They will try and rake you across the coals on pricing and financing. This company is a perfect example of the bad reputation that used cars sales has. I had a wonderful experience with this dealership for the purchase of a used 2015 Ford Escape. I found it through Carfax for a great price! My sales person Brandon was very friendly and helpful, answering all my questions. They were very busy that day so the process took a little bit longer than normal but he kept me updated and made sure I was comfortable during the wait. I was unable to take car that day as I had driven there and lived over an hour away so he made arrangements for it to be delivered directly to my house! Purchased a car from this dealership. I sent a review underneath the dealership on the issues I had with the car. They had already processed it with a finance company. They had taken back the car and now my credit score is showing I have new credit which I don't because the financing was canceled. I've received several letters stating different reasons it was canceled. One stating because my social security could not be verified. Well if the financing was approved then how was that possible. I gave them everything correct. I gave them my social and my income from disability. When contacting the finance company they showed my income was much higher. I informed them I didnt make that much. They placed the car back on the lot for sale. I received 2nd letter stating my financing didn't go through. There was a lot of shady issues that happened during the entire transactions. My credit shows I still have a new loan which I don't after the car was returned and sold and financing dropped. This is causing issues with my credit. My son has severe liver issues and needs medical treatment. Because the dealership did not send information to Experian and other Bureaus telling them the loan was canceled. Its causing issues with my sons treatments. My son could die without his treatment. I told the sales lady about his liver issues and that we needed a dependable car. My car was totaled by a teenager. The car had issues they sold us. Carraige did not inform the Bureaus the loan was canceled. Experian stated it was there job to send this information to all the Bureaus. Now they're sending me a reply to take my review off and denying any wrong doing. I notice they reply to other reviews the same way. My son could die because they ignored doing what needed to be done on there end. read more

I bought a Mitsubishi Outlander in September. I was told I would be entitled to 2 free oil changes within a year. So after about 6 months and when my car recommends service I called and made an appointment. Arrived at my appointment on time. Was notified we have no record of your appointment. But you don't need it anyway because of low mileage. What happens if after a year I still don't have the recommended mileage will not be eligible for the services? I have a company car that I use mostly. I even expressed this concern when purchasing it but I assumed after 6 months I would at least get 1, wrong. So I suggest to everyone be careful when or if you buy here. I know it seems like a really small thing an oil change but not when you count every dollar like I do. read more

***AVOID**, My wife & I came here to view a 2006 Toyota Solara listed for $3300 for our son. We were told that with tax,tag and title the total purchase price of the car would be $4265. They use an electronic software-based application to process paperwork thus you are not given a hard copy of the actual paperwork. They give you a flash drive. Upon review of the flash drive we noticed a $599.00 customer service fee! This fee was never fully disclosed!!!!! Used car dealers like this make it hard for reputable companies. My husband and I went to Carriage on Monday to look at a 2014 Honda CR-V. Our salesman was Kevin and he was fantastic! He explained the 100k mile warranty to us and made the financing process go quickly and easy. Everyone there was so nice and we are really happy with our purchase. I've been to a lot of dealers in the area and they've been slow, or have been very pushy about a certain car, but Kevin was patient with us and even called me today to make sure we still like the car. We ***highly discourage *** any individuals from going to this dealership. We went there to look at a vehicle and was greeted by a sales person who immediately wanted to start paperwork for us. They said they wanted to save time. Never have we ever experienced anything like this. We hadn't even looked at the car yet. We had called 4 hours earlier expressing our interest, but yet when we arrived the vehicle was extremely dirty Once we looked at the car my husband noted that the tires were about 90 % worn. The car needed new tires. Upon test driving a wobble in the steering was noted. My husband told the salesman (Mr Nottingham) we would do the deal if they'd put new tires. He said he'd make it happen. We went in, filled out the paperwork, and then we were told they just can't put new tires on cause they are so low on their price. My husband said ok, give me two new tires, meet us 1/2 way. Sales guy says ok, let me check. Well the sales manager said no. They would take $200 off price. We thought about it and said ok. Well when it came down to the end, we found out the car only had one key, we wanted two. Two keys are needed when a car goes in for service work for any reprogramming. They said no. Well that was it. We walked out. This dealership lost good customers over tires and a key. read more

Looking at a 06' Honda Element when Carriage Mitsubishi pops up online for $3,800. So my father and I go test drive the car and we like it. We go to talk finance and they raise the price $700 and added on a list of fees. My father talks them down in price and sets up an appointment to buy the car. My father wants me to go test drive the car the day of the appointment to buy it. So I head over there and they had already sold the car... and didn't even call to cancel the appointment with my dad... They are shifty and I would stay far away from them. read more

DO NOT GO THERE!! Ruined what was suppose to be a happy day of me buying my first car. Gave me a low percent interest until it came to me actually signing the paperwork, it doubled. Then told me my bank statements were fine to show proof of income, until I got a call a few days later saying it wasnt. Was told my boss had to sign a paper proving my income, then told that wasn't good enough after I did it and drove it all the way to the dealership. Found an used car online on Monday, made appointment for test drive on Friday. After several "confirmation reminder" texts and email and voice messages during the week, I take time off and drive 81 miles to my appointment, cash in hand, and was told that the car had been sold. Used car sales manager didn't even speak to me, let alone offer an apology. They're going to say, "we have several dealerships and our cars could sell at anytime," but my appointment was confirmed AN HOUR before I arrived. I was told by one of the salesmen that "they have other cars." -- just not the one I made the long trip to actually purchase. I spent additional $1,610.00 to make the vehicle safe within 3 days of taking delivery. My Teenager could have been hurt! Carriage would not take my calls, emails or even acknowledge me., They never offered any services, money or corrections to make good on my claim. Went to small claims court and they won for the As-Is paper work. Consumers Beware! Carriage advertises on the 104.7.. but the Truth is Carriage is all about them and profit. Total Greed. Very disappointed. From the minute I went in up to the last phone call received today it was nothing but a total disappointment. The GM Chuck, talked to me on day 1 and said he personally was working my deal due to some things that needed updated. He continued to tell me he had a green check meaning an approval based on receiving the chapter 7 discharge paperwork. He also co tinker to say no money down and low payment on a new car due to rebates Well I went and got the required paperwork and sent it to him as well as Meredith who I was advised to include and have e been speaking to daily. Lie after lie call after call a person named Kevin answered today and said he would handle it. He then called and stated he needs thousands down to make it happen.
