I know enough about cars to do most work myself. This is the first time I have taken my truck to a shop as I don't trust most places. I called this place and they were super friendly. Took my car in a few days later and explained my problem. I pretty much knew what the problem was and Donald said exactly what I knew needed to be fixed (Fuel Pump) and nothing else. When he called and said my car would ready soon, I asked him to recharge my AC. He quickly did that too. He then gave me the diagnosis (warped rotors and need for new brake pads) and made sure to explain questions regarding the car parts that needed fixing as I am NOT a vehicle connoisseur. This review's been a long time coming, sorry for the delay William! Have been taking my cars to CarZone since 2009. Miller Infiniti had wanted upwards of ~$900 for a 30k mi service. Browsed around online, saw CZ and called them up. IIRC it was only ~$250ish or so (they knocked off $20 for not needing to replace the in-cabin air filter) with same day service. I was in and out as fast as could be expected. Ever since then, I've been a regular customer with over two dozen visits for easy things like oil changes to brake service to my various aftermarket modding adventures - Donald, William, Allan, Christian, and Pedro have continually provided great professional service. They are always patient with answers to any questions that I may have, and explain things in a simplified manner so that even someone like me can understand what/why/how they're doing what they're doing. Never once have they tried to upsell nor get me to buy or get service that was not really needed. And that's rare in the auto repair business. The thing about everyone recommending their own mechanic is that in their own experience it's probably true - great service and reasonable pricing will make for a returning customer. But not only does CarZone have great service and honest diagnosing, they do it at pretty much the most inexpensive rates in the Valley from my experience. I've referred over 20+ family members, friends, and other Infiniti/Nissan owners from various forums, and not one ever had a bad experience here. Not one. And all that haven't moved away are still repeat customers at CZ. Great guys, honest diagnoses, rock bottom pricing is the standard not the exception at CarZone. As long as I'm anywhere in Southern California I'll continue to take my cars there and recommend them to anyone that's looking for an honest and reliable auto repair shop. I nub you guys! read more

We all know when it comes to car service that sometimes it can be a hassle and overpriced and become a nightmare. Not with CarZone though! I had to get my rear brakes done and had an issue with a tire sensor and brought it into Allan and they got right to work! The staff is friendly and courteous and they don't try to upcharge you or sell you anything extra. If you want honest mechanics with excellent service bring your vehicle here! I believe they specialize in Toyota and Nissans which is why I was inclined to bring in my vehicle and glad that I did. Back in 2009, I wanted to find an alternative to the dealership to service my brand new Infiniti G37. By sheer luck I found William and Donald's shop soon after they had just opened CarZone for business. They are Infiniti/Nissan specialists and, unbelievably, have gotten a glowing recommendation from my service adviser at my local Infiniti dealership! For the last 2 years I have had most of my maintenance performed by CarZone and I am completely satisfied with their work. Stay away from this place. Drove out from OC to have my Akebono brakes installed on all four corners. Got the car back, everything seemed fine. The next day in OC, my car wouldn't start. Had it towed to a local shop, and had them pull the code. It was something related to the transmission. Mind you, at this point I had the car for over 5 years and some 70k miles on it. How the heck do you mess up the transmission while working on the brakes?!?! The mechanic there also mentioned how they did a messy job on modifying the dust shields. Thank goodness for AAA. this happened on a Sunday, so on Monday morning I had triple A flatbed the car all the way from Orange County to the valley. The guys at Carzone said everything was fine so I had to get a ride from OC to the valley to pick up my car, and drove it back. I didn't think anything of it after that. Took my car to get my 90k service done at Corner 3 Garage last weekend (where they actually have a REAL Nissan master tech), and they called me and asked who installed the brakes. I asked why, and they let me know that on all four calipers, the pins that hold the brake pads down were put in the wrong way. They told me that the pins looked forced in as this is not a pin that can easily be put in the wrong way. Luckily, the brakes were not damaged but this is just another sign of the incompetence at Carzone. Installing brakes incorrectly can lead to disastrous results and I was quite upset when I heard the news about their installation error, besides the fact that my car wouldn't start one day after they installed my brakes. Be very careful if you decide to get anything more than an exhaust put on at this shop. This shop does get rave reviews on g35driver, but be forewarned as my personal experience says it all. read more

I needed to replace my headlight blub ASAP - thought I could do it myself but couldnt. Brought in the bulb about 10 mins before they closed and they replaced it for me. Fast, and cheap! So I went back a few days later to get my oil changed, and my breaks done. He mentioned that my back breaks also needed work, but rather than tell me them I should get them done right then and there (like most shops) he gave me a specific milage it would last. CarZone is the place to go! I had a huge problem with my 2007 Scion TC not starting correctly and having to reset the battery every time or go as far as buying a portable jumper to jump my car. The thing is I had brought my car to another mechanic who has completed ALL work on my car for the past 2 years. When i brought it to them they stated the alternator, the starter, the terminals and the battery was working that there is nothing wrong with it. A month 1/2 passes by and then my car decided to start acting up again. Long story short I was extremely frustrated and did not want to bring it back to the original mechanic cause he was rude and even went as far as saying "Are you sure its not you?" really?! So due to yelp reviews and everyone stating CarZone was honest. I had called them previously on some questions regarding headlight and they were very courteous and respectful I decided to bring my car in. The moment i brought in Allan looked over my car and stated that the previously company had placed the terminals upside down! Which is why my car would not get any power to start my car correctly. Something SO SIMPLE that could've been fixed. The only issue I had was locating it, it is in a parking lot that you would have to drive in to see the sign. But I was able to find it quickly. The service at CarZone was amazing, they didn't make me feel stupid, they answered all my questions and was able to get me out in a timely manner. I feel safe and trust CarZone with any of my car needs and will continue to bring my car for maintenance. You will not regret it! Will and Allan are the best! read more

Each time I've been met with outstanding customer service and at about half the cost of the stealership. They even had someone drop me off and pick me up at a starbucks for a longer repair. When it comes to getting work done on your car I think we all tend to cringe just thinking about it. Luckily we have Yelp and more important common sense! (Well at least some people do) It was time for my 15k oil change and tire rotation. I called the dealer they quoted $120, I was literally on my way there but decided to Yelp other options. Carzone was the second place I tried, first place I called and they couldn't do it for at least two hours. Also their price was $100. This is my first review ever and the reason I am writing this is because their service truly deserves one. I am totally skeptical when it comes to taking my care to an outside mechanic as I have no clue whatsoever when it comes to car repairs. I always got my Infinitis (FX-35 and G-37) serviced at the dealer until I saw a post by Donald on one of the forums and decided to try them out. . Below is my comparison of Carzone with Infiniti dealer Price: Oil change - Not much difference Other services - considerable difference depending on the work Customer service: Excellent. They take time to explain the problem and even show you what's causing the problem. Quality of work: Impeccable - never had to take my car back again for the same problem which happened quite often with Infiniti dealer(s) Above all, it's their HONESTY. That's what is bringing them the business and I would like to contribute to it by taking some time to write this review. They don't try to sell you unnecessary work. Donald is a great guy. I have used CarZone over the past 3 years for servicing many of my vehicles. He is always going the extra mile. Recently my 2001 Corvette was mis-firing. Was not sure what the problem was. It seemed obvious also by the diagnostics that one of the fuel injectors had gone bad. Donald measured and tested everything and found out, the fuel injector was perfectly fine, he was able to nail down the problem and found some wiring issues that he fixed. I ended up paying just a 100$ while I am sure in another shop they would have probably replaced the injector and charged me much more money. These days it is hard to find people who are as honest as Donald. He is the mechanic of my choice. read more

I've taken my 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Spchd to them twice. Once about a month ago, and today. In both cases, they did NOT charge me a RED CENT even after thoroughly checking for an explanation/cause of the problem which I reported (apparent rear break light malfunction, smog check unable to be completed). In the first case, after checking for about 20 minutes, the problem 'spontaneously' disappeared. NO CHARGE (I gave them a tip anyway). Today, they did a quick check and directed me to a nearby Star Smog Station, Their explanation for the aborted smog test turned out to be right on the money. 20 mins later I drove away from the nearby Star Smog test station without a care in the world. This is an excellent car repair shop. The mechanics are excellent and they ARE HONEST. read more
