I am extremely disappointed with my experience buying a vehicle from Carvana. I purchased a 2024 Kia Forte GT-Line, and within just four days of owning it, the car has become a complete safety hazard. The vehicle has repeatedly lost power while driving, jerked back and forth, and stopped in the middle of traffic. the gas pedal became unresponsive, the RPM dropped to zero, and the car would not accelerate. This is not just an inconvenience it is incredibly dangerous. No one should have to worry about their car shutting off in traffic just days after purchasing it. To make matters worse, the vehicle also arrived with a damaged tire, which should have been caught during the inspection process. Carvana advertises that their vehicles undergo a thorough inspection before being sold, but my experience makes me seriously question how this car ever passed. As I write this review, the car is still sitting in my driveway four days after I bought it because it is not safe to drive. I paid for a vehicle that I cannot even use. This has been a complete waste of my time, caused unnecessary stress, and left me without reliable transportation. I spent a long time searching for the right car, and I finally thought I had found the perfect one. Instead, I was sold a vehicle with serious safety issues almost immediately after taking delivery. I expected much better from a company that promotes convenience and quality. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Carvana to anyone. I will never purchase another vehicle from them again, and I strongly encourage anyone considering buying from Carvana to think carefully before doing so. read more

This was my first experience with carvana and I was amazed how easy it is. Carvana has a lot of options to choose from, provides all details regarding the cars included any imperfections they have (with pictures and descriptions). I didn't spend a minute taking with sales person as you usually experience at dealership (where you can spend hours and have a lot of headache taking with them). All the cars at carvana have a 7 day period when you can drive it, check and see if it really fit your needs. I drove my first car for about 5 days and decided to change it to another vehicle that will fit me better. One call and I switched to another vehicle, came to drop the one I had and pick up another. It was so easy that I couldn't believe. Moreover, carvana gave me the best price for the car I traded in and I didn't have to bring it in for checking! All I can say is thank you Carvana! To be honest I was very skeptical at first, the offer for our car was great & the process appeared too easy to be true! But what you see is what you get as described on their website. I uploaded photos of my car, answered all their questions about the car and received a quote within an hour. Once we decided to go with them & uploaded ownership verification (drivers license & title) we were able to arrange a pick up for only $90 (Varys depending on distance - we live 21 miles away). The pick up individual was prompt, courteous & professional. He called us ahead of time & let us know when he would be arriving, looked the vehicle over, took photos, ran diagnostics, verified our identity & handed us a check for the quoted amount. Carvana purchased my car with a very clear and easy-to-follow process on its website. There was minimal paperwork, and the representative who picked up my car at my home was pleasant, friendly, and professional. The purchase price was also very fair. I sold a BMW and decided to skip an oil service reminder because I did not want to spend money not only on the oil service itself, but also on the other expensive services that seem to accompany every visit to BMW service. I was then bombarded with multiple emails from BMW and CarMax suggesting that I either complete the service or face a significant reduction in my car's value. One email sent by BMW and CarMax quoted my car's value at approximately $8,000 less than the value I received from online estimates and Carvana. It was extremely easy to sell my car. I didn't have to drive around getting quotes. Instead, I received a fair quote online very quickly. They provided many reminders as to what was needed before my appointment. The staff at the Carvana office were friendly and professional. They honored the quote after examining the car in person. The entire process was extremely easy. They even sent reminders about insurance and DMV after the sale. My only criticisms are that I don't understand all of their uploading requirements since they didn't use any of it nor why they wanted access to my bank account information when I wanted a check (it was a secure transaction but why?). I got comfortable with their request and granted access. My suggestion, revoke access to bank account information after you have your check. You may find they still have access. read more

I was skeptical about selling my car to Carvana and I couldnt have been more wrong. I decided to do so on a Monday afternoon, and it was sold and picked up at 8:00am the next day and I received a good offer. The online process was easy and even the uploading of document, which was daunting at first, was easy as well. Carvana's communication was excellent from the moment I established a username / password until they picked up my car. I even received an email after they picked up my car to remind me to cancel my car insurance, which I did immediately. The Carvana driver who picked up my car was helpful and professional and was gone in 10 minutes. The car listed was never in stock. Bait and switch to get stuck with their financing. I found a vehicle that I really wanted so I moved forward with Carvana financing and followed through with everything on my end. I received an order confirmation with a set pick up date. So I went ahead and purchased insurance. I check back in with customer service about a week later because I hadn't heard from anyone since my order was confirmed. Come to find out they sold my my car to another customer. The robot sincerely apologized. The End. - Carvana Financing can't be used elsewhere. So your stuck with their offerings if your vehicle ends up not being available. -Customer Service reps are robots. I bought a car on Carvana several years ago and it was a wonderful experience. I recently bought an Audi and Carvana cancelled the order on the delivery day saying they couldn't reach me. No one ever tried to reach me. I even called asking when it was being delivered as I hadn't heard from them and they assured me it was on it's way. Come to find out later it was canceled a couple hours before my call. I then ordered a Porsche and they promised the previously paid shipping fee would be refunded. It never happened. I've been in touch a couple more times each offering hallow promises of a refund. I've spent countless hours on this having to repeat the whole story each time. Their incompetence is staggering. I thoroughly was impressed with the car buying process of carvana. I was especially happy about the pre approval process thus negating a great deal of the stress in car buying. It's nice to know that you can purchase a car you want before you go looking. If I did have one small complaint, I would have liked it to be easier to get credited for being a referral. My brother had bought a car a week earlier and that made me interested in carvana. Yet, because I did not enter it when I was searching possibly due to the time limit, he did not get credit for the referral and I did not get the $500 rebate. Had a great selling experience. Had a CarMax appointment right before leaving the country, and a title quirk of some sort made them say they couldn't buy yet. With 3 hours before going to the airport, I used the Carvana website, then talked to someone on the phone (called me in only two minutes). After a wait for doc verification, got me an appointment two hours out. I got to the store, and they took me 90 minutes early. From going to the website to "we have sent the money to your bank" was 75 minutes. Exactly what I needed to save the say. AND it was a generous offer as well. Their 7 day return policy gives you the chance to evaluate your purchase before you commit to the sale. They offer a lenient repair policy also. Upon the pickup the consultant (DREW) was very professional. Every detail was explained and covered. They vehicle was very clean.
