Bottom line - Carvana thinks it's OK to sell a car that is unsafe to drive. My 2021Jeep delivery was delayed by 10 days because of "tire issues." Within 10 days of driving it I experienced the dreaded "Death Wobble," as serious shaking of the vehicle that could cause it to flip. At best, it caused you to have to come to a complete stop on the highway before it will stop. Two different shops stated the tires were the problem. The warranty company denied the claim because they don't warranty the tires (wearable). What was Carvana's response to selling me a vehicle that won't flip over without $1400 in tires? Mostly problems with purchase. Got 1st car from Carvana that was not acceptable and exchanged for another. It took carvana 5 weeks to get my payment check returned to the bank. Got it 2nd car from carvana. This one up to needs/requirements. Took carvana over 4 weeks to cash check but they started demanding loan document from bank after 2 weeks & bank doesn't create document until check is cashed. Temporary tag good for 2 months after purchase expires in less than 1 week and I'm still waiting for them to get the documentation required to DMV to get car titled and registered. Worst cards to buy! I bought it expecting a two day delivery. It got postponed a week then once I receive the car, they didn't give me keys to actually unlock the vehicle so I called. They said they extended my seven day warranty, which they never did then they told me to go through the warranty company to get a replacement for the keys no warranty company did the keys so I was gonna have to pay out-of-pocket for the keys that they never gave me on the first day. They gave me the ignition keys, but they never gave me a key to actually unlock unlock the vehicle so the first day I locked the vehicle from the inside and then could not get back into it so I had to call a locksmith to unlock the vehicle, which I had to pay for since it was the first day in the seven day warranty didn't show up yet! Then I was going to get it fixed and pay out-of-pocket. It would cost me $400 but before I actually got it fixed it broke down leaving me stranded on the middle of the highway with three kids. read more

I was really disappointed in my Carvana experience. My car was driven to me, not brought on a transporter. When I opened the door, the car smelled bad, there was greasy hand prints throughout. Food, wrappers, crumbs, tobacco, and cigarette butts in the back and in the cup holders. There were no floor mats or heated seats as the listing stated. The most upsetting thing was to find out that Carvana brought the car on tires that were not rated or safe for my vehicle. The tire shop actually didn't believe that we had received the car this way as the tires were absolutely not safe for that weight. I'm done with Carvana. Filed a warranty claim and it was denied because it is up to the insurance companies to decide if it is worth it to them or not. I was on my way to my scheduled pick up after receiving confirmation that my vehicle was ready and got a call that the ac was not working and i could not pick up the vehicle that day. I had to wait almost 2 weeks for the vehicle to be delivered. When it was deliverd there a bad coolant leak that they tried to cover up by washing the motor. The ac still cuts in and out and the heat does not work in the back. The check engine light came on and is showing knock sensor faults. They did not complete the inspection bc hardly anything works. The electric running board on the driver side doesnt work and there was A Lot more damage than the description. I had a long, drawn out process with Carvana that was frustrating, to say the least. The first vehicle I purchased was a 2014 Jeep Compass. Once received, I realized that this particular vehicle wasn't what I was looking for so I asked to return the vehicle and choose a different one. I picked a 2012 Honda CRV, and I was suppose to pick it up on a Wednesday and return the Jeep Compass at the same location. On Wednesday, I arrived to pick up the new vehicle, and it wasn't there. The sales person stated "I didn't know you was going to arrive this early." My appointment was at 0930. He stated that they was suppose to receive the vehicle the night prior, but didn't. I was frustrated because no one informed me of this. I had to clock out from work to drive to get the vehicle. He asked me if I could hang out for 2 hours. Definitely not! Let's back track to a couple days before that. I was told that the Honda wouldn't be there on the original date. I called Carvana to see what I needed to do since if I wait to pick it up, I would be going past my 7 days with the Jeep. The lady I spoke to told me to go ahead and return the vehicle. I took the Jeep to them and they wouldn't even take it. Told me to leave and bring it back in two days when the Honda got there. I am extremely irritated with Carvana, and this is partially the reason why I stuck with the Honda. I just can't deal with them anymore. It was a rough week for sure. read more
