Carrabba's is DELICIOUS and a favorite place for my family to celebrate! No visit is complete without their delicious calamari and stuffed mushrooms (you can almost fill up on those alone). For entrees, I highly recommend the Pollo Rosa Maria and the Pistachio Crusted Trout, although I've eaten all the entrees at least once and there is nothing on this menu not to like. Service amazing Rhett was my server so accommodating since I have seafood allergies. I ordered Toscana filet minus shrimp yet extra beef protein. Im so glad my server was precise of my allergies and dish was seafood free just tad over cooked pasta, if not id score 5 stars. Service 5 stars. Ari was our server. Have to also shoutout Angie who checked in on us. Both ladies were so kind especially to my energy filled kiddos. And they both signed with my daughter. Thank you. Ari was very attendance and made sure we enjoyed our time. Appetizer: The calamari was not my favorite. It was just too much pepper for me. Entrees: The kids really enjoyed their mac and cheese and chicken tenders. I enjoyed the veggie ravioli. Flavorful! Desert: Kids devoured it before I got a chance to take a pic. Went here for a large party and the experience changed my thoughts in a positive way on Carrabbas. The service was really good! They handled the large party well and made sure everyone had everything they need and there were no issues when it came time to pay. As for the food, the lasagna and the wings were really tasty. Excellent customer service from literally everyone! We had a large party, and they really took care of us. I can't complain at all. Our food came it in a timely manner, and tasted really good. They have a deal for $45 where 2 people get a salad/soup, entrees, and a dessert. I think the deal is worth it except having to pay $3 more for fettuccine Alfredo. The bread is amazing as well. Excellent waitress and the Linguini Positano with Shrimp was excellent! My wife and I went there for a late lunch before going to our hotel later on that evening! The portion sizes were bountiful and made it necessary to carry some of it to our hotel room for later! Quite the experience. My wife ordered a filet that came out very rare (red all the way through). We never send food back but had no choice. It took five minutes to find a server who took it back. It comes back and it's still red all the way the through. Like visibly in the part she had cut through. They left her the sides while "reheating" it and those were terribly cooked. 10 years ago I thought this place was going under. We haven't been since. We were recently invited to dinner by some friends and we can't get over how awesome of a night we had! Renovated! This isn't a 5 star restaurant by any stretch but the service we got was remarkable. For the style restaurant, it was perfect. Everything was timely, hot and just as advertised. We were impressed by how involved the FOH manager was. She was pleasant, on the ball & did a great job advertising and explaining the monthly 4 course meal you can be apart of! Server was pleasant. I've been eating at Carrabba's pretty frequently for about 20 years. It was always one of my favorite Italian restaurants. I almost always get the Pollo Rosa Maria. Carrabba's has always been a little expensive but you used to get a decent amount of food and it was at least a good value because I could eat half of my meal and be full and have the rest the next day. I just went back for the first time in over a year. This is the longest I've ever gone without going there. Now what they are serving as Pollo Rosa Maria is essentially two glorified grilled chicken tenders. There is basically no cheese and only a tiny sliver of ham that is barely visible in them. These used to have cheese oozing out of them and you could clearly see the ham when you cut into them. I wish I had taken a picture to add here. This is the biggest disappointment in portion size I have ever experienced in a restaurant. I ate my whole meal and didn't have any left to take home which is something I never have done at Carrabba's. I paid over $25 for two chicken tenders and some mashed potatoes? The only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1 is because the service was still very good and restaurant itself was very clean, but I will not be going back again with these prices and portion sizes. read more

Upon arrival, the front-of-house staff failed to greet or welcome us. Regardless of their hosting duties, a courteous acknowledgement is expected. Our waiter's service was notably slow, leading to delays in the delivery of items. Specifically, our salad arrived concurrently with our main course. Furthermore, I experienced a five-minute wait for a water refill and bread. They tried multiple times to deliver out drinks and appetizers to the other tables. Notably, the restaurant was not busy, making these delays unjustifiable. My experiences at the Durham location have been consistently excellent, with dishes prepared to perfection. Unfortunately, the Raleigh location fell short, serving bland food and experiencing mishaps, including spilled cheese and drink upon delivery. Our server also took an inordinate amount of time to provide our checks, despite our meals being completed. The holiday berry merry martini was the sole redeeming aspect of our visit. The Manager Barbara came by and saved the experience! She was so pleasant to speak with. We shared our experience and she was very open minded and apologetic. read more

I came here on a Friday for lunch. Waited probably 2 minutes until I had to get a workers attention to seat me. I ordered the lunch special which was a meatball sub with a choice of either soup or salad. I chose the chicken noodle soup, but ended up with the lentil soup instead , no biggie it was good. I really like Carrabba's because the food is consistently Good no matter where you go to eat at their restaurants. So if I am out of town and there is one close by I go there. I have not been eating out much because I don't know what's going on in these restaurants but its been disappointing. I have not been to a Carrabas in at least two years but we were out and about and needed to eat and hubby wanted to go. I will say the food was great and the service was amazing. I am pescatarian and losing weight these days and do I was worried about an Italian menu on a diet. But they had a few light options. Thank you Carrabba! Call me when you offer the bread and olive oil with zero calories okay? I had to watch my husband devour the bread. Ugh!!!! Was a painfull experience for sure! BUT..Nothing taste as good as thin feels right? Lies! I bet that bread was good AF! Anyway....I have to say the Salmon was amazing. It was light with a heck of a lot of flavor. LOVED THAT!!!! Husband had a shrimp/scallop pasta, forgot the name of it, but it was great and he enjoyed it with his friggin bread and olive oil. I wanted to smack that crap out of his hand so bad!! As you all know by know, prices are up, portions are down sooooo gonna take a star off for that reason. I get the pandemic and inventory issues but, I cannot absorb those costs. The salad was REAL small like..is that the child's side salad cuz I wanted the adult size? I love salad and ordered another for 5.00 and it was still childish but she likes what she likes. The entrees were expensive for what you got on your plate. Like the picture of my dish was a healthy salmon filet and well the actual dish was not quite that robust. BUT it was enough, hell I am on a diet. And to be clear thats all restaurants on the portion/cost whine, so not bashing just Carrabba for that drama. Its just I can eat at home like I am doing more these days. Cuz yes she cooks well and so does the husband. Just sometimes you don't want to. The lay out is a bit weird with the kitchen walk up accessible to even customers on the way to the restrooms and the seating is weirdly spaced. The yellowed aesthetics with random paintings isn't all that appealing. That being said, the service was absolutely attentive and on point. My family had a big order and every meal came out so delicious! 32 oz. Steak with asparagus, fettuccine Alfredo, calamari, and a 7 oz steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Service for our group of thirteen was terrible. Some food was not served until we were leaving. Soups and salads were not served until long after entrees were finished. Some entrees and soups were cold. In all fairness to the servers, it was not their fault. They did the best they could. We were at the restaurant at noon. We had called to let them know that we were coming and were told that they did not take reservations. When we arrived there was obviously much confusion getting tables moved and getting us seated. Everyone serving us had other duties. Then we get to the topic of the food as described above. The problem revolves around their reservation problem. In the case of larger groups they should take the information for the group and make arrangements accordingly. As an example, we were told that there was only one person preparing soups and salads for the entire restaurant, thus causing them to be served after the food coming from the kitchen. I would imagine that all this would cause disruption to the rest of the customers in the restaurant, especially since our servers were also serving other tables. I can't imagine that this was the first time this problem has occurred. If they would only take reservations for larger groups, this visit could have been an excellent experience. Again let me say that it was no server's fault. All employees were kind, polite, and most courteous. The fault lay in the policy. And that's all I've got to say about that. read more
