Since my friend is one of the Road Managers & Casa Amigos was the destination for the After Party (& promised me I wouldn't have to stand...lol) we came to the club. Although our seating was secured & comfortable, outside the velvet red ropes, Casa Amigos is the "turn-up" place for Old Scottsdale's Nightlife. Aside from being 21 to enter, a little bit of everyone was present in dancing, drinking, kissing, & enduring shot contests...effortlessly & continuously. Not to mention the entertaining show of the Bottle Girls aka Casa Bellas traveling in the air via a convertible mock car carried by Security. Except for the many bus persons constantly clearing glasses & trash, I didn't see any Servers (aside from VIP) floating around as customers were ordering from the massive bar. This two-level building also hosts Skylanes - a six interactive lanes mini bowling alley located on the upper level. There's also a small patio with a few tables & chairs adjacent to the entry line. First, this looks like a crazy late evening bar, but I was there for an Alumni College Football event. Positives: Great TV's, sound system and DJ. Location opened early for our event with a limited menu. You get charged a 5% venue fee and automatic 22% tip which is reasonable for opening early for a private event. Negatives: The black cloth seating at every booth area was disgusting while tables and floors were not cleaned and sticky. When you see the late evening pictures, you start to imagine what fluid has stained all the seats. Glad I didn't have a black light. Only negative part of the experience was that I have an out of state ID (Oregon) and they needed 3 bouncers to look at it, and made me pull up information/settings in my phone. This place was disgusting. Security let under age girls in and made my friends and I wait in line even though we were on guest list for a table. We were right behind the underage girls. I watched security pocket money and let the girls right in. Once we got inside the floor was so sticky and drinks were split every where. The bartender made terrible drinks and served my friend a dirty cup with Lip stick on the ring of the cup.... The music was so out dated and loud.... I also filed a complaint with the police and called the health inspector. Since your "Manger" doesn't treat patrons well. He Just looked dumbfounded when I asked them to clean up the vomit all over the sinks in the restroom. It smelt so bad.... Do not recommend wasting your time or money at this place. I am writing to express my deep frustration and extreme disappointment. Following my experience at a establishment in Scottsdale called Casa amigo. I was very excited to come and visit this place I have come through multiple times throughout my years instead of that nostalgic feeling, I was met with false accusations and rudeness that were quite disrespectful not just to myself, but the group that invited me out to the establishment. To provide some context, I am very aware of certain activities that occur within the establishment, not just during, but also after business hours, and it was quite disheartening to be accused of behavior. I did not engage in, especially when accusations come from team members and management quite few that I know personally, I can prove from social media. I also had a terrible and unfortunate experience of speaking with Casamigos general manager. Andrew Young on the phone, and I was shocked by how condescending and dismissive he was not just with his tone, but how he spoke to me he falsely accuse me of making threats when in fact, all I was stating was that your establishment wasn't doing proper business and my family works for the Better Business Bureau. His response however, was to maintain a dismissive stance and portray in arrogant tone, portraying that his position within a well known establishment and venue somehow made him immune to take accountability for his staff. I was not making threats. I was merely just expressing how I was being treated in establishment that I always gave high regards to. The staff handled the situation with an apparent lack of professionalism, prejudice, and very discriminated towards me. I felt treated as if my words and actions were of no value, and I was made to feel as though I was beneath everyone else at the venue. Making me feel publicly, embarrassed, and quite disrespected. This will also be posted not just to Google, but the Better Business Bureau and yelp my intentions is not to damage the Club's reputation, but to make it very clear that the way I was treated it was unacceptable and to encourage improvements to ensure that no other. Customer is subjected to similar treatment. I also would like to emphasize that my family is taking a personal loss of a child, and I am deeply offended by the general manager, making remarks about his personal life while attempting to dismiss my concerns. My son has recently passed. My brother. Also just killed himself for New Year's and I've had multiple other deaths in my family this past year and for the first time going outside in multiple years, I chose to go to that club for two days out of my stay here in Arizona And I do not appreciate the attempt to minimize my legitimate concerns with references to personal matters I hope and trust that you will take this complaint serious and ensure that steps are taken to address the improper conduct I experience during my visit. I've been going to casa since I turned 21 in 26 now and have never been treated with such disrespect by security. As everyone knows this night club gets EXTREMLY packed as they don't care about the max people allowed in the building. I'm sure if a fire Marshall was there they'd be more cautious but since they are money hungry they pack everyone in like a can of sardines barley able to move. I was pushed in the crowed and almost fell over so I instinctually put my arm up to grab on to something or someone and about 5 minutes later a security GRABS my arm and starts screaming at me that "if I push any other person he'll kick my ass out of the club" When trying to explain to him I didn't push anyone I was the one pushed he said "hey calm down" I hadn't even had a drink yet and was actually pretty calm and then he continues to say "if I see it again I'll fucking kick you out" I started to ignore him and he finally left me alone. My friends and I were looking to brunch and get some bottomless mimosas on a Saturday. We walked over to Maya first, and they were charging an $1800 minimum so we said definitely not and walked across the street to Casa Amigos. We got sat right away at a great table and they had no minimum so we were relieved. They had great pricing on food and bottomless. Our server was AMAZING. I didn't realize I was standing by the firework thing they use whenever bottle service comes out but the security dude didn't even ask me to move, just pushed me aggressively out of the way. A 25% GRATUITY IS AUTOMATICALLY ADDED! A couple weekends ago, myself along with a few coworkers show up and this place is extremely crowded and hot. When we finally make our way to the bar to order a drink, we wait about 15 to 20 minutes before we're acknowledged. My friend and I order a drink and a shot each. Instead of giving us a physical receipt with a total, the bartender verbally tells us the total amount due. He tells us it'll be $80 total. So my friend and I pay, and us being bartenders as well, give him a decent tip on top of the already extremely over-priced drinks. We later found out that a 25% gratuity was already included. If an establishment is going to add an automatic gratuity to every bill, then it should definitely be clearly stated and communicated somehow to every customer especially if there is no physical receipt being delivered. How else are we supposed to know that a 25% gratuity is already added. That is an extremely shady way of running a business and such an awful way to take advantage of your customers. And I'm pretty sure it's illegal. Needless to say I will not be returning. I do, however, just want to give everyone a heads up and let them know that a 25% AUTOMATIC GRATUITY IS ADDED TO EVERY BILL. read more
