Unknown items found in the chocolate stampede.

The food (salmon, shrimp, broccoli, salad, and bread) and service was good. We ordered the Chocolate Stampede, however, and it had a couple inedible pieces of rubber/silicone/??? in the cake. It was in the portion we took home. Seems like they need better control in the kitchen so that non-food items don't end up in the food.

    Patr-n Dragon Fruit Margarita

I came here for a birthday party and I really enjoyed my experience. I hadn't been to Longhorn in years so it was almost like a first visit. I got the patron dragonfruit margarita and I can confidently say, that's the best drink I've ever had.. plus it came with a refill and a half. My meal was absolutely perfect and delicious. Our waiter was kind and friendly and although it was a Saturday night and packed parking lot, it didn't feel like it on the inside. It was too small or too loud.. kinda like a chill vibe. I will definitely be back!

Hand-Crafted Lemonades + Outlaw Ribeye and Seasoned French Fries

It was our first time at this location and we were treated very well! We went in the early evening, so we were sat pretty quickly before the dinner rush started. Our waiter was very nice and informative of all the options and questions we had. I tried their new Mango Lemonade and it's so good. The food tasted looked and tasted AMAZING! Overall the place was great with good looks and service. Plan to come to this location again when we're back in town!

6 ounce fillet with seasoned rice

This afternoon, my husband and I tried out this location. We were seated immediately, and the restaurant was clean. Our server was good and I appreciated that she took the initiative to bring me a menu for celiac issues after I mentioned having it. My husband had the ribeye, sweet potato, and house salad and he said his meal was excellent. I had the 6 ounce fillet, seasoned rice, and Caesar salad salad without croutons. My salad was rather dry and had some old lettuce in it. The rice was somewhat dry as well and the fillet was cooked well and tender, but the seasoning was extremely spicy with too much pepper. I actually could not finish eating it. We did not choose to have the bread at the table.

The chopped steak is a favorite of mine when I'm in the mood for mashed potatoes. Everything was piping hot and delicious. I also had the house salad. The hot bread w/butter is a nice starter. You walk away stuffed. My service was fast and friendly. For a Sunday around 1 pm it wasn't too noisy.

Longhorn is close to work, and when I'm working late it's an easy go-to, because it's open later than most restaurants in this part of suburbia. It's nothing really special, but I'm always full and happy when I leave. Lovelovelove the bread they serve with their artichoke dip appetizer, and the Brussels sprouts side is divine.

You can't beat the steak for the price. Great value. I usually get the ribeye with a loaded baked potato and a Caesar salad

My husband enjoyed it more than I. I found the food to be salty and the fresh asparagus way overcooked.

We also went with the ONION RING TOWER which consists of onion rings served with ranch or Cajun horseradish dipping sauce. The Cajun is the way to go. Next we the wings, which have a wide variety of sauce options, we went with, MANGO HABANERO which is a very Tangy-sweet with a habanero heat, and the HELL'S FURY which is enough ghost peppers to blow your top. Flaming hot to say the least and not for the faint of heart. I selected the JALAPEÑO CREAM CHEESE Burger, which is a prime Wagyu beef patty topped with jalapeño cream cheese spread, peppered bacon, and pepper jack cheese on a brioche bun. It was moist cooked just right with a light sear. Perfection. My wife opted for the SICKIES BURGER which is a burger topped with Peppered bacon, fried egg, pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and American cheese, topped with onion rings and a splash of hot sauce. We conclude with one of their shakes, and they have several options to choose from, Banana, Butterscotch, Chocolate, Coffee, Oreo®, Raspberry, Strawberry, and Vanilla. I went with the Raspberry and my wife sent with the Oreo. Both were very filling. The staff is very accommodating and attentive that matched with a 1950s dinner vibe, it is a relaxing welcoming environment and this both enjoyable and comfortable. If you are thur the area you are sure to come away full. Highly recommend this place, it will not disappoint.

Tater kegs were good, taste and size-wise. But we wound up hardly eating much of the fried pickles. They were drowned in salt, so much so even the ranch couldn't compensate or cover it up. My wife got the unlimited wings. She tried three different flavor of wings, all very salty to the taste. Sweet Chili, the Popping Pineapple and the Teriyaki. And the teriyaki really didn't taste like teriyaki at all. My daughter had the veggie burger, and she said it was very salty. I ordered the deviled eggs and the jalapeno creamed corn. The deviled eggs were good; filling was a little runnier than I usually like in a deviled egg. The jalapeno creamed corn had some good spice, but another dish that had entirely too much salt in it. When my wife and first got there to get the table for our party, the host asked if we had the app. We did not, he instructed us how to download it, and told us we'd be getting an email for a free burger. He also told us about the 20% off "Vintage" discount for seniors, of which I am one. At the end of our meal, the server (who was really cool, by the way) gave us our bill, which totalled with tax $165 plus some change. I told him I was a senior and wanted the vintage discount. He brought in iPad over, entered a couple things and brought us a new bill. I glanced at it and it said $163 and some change. So I walked after him and asked him if I paid up front and that's where they gave the discount. He said no you pay me and I did give you the discount. Sure enough, on the receipt, it was saying vintage discount......$2.60. Now I use math in my head every day for work as an air traffic controller, so it didn't take me long to figure out $2.60 is WAY BELOW 20% off of $165. I was looking for some fine print somewhere that might explain this particular math conundrum. Couldn't find anything. I was going to find our server or a manager, but the family was ready to go, and since it was a birthday my wife didn't want me to make an issue of it, so we left. Not happy with the liberal usage of salt in everything, and with today's prices, especially not happy with the issue with the discount that was about 18% short. Probably won't be back.

Burger night (Mondays?) is $2 off the specialty burgers, and I recommend that Diablo Burger if you like a little heat. You can get in and out with a couple of burgers and a couple of drinks during special time for around $45 and that's a pretty good deal with a better value to boot. Whether tucked into the historic, vibrant bones of Midtown or settled into the polished, sun-drenched sanctuary of Leawood, this establishment is a triumph of spirit and soil. To walk through their doors is to leave behind the weary frantic pace of the modern day and step into a vision curated by the inimitable Robin and her team, who possess the rare, alchemical gift of artistic gastronomic genius. Every dish is a poem composed in color and texture, a testament to the idea that nourishment should be as beautiful as it is vital. The design itself--characterized by clean, confident lines and a minimalist elegance that whispers rather than shouts--acts as the perfect frame for their culinary masterpieces. It is a space that breathes, inviting the sunlight to dance across the table while the soul is quieted by the integrity of the ingredients. I have made it a point of honor to traverse the entirety of their menu at both locations, a delicious journey that has never once faltered.
