This is my first time selling my car here. There was very little interaction as most work are done online. It was actually super easy, a child can do it. But they're not of legal age. It starts with Carvana's website to sell or buy a car. Go through the questionnaires and steps. Towards the end, they break down what you need to upload to Carvana. Once it's all done and submitted, you can either have them pick up your vehicle or go there in person. Since I live so close to Carvana, I drove my car there for drop off. Keep in mind that once you go through their website and completed the paperwork, you can still keep driving your car even though you've already submitted your mileage. At the actual Carvana location, there is a sales associate who finalizes your transaction. He/she will give your car a look over and make sure everything is in order. The they hand you a check, boom, you're done!!! My car was paid off by Carvana in a little over a week. Zero balance. Overall, super quick, super easy. And this is from someone that has never sold a vehicle before! I got more money from Carvana than Car Max and various Toyota dealerships. Nice! Inside, is like a high tech machine inspired by the Japanese. The rotating platforms is amazing to watch. You can stick around and watch if you like. It's neat. All the cars you see inside the glass tower are all sold already. They're just protected from the elements for the buyers so they're not sitting outside collecting dust and getting dirty. Well, I wanna make sure that you as a viewer know that my interaction with Carvana Ontario was no problem at all. My issue is with Carvana online and the fact that they did not show up for two scheduled pick ups of my vehicle and that caused a tremendous amount of problems because you have to have a reservation with them. The first one I received no information the second one they called me two hours before they were supposed to arrive and told me they would not be arriving and wanted to reschedule for a week later. That did not work obviously and I was paying $40 to them for them to come to my house. So in order to make my business trip, I had to scramble and drive down to Westminster California to drop off my car, and I believe I'm out $40 for having to do that. I just thought this was bad business practice. If you make up an appointment with somebody, you keep the appointment! I will tell you that my interaction with the employees in the Westminster office was excellent! The gentleman who helped me was knowledgeable, kind fast and the process was awesome. So all in all I really like Carvana, but I don't like making an appointment with somebody and then having it canceled and being charged for it. read more

Detailing never done, and advertised "installed options" missing. This was my first experience with Carvana, and it was a big disappointment. Although it took over one month for me to be able to take possession of the car after I committed to buy it and although I was told during that time that it was going through the intensive 150 point inspection and full detailing, much of that was untrue -- in fact, the car appears to have had no inspection and no detailing. -- when I arrived at the Ontario, California pickup location, the employee told me that it had "just been detailed" there, which didn't match what I had been told previously. At the pickup location, I noticed that: -- there were (removable) stains on the seats; -- there was sand under the front and rear seats; -- almost all the switches and buttons had dirty fingerprints all over them; -- the jack and all tools were missing; in their place was an old baseball -- the original floor mats were not in place and non-fitting very cheap ones were there instead, including a loose and dangerous one on the driver's floor -- upon arrival at home, I noticed that there was an old vape pen stuck with tar residue to the side of one of the rear storage shelves; there was dust all over the engine and some leaves; there were more stains on the seats and some sticky stain on the driver's seat, and there was a "popping sound" every time the rear passenger side door is opened. (Thankfully, the popping sound was fixed by tightening a bolt inside the door) KIA did an inspection and reported that the battery is weak and should be replaced ($ 430 including tax plus $ 113 labor) parts that were missing: - OEM Kia front passenger floor mat - Jack and tools - Cargo net - Cargo cover When I asked Carvana about the missing jack and tools, they argued that they were "removable accessories", which is absolutely crazy. The jack is necessary for basic roadside safety, and the tools are required to lower the spare tire... How could that miss their 150-point inspection and "road ready" inspection? Carvana offered $300 to address all identified issues and missing parts. Based on this offer, and because we had already completed a Kia dealer inspection and replaced the cabin air filter at our own expense, we reluctantly chose to keep the vehicle. read more

I recently bought my second vehicle from Carvana. First time...fast, easy, great experience. Second time...terrible. I bought the car, had it shipped and had an appointment to pickup on a Sunday at 730am, even got a confirmation CALL the evening prior. However, at 1:30am and again at 4:30am I received emails (no call, no text) stating that my appointment is rescheduled (no explanation). Thankfully I happened to look at my email before I headed over to the pickup location. So I called customer service and they were virtually no help and have no answers for me other than "I'm not sure," "We don't know why, this is corporate and that is on their end," "It shows there was a problem with registration (no further explanation)," & "I'm sorry for the inconvenience." Needless to say, this is a very stressful situation due to the last minute, vague, and brief rescheduling. I was supposed to trade in my current vehicle, so when I received the confirmation, I ended my policy for the pickup day. When I explained this, there was little to no concern. All in all, I am in a situation where I now have insurance on a car I don't have, and no insurance on a car that I have to drive for another week. On top of this, I was charged a non-refundable shipping fee on the vehicle, for what, I'm not sure, and it is expensive as I could have shipped it much cheaper on my own, but that's not an option. I am EXTREMELY disappointed this time around for the severe lack of proper communication and overall customer care. read more

Overall I am satisfied with my Carvana experience. But that's not to say there weren't some problems. First the good experiences. The Carvana website is very useful for shopping for a specific make model of the car you are looking for. The website is user friendly and easily explored. When I found the car I wanted to purchase, it was fairly easy to complete and verify the purchase went through. The first obstacle i encountered was my delivery date, I was pushed out due to "final repair" needed. I was ok with that seeing that a repair was being made. Then the date got pushed out again, this still didn't bother me to much. Then the date was moved up. Then there was some uncertainty and confusion with conflicting information from Carvana, but the delivery was finally made. I was very satisfied with the car i purchased appeared to be in. (2016 Camaro) All though there was an upholstery issue on the driver seat that was not noted on the website. Other than that the car was in good shape, and clean. I later had it detailed and it looked very nice. My wife and I used the car for a weekend trip and drove about 400 miles and the car drove really nice with no problems. A week later I drove to a function about 40 miles away and noticed a noise when I used the brakes. I took the car to my mechanic and discovered that the driver side brake pad and rotor needed to be replaced. The other rotors were checked and although worn were in working condition, I decided to have all four replaced. I addition to the rotors being replaced, the front two wheel hubs and bearing assembly had to be replaced. As of now the car is working properly. Again overall I am satisfied with the service Carvana provides, making the shopping experience more convenient and less stressful. I also realize that buying a used car from anyone includes certain risks, that was factored into my car buying decision. Even with Caravans claim of 150 checkpoints of car maintenance, some issues can be missed. If I were to be in the market for a used car in the future, I would still consider using Carvana. read more

Husband purchased a 2020 Tesla model 3 just about 2 weeks ago for his daily work commute, and all the information provided on Carvana's website during the purchase process shows that the vehicle has a clean title and the vehicle is free of accident or any major body damages/repairs. It was just yesterday when my husband visited one of his friends and then this friend checked the car and told him that the front bumper had paint job done and the fog light was loose, he then suspected that the car might have been involved in a collision. We then contacted the warranty department from Carvana, and since it's already past the 7 days return window, the Carvana warranty representative only willing to offer my husband to take the car to tesla service center to get it inspected and treating as in-network service center but still denying that the vehicle had involved in any collision. Today we took the car to tesla service in West Covina CA and the service center's technician told us that in order to get a better idea on the damage that this vehicle had we need to make a service appointment so then the technicians can actual pull out the bumper and the light fixtures but the closest appointment time we can make was two weeks from today. We then took the car to a Tesla certified body shop and the owner Andy was very helpful to do a preliminary inspection on the vehicle and then concluded that the front driver side has medium to major body job done, and he was suspecting that the headlight, fog light was "glued" in place in order to keep the repair cost to the minimum so that it won't get reported to DMV. Andy was surprised that for a company like Carvana would be selling this type of "repaired vehicle" to their customer without disclosing such information to the customer. At the moment we still have not able to get a hold of the warranty representative, and get a solution to this issue. Hopefully Carvana Ontario can see this review and then provide a proper solution to this situation. read more
