I've been bringing my car to Allan for years now and I've never had a problem. From oil changes to emergency break services, to "I've got no idea why my car is just dead and won't turn on". These guys are the best! They help me with everything related to cars. Donald has saved me many times, specially the time I broke the Mass Air flow sensor and he soldered it back, I was so relieved that I did not have to spend more than $200 for a new one. I've had my power steering flushed here, differential (for my car and my dad's truck), Camber arms changed, Lower control arm bushings, sway bars and much more. I bought a G35 coupe with the famous gas gauge improperly reading gas. CarZone had the best price between some other Infiniti G35 specialist shops. Well my car 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R 2.5L died for the 16th time, shutting off whenever I was idle at a red light (see my recent/previous reviews on Universal City Nissan, Santa Monica Nissan and Nissan Consumer Affairs in Franklin, TN). So I take it into Donald here at CarZone and he spends this whole week testing it out, even driving it home to recreate the problem (as it wasn't shutting down at first). Finally it does, so he installs a a grounding kit (he told me problems with the Sentras include faulty thin wiring), and cleans a bunch of stuff, like the throttle body and fuel system. Then he spends another night and morning testing the car out to be sure it's working fine. Then I go up there this morning and he spends another 45 minutes with me driving around to make sure I'm happy and that the problem is fixed. Indeed it is - so far so good - fingers crossed. NOW THAT IS SERVICE!!!!! It was much less than I was expecting to spend. I'm hoping this has finally fixed my car. And on a plus, he said he has customers who would be willing to buy my car in a minute, that it probably wouldn't last 3 days if he parked it outside - so if you've been through the same hell with your Nissan as I have, you may want to talk to Donald about selling it for you. Anyhow, point being, Donald rocks! CarZone rocks! And this is the only place I'm ever taking my Nissan from now on. Oh, and I have to throw out a big thank you to William as well, as I found CarZone because William responded to one of my posts on a Nissan forum that I was forced to go to after the Nissan Dealership failed to fix my car 15 times due to Nissan mechanics' complete and utter incompetence. read more

I recently purchased a used 2003 Infiniti i35. I had looked all over the internet for information regarding this vehicle. Time and time again, my searches led me to Infinitihelp.com which is operated by the team at CarZone. As far as I could tell they were answering peoples questions from all over Canada and the USA. I figured if mechanics were that passionate about Infiniti cars that they would help people out (who probably will never visit their shop due to distance) I should bring my vehicle by. * These guys are top notch * Super friendly * Extremely knowledgeable * Fast * AMAZING price I brought in my newly purchased used i35. William looked it over, changed out the fluids and that was it. He didnt try and sell me on anything, he didn't charge me for resetting the passenger window motor which was out of whack. He adjusted the airbag to eliminate a rattle (again no charge). It looks like they love the car as much as I do. I will be bringing my car back all the time. It is truly a great feeling when you find a mechanic that you can trust... Side note: while waiting for my car, I noticed that an Infiniti dealer was bringing THEIR vehicles in to CarZone. Donald is the man! I have taken my 1994 Infiniti Q45 here twice. The first visit was to replace the fuel pump (buzzing like a bee hive) about 3-4 months ago. I ordered the fuel pump from amazon.com because they had a special. I brought it in and Donald replaced the fuel pump very quickly and at a fantastic price too. The second visit involved my engine making a loud winding/whirring noise. Donald took 30 seconds to diagnose the problem as the tensioner pulley. He said he would order the part and we scheduled an appointment a few days later to complete the repair. The repair plus an oil change took less than an hour! While I was waiting I chatted with William and he explained how he worked for Nissan for like 13 years. My car is one that requires a knowledgeable and experienced mechanic to work on it because it is pretty complicated, as most Infinitis are. I am extremely happy that Carzone is able to help me keep my Q45 running strong! I highly recommend that any Nissan or Infiniti owner bring their vehicle here. Honest! I appreciate honesty so much. I wanted to check my brakes prior to Vegas since my girlfriend refused to go unless my vehicle was safe. It had been screeching when braking and I was dubious I needed to change brakes since my car is new but decided to heed her advice since a fussy girlfriend is worse than a global apocalypse. I called first and they were friendly and took me in on short notice. The mechanic takes a look at my vehicle and inspects the brakes. He told me since they're circular brakes and my soft braking habits had allowed dust to build up. I asked him how much and he said no service, no charge. I'm inept in automotive repair (truthfully I'm inept in a lot of things but that's a different story). I could've been taken advantage and wasn't so for that I give these guys five stars. The warranty on my 2003 Infiniti g35 Coupe expired after a few year and while being a novice at car maintenance, due to the insanely high cost of service from Infiniti dealerships and thanks to outstanding posts, videos, and advice at g35driver.com I was able to do the majority of repairs on my own. However it was a huge hassle. After a few years of that, I discovered Carzone and there's been no looking back. William and Donald are honest as it comes in this business, they do a fantastic job in keeping up my car, and their prices are very fair...far below a dealerships price. A recent trip there required a ton of work. Keep in mind these are items the stealership recommended...and quoted $2800...including shocks, brakes, various lights, door locks, and a host of smaller items. Also keep in mind my car has 175,000 miles on it. So there's things that just stop working after 12 years and that many miles. I emailed Carzone like I usually do and set up an appointment. Upon arriving, Donald greeted me and asked me to wait a bit while they look the car over. After maybe 30 minutes he came back and gave me a detail of what needed fixing and what didnt(for instance even though the dealership recommended rear brakes, Donald told me exactly what the measurement was and how different it was from what the dealership claimed...imagine that...a car repair business that declines a service purely because they want to look out for their customer). The price quote was $1250 or so...compared to the $2800 the dealership quoted. So I left my car, had a friend pick me up, and got a call 6 hours later that the car was done. Paid, took the car and let me say that due to the new shocks, the car just ran flat out smooth. Another outstanding job by Carzone. So to recap, after several years of patronizing Carzone, my car still runs beast, has almost 180k miles, and looks to go another 180k more. I still have zero problem running it out to Vegas in the middle of an August day with 110 degree temperatures. I trust no one else with my car. I live in the South Bay now, but still take my car out to Carzone for anything more significant than maybe oil changes. William and Donald are fantastic, honest, and do very good work. read more

I am shocked that I hadn't written a review for these guys before. I have been going to Donald and William for over 5 years, now. They are absolutely the most competent, honest, astute, and personable mechanics I have ever encountered. That is really saying something, when you consider that I am 62, having had many cars and encountered many automotive situations in my life. Currently, I drive a 2006 Infiniti M35. Ever since the warranty on the car expired, I have been going to Car Zone. They are so versatile, they even work on my son's Ford Taurus. They honor appointments on the dot, and when I have experienced emergency problems, they have always immediately accommodated me. On a few occasions, I was "sure" that I needed some part replaced, when I really didn't. The guys at Car Zone told me that the parts in question were, in fact, perfectly serviceable, and that I needed no repair. Trust me when I say that there are many shops out there that would be more than glad to take my money, and would have simply replaced a perfectly good part if they thought they had me on the hook. Because of this shop and Donald, I started loving my car again. It's been a while since I had been having problems with my car's AC. Another mechanic at another shop told me that it just might be the engine getting overworked as I drive uphill frequently for work, so I thought it was just my car being poorly made. It was also previously repaired at another place with the AC reverting back to its problems sooner than later. However, when I came in, Donald said that if it's part of the car, it should work, and he even told me that he would inspect it for free and that hopefully it wouldn't cost a lot. I am so glad my dad and I found this place. Now, my AC works perfectly. As promised, Donald got my car back the same day of my appointment, so I could go to work later in the day. Every day, when I feel cool air, I feel so grateful. The total cost of repairs also ended up being half of what another location was trying to quote me, just for inspection! After inquiring in a few places, reading the reviews here, and finally calling Car Zone with Donald saying he would inspect it for free, I didn't hesitate to get my car fixed here. The reviews were real in that this place is truly honest. It is great that there is a car shop in the valley that is not only reliable and trustworthy but also skillful and fast. It makes me feel secure that they will do what needs to be done--not more not less--and will finish it as quickly as possible without unnecessary delay. I've been with him to CarZone a couple times, and one of the times, he was getting a 60,000-mile service done, which takes a couple hours. William was nice enough to offer us the use of his OWN car so we could drive to get something to eat nearby! We were planning our wedding at the time, and we ended up going to a fantastic coffee shop so we could set up the laptop and get some wedding stuff done. Bring in the car Donald assured me that he know evreything about Infiniti and Nissan and that he worked at dealer for many years., i fell for that. I asked him to do the inspection on my car since i have high idle in the morning and rough when the car gets hot, he said he is going to check it and if i decide to go with reapir with his shop inspection is free i didn't wanted to be a douchebag so i said ok here are the spark plugs (i provide them) change them and so the inspection and I'll pay you for that, is that ok? Deal-Deal. Left him car over the weekend and he said "i will call you on Monday at noon" On Monday: I had to call him at 2pm I went over there start the car rpms high once the car got tot the operting temp idle is still poor, car is sputtering and stalling, i had two OEM clamps on intake hose both of them are missing, they had some duct tape on my windshield didnt even cleaned it, got invocie of 140$ for labor only for the spark plugs. So in the end when all sums up I've lost money, my car didn't get fix, it didn't get diagnosed, I've waited for 3 days for one hour job, never got a call back, missing parts, windshield not cleaned do your due diligence people go to the dealer this is ridiculous!!!! read more
