SITUATION: I called about a locking malfunction issue on my Q6 eTron. The cascade of issues that followed left me frustrated as a customer; poor communication and lack of service recovery from management prompted me to write my experience on Yelp. BACKGROUND: Issue #1: I arrived and was assigned to Alexis Torre. She informed me that they would perform a "software update" which requires my spare card key. I was NOT informed when I scheduled the service appt. and did not bring it. I was told they cannot perform the service. No apology from her. I had to return home with my kid in tow. Issue #2: At the time of scheduling an appt., the service call center confirmed an Audi loaner vehicle of equal SUV size. Alexis Torre informed me that an Uber would pick us up and take me to a rental center to pick up a car. I was blindsided by this change in their policy. Thankfully, the car rental representative had a better attitude. He was friendly and helpful. ASSESSMENT: Service call center and service representatives need training to catch these required items necessary to complete the "software update" and/or service. Alexis could try to be more empathetic to the situation and improve her verbal and written communication skills for better service recovery with customers to build relationships with returning clients. We have been looking for a car for our daughter, used 2023 Q5. We get interested in a car, then go to dealer, sit in chair - only to have them change what they can do on the car. So instead, I try to call this Audi dealer and see if they can meet our budget and save us the hour drive to talk deal on phone. I was told by sales they don't talk prices on phone, come sit in chair. Why do all these dealerships play the game of get the buyer in a chair and good/bad cop them. It's exhausting and frankly feels old school. We have money to buy a car and was hoping the sales team would give me the confidence to make that long drive to buy a car. First off let me say, I love my Audi. It's the 3rd one I've purchased. Recently (3 months) I bought a Q4 Etron . I have had so many issues. I brought it to Riverside first when I got a AC malfunction/ call service. They let it sit for a day and a half. Then called me to say that the warning went away and without a warning, there was nothing they could do. Talked me into doing an extended diagnostic. Kept it for a couple extra days so they could drive it around in hopes that the warning came back. Gave the car back after 4 days & didn't even work on it. I asked what happens when(not if) it happens again? They said oh, just being it back! 3 weeks later same warning AC Malfunction call service. This time I brought it to Ontario thinking maybe I'd have better luck....... Nope! They had it a week, called me to come get it, I picked it up everything seemed fine on the way home it stopped working! I called the next morning only to be told that I could bring it back in but that they were so busy due to it being end of the month I needed to wait until the following week to bring it in. Set up my appointment for 7am the following week (4 days later). My service contact was late to work, no apologies just blaming traffic! Took my car and said we'll see if we can have something for you tomorrow! I spoke with the manager of service the week before who stated "bring it in on Tuesday, we'll make it a priority! January 30, 2026 (update) I've had good experiences at the Audi Ontario Service Dept. before, especially with Brandon and Ralph, who were fantastic. Unfortunately, my visit on Friday, the 23rd, left me frustrated. I arrived for my 7:15 a.m. appointment on time, but no one acknowledged me initially, despite making eye contact with associates who were chatting. I stood there unsure of where to go until Ramon eventually spoke to me from his desk without getting up. The interaction felt distant and condescending, especially when he questioned the batteries in my key fob as if I had chosen something subpar. He also stood uncomfortably close at one point. When I mentioned a gas tank issue, he suggested we drive to a gas station, which had never been discussed beforehand. After the paperwork was completed, I drove off in the loaner only to realize the gas tank was nearly empty, showing about 35 miles left. It was inconvenient to have to refuel immediately when I was already trying to get to work. While Ramon did eventually assist and followed up later via text, the overall experience felt inconsistent. I also noticed other customers receiving faster and more accommodating service. I know Audi Ontario is capable of excellent service, as Brandon and Ralph have shown, but this visit left me questioning the consistency of customer care. I hope for more uniform and respectful service in the future. November 6, 2025 (initial) I recently had the pleasure of purchasing my first Audi at Audi Ontario, and I have to say Tania was absolutely outstanding. I just talked to the sales manager. He said that he made several attempts to contact me which I truly appreciate. He allowed me to voice all my concerns and questions. He listened and answered my concerns and explained how often people don't turn in both keys when they trade in a car (Please be considerate if you ever do find yourself in this situation. It is the new buyer who will suffer, not the dealership.) He offered to allow me to buy a key at cost, which still may be an expensive solution, as some are upwards from $500-$700. A really unpleasant experience with this dealership. First, the "manager" Shawn talked with me with aggressive attitude, which makes me feel uncomfortable already. Then he asked what down payment I can offer since I am about to finance the car. I said 20-30k, but then he gave me a 35k down....... and with 9.99 APR with 72 month. I said it was too expensive and he asked how much I want to do. I said 20-30k with 6.99 APR. He said that if I can do this for you, will you buy the car? So ok, you are possible to have this deal for me but you offer me more higher cost option??????? Second, the most thing makes me uncomfortable and end this deal is when I chat with my parents with the price, Shawn directly asks me " do you speak Japanese"??????????????????? I talked English at the whole time, how can you ask people like that and assume people's language without asking them first? This even makes me feel more uncomfortable, offensive, and being racially discriminated against. So at the end I decline the deal. Overall, this is a bad experience for me. I will not recommend people to go to Audi Ontario to have any deal. Also, after I post the negative review on Google, there is no manager or owner to follow up for my case. I called the general manager phone number and left voicemail but did not get any feedback. However, the google review that post after than mine get reply by the owner. Where do I even start. I've owned a 2024 Tesla Model Y and a 2022 Model 3. The Model 3 ended up being totaled after a minor -- and I mean very minor -- sideswipe. So I decided to sell the Model Y, break even on my loan, and upgrade to the new Q5. While doing research, I came across Audi Ontario, who offered me $1,000 more than another dealer (I had been quoted $31k elsewhere). After chatting with Emily, I was told to come in for an appraisal. I went on 11/23, and Jose told me they couldn't offer what Emily had stated in the text and informed me that "Emily is just an Assistant and shouldn't be making bold statements like that". From the moment I walked in, the experience was disappointing. No greeting, no acknowledgment -- nothing. You'd think a higher-end dealership would be eager to help a potential customer. During the appraisal, Jose noticed the Q5 I ultimately purchased from another dealer and dramatically asked why. The answer? Because the unprofessionalism started the second I got in touch with them. The next day, I reached out to speak with a manager. It took three phone calls just to get to the manager's voicemail. Eventually, the general manager called me back at 7:30 PM saying they would actually honor the offer and purchase the vehicle. Sales manager was supposed to get back with me twice according to the receptionist within 10 minutes. 2.5 hours later nothing Denise my salesperson hard to get a hold of. Says shes going to call me back Still waiting.2.5 hours and waiting .Didn't like the rate. They offered a 6.44 according to the salesperson and I called Bank of America. The rate that they're giving is a 5.64 so now that I'm trying to negotiate with them they don't want to call me back or respond to me cuz they want to make money off the back end. After I posted my initial review, the General Manager at Audi Ontario, Lizandro Cornejo, replied publicly with what looked like a sincere apology. He claimed the dealership took my concerns seriously and wanted to make things right. Unfortunately, that statement was completely misleading. After his public response, I personally called him. He told me he would apply to get the dealership approved to accept my Clean Air Grant and later emailed me confirming they were all set up. I have that confirmation in writing. Then I found out it was all a lie -- the dealership was never approved, and he later told another GM something entirely different. There was never any real effort to help, just empty words and false assurances to protect their image. This kind of dishonesty and lack of integrity is unacceptable, especially from a luxury brand like Audi. read more

This review is about my service experience, not sales. I brought my Audi A4 in due to vibrations when turning. A local mechanic suspected a software issue, so I went to Audi. They charged a hefty amount for a software update and front brake replacement. However, the vibration remained, and a NEW loud humming noise appeared immediately after the service. I contacted Audi, and while they agreed to recheck the vibration for free, they wanted to charge several hundred dollars to inspect the new noise--despite it starting after their work. They partially fixed the vibration, but it still occurs about 25% of the time when driving. I went to a local shop instead, where they offered a free inspection and found that Audi had accidentally left a rubber/plastic tool piece inside the brakes, causing the noise (picture attached). It's disappointing that Audi would have charged me to diagnose their own mistake. I have notified Audi and sent pictures of the tool left inside my car. I've gone to Audi before but this experience has made me reconsider using the dealership for service. I'll be going to local shops from now on for better service and better pricing! read more

I bought a Q7 with Anthony here earlier this year. I'll describe my experience here. I had narrowed my search to two nearly identical vehicles; one at Audi Santa Monica and one at Audi Ontario. The only difference was that the Q7 at Santa Monica was dark blue, and the one in Ontario was white. Same trim level, nearly identical mileage. I didn't have a significant color preference, so I met with both dealers. The Audi dealership offered me free crossbars ($500 value) but came in a little bit lower on my trade-in value ($500 lower), making the price a wash. I had an appointment, but had to wait around for a little bit. Anthony was very pleasant and professional and I was very pleased with the in person experience once they had time for me. I bought the car. I was upsold on the warranty, which I also paid for. But there were two issues in particular that were not apparent on my test drive and if it wasn't a lie by omission, I at least felt like they didn't care about it after they got the deal. Issue 1: The car turned out to have a severe case of "Audi rumble". This is not a safety issue but a comfort one. The car shakes violently when fully articulated (like in a parking lot) Luckily, it's covered under warranty (no cost to me). But it has still required multiple appointments and is a major inconvenience I wasn't expecting. I wonder if the santa monica car had this issue and I wish they alerted me to it. Issue 2: Their inspection claimed the brakes and pads had minimum10,000+ more miles before they would need any replacement. But just a few hundred miles later they began squealing like a goose getting molested. The rotors are grooved and need to be replaced in the near future. Perhaps this is just bad luck, and I understand it's not their problem, but I still wish I had the car inspected by a neutral third party. Another expense and hassle I wasn't anticipating on a vehicle represented as being in good shape. I reached out with my disappointment and asked if they might consider a discount on the ($500) cross bars (that Audi of Santa Monica was going to throw in) since I have spent too many trips servicing this car since I bought it. But they showed no interest in helping me out with that expense. Fine; they're not obligated to. Overall... meh. They are friendly and communicative, and fair pricing. But the car's condition has been disappointing based on their representations. And once they got my business, that seems just fine with them. They did fine, but I probably would not do business here again. read more

Unfortunately, further disappointment. I thought Mr. Lizandro Cornejo's, the General Manager of Audi Ontario, response and apology seemed sincere. However, after multiple attempts to reach him and a month's grace period, I have not received a call back at either of the numbers I provided for their convenience. I have spoken to other Audi dealerships and they said a plugged wheel should not have passed an Audi Certified inspection. I believe human error is always possible and grace should be extended for that, however, their lack of effort to rectify the problem is truly disheartening. An apology is nothing without sincere action to make amends. At this point, it makes me question the truth of this plugged tire, as well as, if any of the past complaints from other past buyers have actually been resolved. Then the salesman text me and we work out a deal this morning for a price that we agreed on and we were going to meet after I get off work to pick up the truck. And right before we get to the dealership, they text and tell me the truck sold to somebody else. I understand that it's a dealership and they sell vehicles to anybody that's there, but after he and I worked out a deal which is all on text he even told me congratulations and that he was going to pull the vehicle out and put it into detail for us to pick up, which would tell me that it wouldn't be available to be sold to anybody else. But that wasn't true. Now they won't even speak to me when I try to call and speak to Shawn the sales guy. The most unprofessional way I've ever bought a car and I bought plenty of them. Our family was given false pickup dates and then no follow up would take place. I understand something's are out of the dealers control but communicate it and follow up. I came in today and was extremely disappointed, especially considering this was my first time visiting an Audi dealership. I was ready to walk out with a car and had money prepared for a down payment, but the numbers I was given were outrageous. I was quoted a $39k down payment--more than half of the car's listed price--along with a $850 monthly payment on a 6-year loan. That makes no sense.
