BAD EXPERIENCE!!! Art is a nice enough guy. However, I bought a low-mileage 2005 Camry from him about a year ago. The check engine light went on less than 200 miles after leaving the dealership. The codes led me to the O2 sensors which I had replaced immediately. The mechanic who replaced them showed me that the existing O2 sensors had been modified to fool emissions sensing (which is illegal). I contacted Art who assured me he would work with me to remedy the issue claiming "I always take care of my customers". Long story short I never heard from him again and I had to replace both of the manifold catalytic converters which came to about $1500 with parts and labor. This will likely only be remedied by a trip to small claims court. Best to stay away from this place. read more

I initially thought Art was a "nice guy," but my experience proved otherwise. After signing the paperwork, I drove off the lot, trusting that I had made a fair purchase. That was my mistake. As soon as I got on the freeway, I noticed the tires were out of balance and the brakes were in terrible condition. The tires were so old they couldn't even be balanced. To his credit, Art agreed to replace the tires, but when it came to the brakes, he refused to cover them--apparently, in his eyes, brakes are a luxury. He did offer to have his mechanic install them, but only if I paid for the parts. I also discovered that the 12-volt battery needed to be replaced. While he agreed to swap it out, he didn't provide a new one--just another used battery. At every turn, he chose shortcuts over proper fixes. Now, the hybrid battery needs replacing, and the so-called warranty he claimed would cover it doesn't. It turns out that his promises are as unreliable as the car he sold me. Bottom line: Art is dishonest and cuts corners at every opportunity. If you're considering buying a car from him, beware--you may end up paying for a lot more than you expected. read more

Who writes glowing reviews about used car dealers? I thought I never would until now. Seriously, believe the other positive reviews here. I've been searching for a car at a reasonable price and as we all know, most older cars look like someone let a pack of wild dogs loose in them considering all the damage. Don't get me started on the typical condition of the outside. Of course, you then get a salesman saying "well, what do you expect at this age/price point?!" So, I assumed I would be facing the same story again, but something about this car made me stop by and take a look. To my surprise, the car looked like it could have been a year old, not over 10 years old. It was in amazing shape and the dealership owner Art had obviously taken the time to clean it from top to bottom before putting it up for sale. (Something I'm also surprised others haven't done.) Also, he has a mechanic on site and goes through the cars in detail when he buys them. He showed me paperwork I didn't think he ever would or could. I did notice a few minor issues including a small missing piece of trim. He could have easily said "sorry, sold as is", but the guy actually went online, found the piece, ordered it (yes, he paid for it), and told me to come back when it arrives and he will install it. Also, his mechanic is going to fix the very minor other issue which he disclosed about a minute into seeing the car not after I had noticed it. And to top it all off, his price was unbeatable. Again, I can't say enough positive things about my experience and when Art said he has a lot of repeat customers, I actually believe him. When it comes time to buy cars for my kids in a few years, I'll definitely make this my first stop. read more
