Well, it's official -- this place is my go-to mechanic from here on out! Harry & Team have now serviced all 3 of our family cars...the latest being AvoCARdo who needed a bunch of TLC that we've been putting off. She runs like a dream now and hasn't had this much attention since we got her 3 years ago. Harry took the time to explain all of the options I had for repairs and prioritized the ones that were urgent. Unfortunately, there were more "this shouldn't be put off" then I'd planned for but we still came in under budget for what I would've paid anywhere else. He texted me updates and took the time afterwards to show me each of the parts that needed to be replaced. He also spent time talking about a few things I need to be on the lookout for in the coming months. Service at this location is sooooo much better than Burbank location. Last week I went to Burbank location to have my service B done. Not only did they fail to honor my appointment, but the mechanic failed to reset the service warning lights. Because of the experience I had at that location (see other review), I did not want to go back there. I called Naz at this Van Nuys location and asked him if they could do the reset. I actually arrived 30 mins before my scheduled appointment and Naz immediately got to work with no lag time. Service was quick and excellent. I came in needing a new tire for my Dodge Ram -- I had a working spare on the truck and the bad tire (still on the rim) in the back. I spoke with Harry several times throughout the process, and his honesty, professionalism, and integrity really stood out. He initially quoted me a price that felt a bit high, so I told him I wanted to shop around. Not only was he understanding, but he also went the extra step to recheck his system and came back with a better quote. After checking other shops, no one could beat his final price -- especially considering it included mounting, balancing, and alignment. Once I confirmed the quote over the phone, Harry ordered the tire. He called the next day when it arrived and was flexible, telling me to come in whenever I could. When I finally came in, they were busy, and Harry had the good sense to suggest I just leave the rim with the bad tire so they could mount and balance the new one while I was out. Gentlemen over the phone told me I could bring my car in right away but I might need to wait depending on how busy they were. Right when I arrived I was greeted before I entered the building. I told them what was wrong with my tire. To my surprise my tire was patched right away. I was in and out of there in 10 minutes! My first experience with Harry was when I bought four tires from him at a very reasonable cost. I then returned two months later to have a nail removed from one of the new tires at no cost. I returned a third time to have my air conditioner repaired and a drive belt replaced. On each occasion, I found Harry to be knowledgeable, courteous, fair, and honest.
