Bought a car from Carvana and needed a repair for my back seats and so I went here as one of the places recommended. The guy spent not even 5 minutes and looked into my issue and said he would submit to insurance company. Once submitted it was submitted as a cosmetic claim so it got denied. I brought the car back and he did a tear down of the issue to supposedly submit. Well long story short after MONTHS of him telling me he submitted it (which he didn't) and telling me they don't submit claims over the phone I called Insurance who said I could go to a dealership at no cost and my car was fixed three days later. The shop NEVER called me back to follow up or anything. Terrible service read more

Never doing business with Carstar again. Our suv has been in their bodyshop for close to 2 months now, next week it'll hit 2 months. It was supposed to be done last week, vendor delivered a damaged part (which I can understand things happen). Suv was supposed to be ready for pickup 2 days ago, and it's been delayed twice now. STAY AWAY FROM CARSTAR! If you have to wait more time for another bodyshop to handle your repairs, do it. Don't make the same mistake I did. They respond to reviews by next business day but yet I have trouble getting in contact with their people- just shows you what kind of company you're doing business with. read more

I got in a car accident in November 2 days before Thanksgiving. My insurance sent me to CarStar West Valley for the damages to be repaired. My car insurance only covered my rental for one month and with it being the holidays I was freaking out! I couldn't afford to stay in a rental & my car still wasn't repaired. CARSTAR ended up waiving my deductible to help me pay for my rental. This was a HUGE relief. Additionally, we're now in July of the next year & they repaired a small cosmetic issue on my car for me at no cost. I sincerely appreciate their help to give me an amazing experience and they will be my go-to for any future vehicle repair needs! read more

They took photos and said they could have an estimate in 4-5 days. No estimate done. I called and clarified the VIN so they could complete the estimate. They said a few more days. No estimate done. I called again 3 days later asking about he estimate. They claimed the phots were not clear and they were unsure of what to base the estimate on. It has been 10 days and nothing. I said forget about it. I'll take by business someplace else. They responded " we have a lot of other customers" I guess my business doesn't matter. Going to get an estimate and repair at a business that actually cares and provides follow up. Suggestion: DON'T USE CARSTAR WEST VALLEY COLLISION CENTER!!! They have no idea how to run a business and have absolutely no follow up or customer service. THIS FRANCHISE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR VEHICLE. Too bad because we had a good experience with a CarStar in WA State. read more

I called last month wanting to bring in my vehicle. Spoke with Carlos Villalpando who provided me his email address to send an estimate. I called later that afternoon to confirm he had received the email and was told by Sam that he was at lunch. I have not received a call back since then. I took my other vehicles here before but now I realize their customer service sucks. read more

I requested a quote online over the weekend and received a call Monday morning. John set me up with an appointment and ordered the windshield then and there. What was the most helpful that he called my insurer while I was on the phone with him. My insurer told me that the crack had to be larger than a silver dollar to cover replacement. They went on to say that Blue Chip was not a partner of their insurance company. I asked the insurer if that meant that they wouldn't cover the windshield if Blue Chip replaced it. John promptly jumped in and told me that the windshield would be covered 100%, but that the warranty would be covered by Blue Chip rather than my insurer. I appreciated the clarification. He told me that there would be zero out of pocket cost to me. The insurer told me that the repair would be covered and John did the rest (which was literally everything). Blue Chip replaced the windshield right in my driveway, again, at no cost to me. The service tech, Dan, was on-time and went out of his way to answer my questions, like calibration of the camera. Since my vehicle was newer, it had a camera for emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, which required calibration by an authorized tech when the windshield was replaced. Blue Chip took care of that as well. Dan showed me where the camera was mounted and why it needed to be calibrated with the windshield change. Dan was professional, competent, fast and friendly. In the end, I got a shiny new windshield installed by professionals at no cost to me. I have found my permanent glass company!

What a scam. I started a project on Yelp and Neal got to me right away with a $325 quote and mobile service included!! Take that Scamlite! Neal completed the work in my driveway in half an hour. Was then told that the installer would be to my house from 8am to 12 noon. Really, I have to take a half day off work to get my windshield changed? Anyway, I agreed because the price was about what I was expecting. The following day it was 11:30am before the installer showed up. He did the work quickly and after a couple hours of sitting looks like a decent job so the installer gets 4 stars (1 star off for being at the end of the appointment window). The problem I have is the person that came and did the job does not work for the company I hired. He is a subcontractor and does installs for companies that just take your order and then pay someone else to do the work. I would have never used this company had I known they were not going to do the work themselves. Also, I wrote out the check to the company I called which was M & J Auto Glass and the installer told me that wasn't the companies name. I went to their website and it shows that as their name but he was concerned about taking a check made out to another name then what hired him. He stated the companies name is Forever Auto Glass out of Surprise and I called and hired M & J Auto Glass with a Goodyear address. Even the invoice states Forever Auto Glass. I wish I had just called the installer himself and skipped the middle man.

I called Magic Windshields because they were close to my work. Magic Windshields opened early so I called them right when they opened. I spoke with Gracie who was very helpful and checked with the installers and manager to make sure they could get my windshield replaced before I left work. I needed to leave work by 2pm at the latest and she made sure it would happen. I was also informed the company was also a recommended shop by my insurance, so that was a nice bonus. Gracie told me they could get it done and come to my work to get it done before 1pm. Cristian, the installer called me about 10 minutes before he arrived and quickly replaced my windshield. I am extremely thankful they were able to help me out so quickly and get me back on the road. The interaction I had with both employees was very pleasant and professional and the install was great.

Bill uses high-quality materials, he used Suntek for my 30% tint and made sure it was legal to drive in California (since I'm not too well-versed in car detailing and legal window tint shades at all). For the 7-year/lifetime ceramic coating, Bill used Opticoat Pro Plus over the body of my car, which has an amazingly smooth and glossy finish. He recommended Opticoat Glass Pro ceramic coating for my windshield and windows as well (to prevent high-speed rock damages on the freeway), which I happily agreed to get. I really appreciated all of Bill's thoughtful recommendations, especially knowing the weather up in the Bay Area where I'm originally from. All of these customizations together cost $1998, which is far less than what I had been quoted by certain shops back in the Bay. Also Bill's turn around time for coating and curing the car was less than 2 days for everything, whereas I had been quoted over a week back in the Bay (and with a much longer commute from where I live!) For the quality of service, details, and kind customer service, I'd recommend any friend in Arizona to go on over and visit Bill for detailing and work - 11/10! A year ago I bought a black 2016 Mustang from a local dealership. It also had watermarks on the faux suede inserts in the seats. I recently took it to Crystal Clear to find out if there was anything I could do short of a repaint. They told me they could do a "paint correction" and they felt the seats should clean up fairly well. They gave me a price and we scheduled it for 2 days this week. I picked the car up yesterday and I'm extremely happy with the results. It looks like a new car and they charged me a reasonable price!
