The coffee was great got the 3Leches coffee hot and my daughter got the Masa pan latte they were crazy good. There service was A-1 the guy and the lady work were so nice and helpful. I've been wanting to visit Casa Azul for a while. I finally did and I love this cute little spot. Tucked in a neighborhood in North Side near the Stockyards. Inside is quaint, and plenty of seating, great artwork, and very aesthetically pleasing. Their espresso is top notch and pretty high octane. I usually request 5/6 shots of espresso, and I think I've developed an immunity to it; but their 5 shots of espresso sent me flying. Luckily they have a great outdoor space as well just in case you need a little fresh air to shake it off the jitters. The Baristas are super friendly and I had wonderful conversations with them. Loved this spot! I loved decor and how open the space was. Thought the kids corner was a nice touch. I tried the Mexican Mocha which wouldn't typically be my go to because I don't like really sweet drinks, but this was sooo well balanced! Very delicious. Checked out this gem a couple of weeks ago. I love that this is a family run coffeeshop. There are plenty of places to park, sit and electric outlets. The light blue wall of plants is a nice touch. They have a couch inside that looks comfy and they have touches of Hispanic culture throughout the shop. The barista was helpful and I decided to go with one of her recommendations for drinks. I ordered the iced tres leches latte which was just what I expected refreshing with plenty of sugar. I can't wait to return and I'm grateful it's close by. read more

Second time stopping at Casa Azul while in FW and I love it more every time! It's so welcoming and feels like a community hub from the moment you walk in. With so many neighborhoods gentrifying across the area, I hope this place can continue to stick around and keep its community feel. One of the most unique and homey coffee shops I've been to. Love the Mexican inspired menu and the fresh conchas were a delicious treat. The inside of the casita is spacious with cute seating and decor. Loved the plants outside as well. I tried the marzipan oat latte. Sweet and tasty. Funky joint in North Fort Worth. The owners and employees make you feel at home, probably because it's in an old home. Great atmosphere and somewhat eclectic with the decor. They have a drive-thru, which I've never used. The breakfast tacos and salsas are very tasty. They have a great selection of specialty espresso drinks and good ol' cup-o-joe. Located quietly near the stockyards, you would never know entering the blue house would make you forget where you were. Although parking space may be limited there is a ton of street parking. The inside is set up with a ton of comfortable seating ranging from couch like seating to table seating. This isn't your normal coffee shop. Lighting is great and the walls are decorated in a very picturesque manner. A family owned business that truly enlightens the community. My favorite drink is the cafe de olla. The first time I tried it, it instantly reminded me of my child hood and my mother. That's what a great cup of coffee does for you. Yes Starbucks and dunkin coffee is great. But that's it, it's just generic coffee. Casa azul coffee is not generic coffee. The menu ranges with different Mexican inspired drinks and flavors. You certainly wouldn't find this at a chain coffee shop. As a native New Yorker I distinctly remember walking to the bodega and getting a cup of coffee on a cold winter morning. Or all the cups of coffee I would drink to stay up all night to study in college. The cafe de olla at caza azul teleports me back to those memories as a young person. It's worth every sip. The owner Joseph is a genuine, funny, and friendly person. Hear his story it's inspiring for sure. His family who you might run into from time to time in the coffee shop are amazing and you can tell they pour there hearts into every cup of coffee. I'm a bit insufferable when it comes to my coffee, and there are only a handful of coffee shops in Fort Worth that I believe are worthy of a 5 star review. Casa Azul is now one of them. I came here on a Saturday morning for a quiet spot to read, and I was blown away by the quality and craft of the coffee and pastries. They sources their beans from Counter Culture Coffee Roasters, and they had a wide variety of conches (Mexican sweet bread). The first sweet bread I got was so good, I had to go back for a round two before I left! They were also priced at around $2.00, and were the size of my head. The inside was pretty much what I expected - a spacious interior with plenty of seating, some couches, and a little play area for kids. If there was one word I'd use to describe it, it'd be "quaint." Modest designs/furniture, and nothing too w All in all, Casa Azul is a humble shop that isn't trying too hard to be something they're not.
