just feels like it caters to an older crowd - nothing wrong with that, just not my usual vibe. For brunch that day I had the migas and it was really great. Tons of food, and I easily made two meals out of my lunch. Something to note about the menus though is that they don't have a kids menu. They did share items for kids that they have on hand, but no physical menu to look at so not sure the prices or anything. Our daughter had a hamburger and she loved it so that was a win. One plus was she was able to get a side of fruit instead of fries, which was a win for her since she has declared that she only likes McDonald's french fries these days. Overall this is a nice sit restaurant with table service that has an elevated and sophisticated vibe. Likely geared towards older generations but younger folks will find plenty to enjoy here as well.
