Bought a car with them but they wouldn't give it to me the day of sale, saying they needed more time to clean it up. I wanted to take my car home and it had seemed clean enough when we test drove it an hour before but they insisted and gave me a loaner instead. When I came to pick up the car it smelled vaguely of gas but I didn't think too much of it. By that evening the gasoline smell was nauseating. They never admitted it but it seems they'd overfilled the gas tank. It took a week before the smell went away. On top of that, within about week or two one of the wipers was falling off and the battery for the one key fob they'd given me was in need of a change. Given all this I have no confidence in their mechanical team's attention to detail. Wish that were the end though. After a month and a half and several phone calls they still hadn't sent out my license plate and couldn't explain why not. Spoke with several finance people who promised to look into it and call back with an answer and they never did. Bottom line go elsewhere if you can. This place has serious problems at many levels. Even if they have a slightly better price you'll get a much better experience at other nearby dealerships. The only complaint is that we financed the car for 36 months and received a call the next day stating that the financing was actually only for 24 months, making our monthly payments higher, and that we needed to sign new paperwork. If we didn't already plan on paying off the car early/ could only afford the payments agreed to, this would have been a major problem and an extreme inconvenience. My son purchased his Civic in 2021 from this dealership. He has only taken it there for services. He was just told on his last oil change that the splash shield was missing. this has to be removed to change the oil. When he had the oil changed a few months back we had notices the technician left the cover off of the air filter box. I think he did not put the splash shield back on either. I spoke to the service advisor that assisted him on this last oil change and he said it looked like the splash shield was ripped off. If that is the case it is because it was not properly put back on just like the air filter cover. I looked under the vehicle and could not see any evidence of the shield being ripped off. As a mater of fact there is an air deflector that is right in front of the splash shield location. If the splash shield was ripped off the air deflector would have been damaged also, it was not. So now we have to find another place to have services done since we cannot trust the workmanship of the technicians. I would think twice about using this dealership again if they can't even do a simple oil change right. Another problem is there recommended services. My son had the transmission serviced at about 30000 miles (Honda's recommended interval). Now 15000 later they are recommending it again. Just trying to rip off the customers. I was very disappointed in this car dealership. Andre was the customer service agent that my daughter and I dealt with in our attempt to locate a vehicle for her. We needed more tenderness from our sales person because my daughter is a traumatic brain injury survivor, and needs a little bit more time to acknowledge the proper and right vehicle for her. We actually located 1 and the dealership was gracious enough for us to take the vehicle to our Personal mechanic to potentially look for any unforeseen issues or determine the vehicle was solid. When it was found that there was roughly $2500 worth of Mechanical and where on the vehicle we presented this to the dealership to meet us halfway or resolve the issue as my daughter was determined to have this vehicle. We met the sales manager Reza at this time and he assured us he would look into this with the dealership mechanics And get this taken care of for us so we would be happy and they would have a new customer. Two days later, we find out that the vehicle was sold from under our feet and no maintenance or corrections were done on the vehicle. So some innocent bystander Purchased a vehicle with substantial damage to the vehicle and I'm certain the dealership did not div the honesty on the subject. My daughter was also laughed heartbroken because of the dishonesty and deliberate sale of the vehicle for full price to another party. I recently purchased a used Acura Integra Type S with a 6-speed manual transmission. The dealership presented a clean service report and claimed their inspection showed no issues. Within weeks, the clutch catastrophically failed. Upon investigating, I found: Multiple independent mechanics who looked at the car unanimously confirmed this damage was from long-term abuse and poor driving technique - damage that couldn't possibly have occurred during my brief ownership. Most damning of all, I even had the chance to speak with the car's prior service center where they confirmed that the car had indeed exhibited similar issues in prior service appointments and the owner chose not to make repairs. Beyond the clutch, there was significant additional wear and tear to other parts of the car that Lou Sobh Honda either missed in their 'inspection' or chose not to disclose. When confronted with this evidence, Lou Sobh Honda accused me of not knowing how to drive a stick and having caused this damage myself. I have owned manual cars my whole life and driven hundreds of thousands of miles using a manual transmission - I even learned how to drive and took my driving test on a stick and the car I traded in to Lou Sobh Honda was a manual car with close to 200K miles on it - and I have never managed to blow out a clutch before. To suggest that I could destroy the clutch in what is one of the most reliable car brands in mere miles, is just an absurd attempt to avoid any responsibility. I went in a few days later (today) because my tire pressure indicator was lit and I couldn't get it to stop. I didn't read the manual right, it was an easy fix. Cheron helped me get my tires checked and reset the pressure so we are all set there for the week since it's supposed to be very cold. Very, VERY pleased with my experience with this dealership. Purchased a Certified Pre-Owned car recently. They added a bunch of fees to the price, but they quickly removed them when I "reminded" them that they can't do that in Georgia. Everything was pretty good up until the final delivery of the car. The detailing crew made a very noticeable scratch on the car. When I told the salesperson that the scratch wasn't there before, she attempted to gaslight me, told me that it must have been there before, and it was absurd to feel that the detailing crew had made the scratch. I quickly weighed my options and decided to accept the car and fix the scratch myself. (I know I shouldn't have accepted the car; don't judge, there's more to it.) They were golden up until the scratch. It's too bad that they showed their true selves; It would have been a relatively quick fix for them, but they chose to be shady at that point. I will be taking the car to my mechanic to do a thorough check of everything, as my trust is completely shattered. The salesman tried to tell me it was compound and would come right out. Not true. I know paint when I see it. I ventured forth and tried to make a deal but they low balled me on my trade to the point of insulting. The salesman actually got irate at me for not being interested in his offer. I have an 80 year old mother that had a 2007 Mazda with 184,000 miles. When I last rode in it with her I vowed it was time to help her find a new car. She is on a very fixed income so it was super important to find her the best car I could at the best price. I started my reset for her next car several months ago. This past Sunday we test drove a vehicle at another dealership. The sales guy was great but the sales manager lost our business. He didn't have the time of day for us. I found the car we were looking for and sent an email enquiry. With my mother being 80, it was important for me to make sure I did what I could to keep her out of buildings due to Covid. Just trying to be safe. Kimberly Carr answered my email. She has always been respectful in all of my interaction with her. She knew that I needed to get the best price for my mother and she worked hard to make that happen. I appreciated everything she did. We went to the dealership today and finalized the number after we agreed upon the price. Here in lies where they lost a point. Had it not been such a great experience with Kim, I would have taken away more stars. I was writing a check for this car. So paperwork should have been very quick and easy. Kim went to get things taken care of with the car and told me to wait in a certain area for the finance manager. He was supposed to let me know where a signature was required. I did not want my mother inside because of Covid so she sat in the car. It was raining so she couldn't sit outside. I waited and waited and waited. After I had been there for a long time I finally walked up to the receptionist and asked what was taking so long. She said she would see. I walked out to check on my mother and the receptionist then came outside to bring me the papers to sign. As I started to get my mother to sign the papers I realized her address was wrong on every single form. I spent the time and manually corrected everything. Ridiculous. Especially knowing That everything I had gotten from Kim had the correct address. Then when I brought them back in, I finally went into the office of the finance manager. Remember. I was writing a check for this vehicle. It should have been a VERY fast process. When I asked the finance manager, Robert Byczynski, if it always took so long he told me he had looked for me and I wasn't in the area. I had been sitting there for a very long time and finally went outside to check on my 80 year old mother sitting outside in the rain in the car. He said he asked if the receptionist knew where I was and she said no so he went on to the next person. Then he told me he thought I would just be giving a check to the salesperson and he was ready to move on to the next person. If he had been the only person I dealt with at the dealership I would have walked out. My mother literally sat outside in the rain in her car for 3 HOURS while I waited to get the paperwork finalized for a car I was writing a check for. No financing. Easy easy easy. Should NEVER have taken that long. As great as Kim was, it left a sour taste in my mounts. Never was there an apology from him that we had to wait so long or any empathy. Ridiculous. The silver lining is that I was able help my mother find a wonderful car that will serve her well for a long time. Kimberly Carr (salesperson), you deserve to have five stars. Where do I start... My wife and I were shopping for a bigger/newer vehicle due to us having a 3rd child. We expressed interest in the Odyssey's. The first time we were there, we had to leave because the numbers were just not there budget wise. Over the next few days, we received text messages from the salesman asking what it would take to earn our business. We sent a detailed text message stating what amount we had to put down, what we needed to finance and what the price of the vehicle needed to be for us to purchase it. The salesman countered the offer (which was only $500 off what our initial offer was). With the minimal $500 difference, we agreed and told him that we were going to sell going truck to Carvana the next morning and we would be in at 2:00pm to purchase the Odyssey. Keep in mind, they agreed to the price that THEY OFFERED. After selling the truck, going from bank to bank to cash/deposit the money from the sale, we made our way to Lou Sobh Honda to finalize the purchase. Once we were there, they had all of the paperwork on the table with the word "sold" on them. Before them running my credit, I asked twice about seeing the numbers to make sure we were on the same page. I was told that we would go over them shortly after they ran my credit. After receiving an interest rate from the "sales manager", I was provided with a NEW breakdown sheet which was $10,000 higher than what the SAME salesman told us via text. Of course, we brought up that the price was WAY off than what we were told over the phone and the only excuse we got was "there must have been some miscommunication" and "well we have a different sales manager than the other day". Not only did they lie to us and go back on a verbal agreement (which legally is a binding contract in the state of GA), they have limited my family of 5 to 1 vehicle, a hard inquiry on my credit and going home with no vehicle. The salesman had 0 emotion. 30 minutes after we left clearly irritated, he had the audacity to text us back with a $500 discount. No sir, you still have $9500 to take off. The only way I found out was when he came back with a folded sheet of paper with additional services. I'm not a fan. Brought my car for maintenance. The mechanic said everything was fine, and the next morning, my tire was flat. I was stranded on Dawson Forest Road around 6 a.m., trying to find a phone signal on the road. The only signal I could find was calling 911. Thank goodness a Dawsonville cop came to help. Shout out to Dawsonville cops. They are always providing roadside assistance or washing their cars at Bamboo car wash. I like their presence in the community. Makes me feel safe. By the time the cop came, I was able to walk a good mile to a nearby scary looking house and finally found a signal to call my husband. We really need better wifi signals in the Dawsonville area, especially Dawson Forest road, all the sections, to ensure the safety of people who are stranded in the dark, especially women, when our car breaks down. We went back to get the tire fixed, and they charged me $300 for one tire to replace and totally wasted my time. It's not cool to rip off someone from your community. This is why I didn't bother purchasing a car from them in the first place and should have known better. read more

If you tell them you're waiting in the service area or if you're going to drop off and come back later they will provide you a fairly accurate assessment of when your vehicle will be ready based on your time. The car buying experience is fair and respectful of your time and won't keep you the dealership to drag the process out like dealerships (see other post). I purposely drive 10 mins out of my way to this dealership over a closer dealership because of the way they treat their customers. I found a vehicle on cars.com that was listed by Lou Sobh Honda so I sent them a message asking what the out the door price was and weather or not they honor an available rebate. I received a reply from salesman Lee Walls the following morning saying that he won't reply in writing and that he needs my phone number. I replied that is a red flag that he will not answer my questions in writing and this was his reply "FYI, always a red flag when a potential customer doesn't provide a phone number when submitting a question about a vehicle and they are 1000 miles away. While I appreciate your question and inquiry. This vehilce is not available for sale outside the state of GA. Thanks." Keep in mind that I was willing to fly there and pay cash (wire or Certified check) and that they have an internet sales dept. and that it is listed nation wide on cars.com. I told him that I have flown over 2,000 miles to Phoenix AZ to purchase cars and that if he has never heard of someone from the North going South to get rust free cars he was a dumb@. He proceeding to try and threaten me by trying to look up where I work on the internet (he got it wrong) and then saying I could not talk to him that way because he was a veteran. This had nothing to do with his horrible sales abilities. For all he knows I could have become his best customer and traveled to buy numerous Southern cars but now he keeps their car and I keep my money. Don't waste your time here. I love the Service Department at Lou Sobh. I have had numerous bad experiences at Honda Carland Service and Lou Sobh came to my rescue. I am obligated to go to Honda Carland for maintenance services due to their lifetime warranty rules, but I think I'd rather forego their warranty and stick with using Lou Sobh exclusively. The bad service at Carland isn't worth the warranty. Thanks David and Bonnie! You both are the best! A tip to customers - the waiting area is awesome. Free beverages and snacks, but if you want something else, there's paid vending machines. There's free wifi and work stations (cubicles) setup so you can easily bring your laptop and work while you wait. Alternatively, there's a free shuttle AND they offer rentals for $28 a day. If your service is over a certain amount they provide a loaner vehicle. This place is truly amazing. They have exceeded all of my expectations. They also know how to honestly set them. David said he would need my car all day. I brought it in at 7:45am, I was in a loaner and out the door by 8am. At 11am my car was ready. These guys are the best! First things first, I purchased a new 2017 Honda here. I had visited and shopped other car dealers for the same make and model, and because I am with Costco, the Costco Auto Program hooked me up big time. The program reduced the silly games and hassle of purchasing a car. Right of the bat, the Costco program reduced the price and streamlined the purchasing experience. I think my sales person is also relieved that Costco was there to make it a hassle free purchase. I know this because I had shopped the competition (Gwinnett Place) + (Curry). At the end of the day, the experience was much better because Costco helped cut to the chase, get the final Out the Door price up front and reduced all the silly games that dealers play. Therefore,... GET COSTCO, and BUY A CAR THRU THE COSTCO PROGRAM. Save money, and don't get swindled. I made 2 visits here. First to view the car, place a deposit. The second time, to pick up the car. My sales rep was very nice and professional. There was some drama and games, but limited. Her "manager" tho was unpleasant. The manager was downright rude and impatient. I had questions about the pricing and the manager could not do math in his head and tried to Donald Trump his way thru. If the price sheet does not add up, you should go check your math and ensure you are presenting the price correctly. Other wise, the offer and deal is very shady and they lost credibility immediately. On my second visit, I kicked that manager to the curb and dealt with another that was more reasonable. There was still math errors along the way and some 'promises' and 'benefits' also evaporated. It was unpleasant and I was quite dissapointed with the many bait and switches along the way. Bottom line, this experience is par for the course. I will advise you get help via a Costco program to make it better. Expect bait and switch and pressure. I used Costco Auto which recommended Loh Sobh as a hassle free way to purchase a vehicle. I was contacted by their internet sales manager Ben via text. We set up an appointment to go in and review options. I arrive on time for my appointment and I ask for Ben. Instead a salesperson named Richard comes out and starts to help me because Ben is with another customer. Kind if unprofessional to miss an appointment but sure I get it, that can happen. I explain my situation that I want to view a car that will get my monthly payment to $200. Richard takes nearly 3 hours between calling my auto finance for my trade in and finding the Civic that would be a fit for my price range. Mind you this was a striped down Civic LX, no options, no features, just four wheels and a roof. This is what I wanted for my "driving to the airport" car. I had a leased Dodge Charger with 7 payments left and a flyer I got in the mail that Loh Sobh would offer early lease termination and discounts to get in to a Civic or Accord, as low as $200. He finally comes out with a price...$348/month. Explains that Honda doesn't need to discount their cars because they are popular and that this was the best they could do. I even had an ad from another Honda dealer offering $6k in discounts, he says "do you really beleive that?"...I asked for the manager. Manager comes out and explains that with my trade in, I am underwater (I completely understand that since it's a lease with 7 payments left). Then says how even without the trade in, I be at $300/ month. No discounts or anything available. I got up and left...biggest waste of 4 hours I ever seen. I not only would never go back to Loh Sobh but I'd never consider a Honda again. I explained very first thing the price I wanted to be at and that I needed to trade my lease. Why wouldn't they start there instead or taking 2 hours to show me Civics and then another 1.5 hours calling my lease finance company when apparently the base price of Civics are $300/month for a lease? Oh and I never met Ben the Internet Manager that I originally had my appointment with...maybe he isnt real... read more

Our friends son went Today to look at a car that was listed on their website. He was treated poorly by the sales team, was told that they had to talk money before being able to look at the car. They pre judged the young man and would not do business with him Bc of his age, he is 20, has an excellent work history And has the money to buy a car. This was a very bad case of prejudice and will never do business with this company. read more

We made an appointment with Lou Sobh Honda Cummings GA to test drive a Honda CR V. Once we arrived after driving over an hour the gentleman that we came to see was busy. We were then transferred to Jose. The experience that we had with him was ABSOLUTELY horrible. After our test drive we sat down to do the final numbers. The amount was above of what we wanted to spend. Jose took the paper off the table and stated this is what we are offering. He never offered us to see any other vehicles Plus his attitude was awful. At that point we left then went to Kerzen Honda and purchased our car. They gave us GREAT customer service!** Key note - we were already pre approved from our credit union, so Lou Sobh Honda missed out on a sale due to poor customer service!!! read more
