    Vodka pasta with chicken
    Amanda K.

My family has been coming here for a couple years now and it never disappoints. They will do any modifications without a problem. They do a vodka sauce with seafood but I asked for it to be chicken instead. The sauce still had a seafood-y flavor but it was almost like a lobster bisque sauce. I couldn't stop eating it. Their cheesecake is also to die for. Incredibly light and airy. The waiters treat us like family, which makes the experience so much better. I would recommend this place a thousand times over!

Veal Chop special. Expensive but very good!

Food, service and ambiance were excellent. One of the best meals in Mooresville I've had since I moved here about a year ago.

Best upscale Italian restaurant experience in the greater LKN area. Terrific traditional dishes, excellent service, very comfortable dining room, good wine list, and appropriate pricing.

    Lobster Risotto

We have been Caruso's fans for years. This review may sound like many others but I have not reviewed Caruso's in a very long time... It was my belated birthday dinner with my family. The evening was perfect and our server Omar made our experience even better. Out of the five of us three ordered to Lobster Risotto which was delicious, one of my sons ordered the Veal Chop and I ordered the Bronzino. The team at Caruso delivered an excellent tasty and well prepared meal experience yet again. Great ambiance for a romantic dinner or a dinner with friends and family... A must try in Mooresville...

This is by far the best restaurant in the Mooresville are by far. The atmosphere is great, the staff is unbelievable and take care of you. Our waitress Lisa was exceptional and accommodating. The chef here is on their game and the food was simply amazing. I cannot praise this place enough and while it was our first time there it won't be our last time.

It has been awhile since we have gone to Caruso's but let me tell you it is still great. We decided to start with the burrata. The tomato was perfectly ripe and the cheese very tender and creamy. We then ordered the figs marinated in Grand Marnier with whipped ricotta. They were so flavorful, tender, and savory not too sweet. I asked for them to add some prosciutto which commented it perfectly. I always appreciate a restaurant open to customer desires! We then had the veal chop special with sausage and peppers. Again very tender and cooked perfectly. We ended with affogato. One of my favorite deserts and Caruso's always nails it.

Hubby and I sat at the bar, and had an excellent meal and service! The bartender was friendly and helpful, and our food arrived hot and delicious. Even though it was a busy Saturday night, it was never noisy, and we felt like we had a private, secluded spot at the bar. We will definitely go back!

Long wait. Food was ok. There were a lot of loud older adults that appeared to have had too much to drink. Gave me a geriatric bar vibe.

They're more concerned with making you feel at home than spying on you from another location. The Chicken Parm was excellent. Pasta and vegetables also great. And while bread was somewhat standard, the butter brought it up to a very high level. I don't know what kind of butter that was, but it was really good--good enough that I'm writing more than one sentence about bread and butter. The salad was good but nothing amazing. I'll go with the soup as the side next time. I recommend you do the same. If there is one other negative, their packing for to-go orders is archaic. Lol. They put every item in little plastic bags. But don't let that stop you. Their food is delicious. And while I didn't eat here, the ambiance is homey--that's a W! Prices are relatively fair. Overall, highly recommended.

It took a bit for them to find us a table, but eventually we were seated. Most of the group ordered the chicken Alfredo, while I went with soup and salad. The soup of the day was Italian wedding, which sounded promising but arrived more like "Italian acquaintance." The broth was watery and pretty short on flavor. The salad followed: a very basic house salad with cheese and ranch on the side. The lettuce tasted like it had seen better days. I checked in with the fettuccine crowd and the overall consensus was "meh--it's fine." Nothing terrible, nothing memorable. Our waitress also seemed a bit... sharp. She had two large groups in her section, so I couldn't tell if it was stress, personality, or if we personally had done something wrong just by existing. Overall, not a disaster--but definitely not a lunch I'll be daydreaming about later.

Their grilled Caesar salad is large enough to share, with deliciously charred romaine and homemade dressing. We also love sharing the arancini when we are not in the mood for a salad. For entrees, you can't go wrong with their pizza. It's one of our top favorites in the CLT area, as it's cooked in a wood-fired oven, and is both crispy and full of toppings. My husband particularly enjoys the Capricciosa, with artichokes, ham, mushroom, basil, and fresh mozzarella. Their calzones are really good, too. I usually get their lasagna, which is served in a bowl and is made to order. Their bolognese has a complex flavor, and the sauce-to-cheese quotient is just perfect. I always have some leftover to take home. If you have room for dessert, I highly recommend the deconstructed cannoli. It's homemade, and divine. Their gelato is well thought-out, served with a side of espresso to soften the ice cream and add a unique flavor. Presentation is carefully and well-thought out. Service is always good as well, no matter what time of day you visit (we prefer early dinners). We love this place, and will keep it on our "short list" for nearby dining!

The…read moreshopping center offers free parking, but I walked over there from the hotel where I was staying. I was warmly greeted when I entered the restaurant. I was seated facing the kitchen in a booth. I just loved the decor with the bricks, open kitchen, and warehouse ceiling. The wood, beams and bricks were reclaimed materials from Manhattan, adds old world charm. The Easter decorations were a nice touch. My amazing waitress created me a mocktail with ginger beer and cranberry. It was colorful and wonderful. It had some tang to it. The Italian restaurant has Neopolitan pizzas and Italian dishes. It was so hard deciding what to select from the menu. If I hadn't just had shrimp, the shrimp scampi would have been what I ordered. Then there was a lasagna with a bechamel sauce I really wanted. But the pizza won out. My waitress talked me into the salad I was debating, too. The salad was Dolce Crostata. It has mixed lettuce, goat cheese, pancetta, candied pecans and golden raisins. I like the salads with fruit, and this one was wonderful. Novanta means 90 in Italian, which is the 90 seconds it takes to cook the pizza. It goes into the 900-degree Italian wood-fired oven. The pizza was a true Neapolitan with the soft, airy crust and a little bit of char on it. It tasted as good as it looked. I wanted a second pizza after my first slice, but I had trouble finishing the first and had to take half of the salad to go. I did love every bite of the margherita pizza and salad. If I lived closer, I'd eat here weekly as the food is that good. This is a hidden gem.
