By far the best cigar bar in SoFlo. Entertaining, great staff and good drinks. Entertainment when I was there.

I have been coming here for years and it is consistently wonderful - but I had such a great experience this afternoon that I was finally compelled to leave a review. I came in needing to get special cigars for a very special occasion this weekend. While Alex is also extremely helpful and very knowledgeable, he was not on this afternoon and instead it was Shia who was able to help me. Shia easily spent a half hour with me in the humidor, carefully providing suggestions and even went as far as to ask what we would be drinking to ensure the perfect pairing. I'm pretty experienced when it comes to cigars, but Shia's level of knowledge was really impressive. I walked away with some history about the cigars I picked and it will make for a great conversation. It's consistent service like this that makes for my continued patronage over the years. I visited last Saturday. This is a very beautiful bar. It's a wonderful place for the cigar lover. The girls behind the bar were awesome! I enjoyed my favorite Scotch Balvenie 14 straight! Only complaint I could offer was seeing the Russian Manager standing around watching the girls run around working. They didn't stop. They could definitely use a extra hand. This is the quintessential place for a guys night out. I would venture to say that 85% of the patrons are cigar smokers. Its very posh and plush and the service is exceptional. I myself are not a smoker so its challenging sometimes because of the second hand smoke but all in all its perfect for those who do smoke. The drinks are strong and the menu just on the whisky side is second to none. The selections for drinks in general is very complete. I don't know if they have a kitchen for finger foods. The bartender never did offer a menu for that. I think that would be a nice option. read more

Came in with a few friends for a cigar and catch up. Hugggggeeeee selection of cigars and a full bar with a real wide variety of liquors. Place was full. Fun ambiance. Heat game was on. Nice setting and concept, but staff was incredibly rude. We showed up as a party of 4 almost 2 hours before closing. We purchased cigars, ordered drinks, and were told immediately after starting the cigars that it would be last call. We thought that to be strange since it was slightly earlier than expected, but we figured "no worries" and went outside. We went outside to use high tops to talk and drink, and the "server" (or whatever the term is) outside huffed about us being around he tables and had us move. We thought this also to be strange, so we went inside and asked the bar tender if we were ok being outside still, she said yes. Maybe 10-15 minutes later, the manager came out and said it was "that time". We said that they said they were open, they blamed it on lack of volume. Now, I completely understand keeping your business open to accommodate guest volume and that you have a team that wants to get cut to go home. What was really disappointing was the fact that they had no problem selling us cigars and drinks only 20-30 minutes before they kicked us out. So not only did we waste our cigars, our time there was spent feeling bad and trying to not be a pain to the clearly annoyed staff. Next time, tell us you are closing soon, rather than taking our money and showing us the door. read more

Absolutely a first class place. After getting tired of watching the first 3 games of the NBA finals at the crazy madhouse Brus Room!!, I figured I wanted to find a place where I could just relax with my friends after a hard day of work and enjoy the game instead of pushing through a bunch of rowdy people and looking for servers all over the place just to get a drink...And god , did I hit the jackpot... Prime Wine and Cigar bar, is a replica of those five star lounge bar's with a classy and country club ambiance and where the intoxicating aroma of cigar and spirits wants one to just kick back and enjoy the good life. Service was very cordial and attentive and the manager came and checked on every table after every half hour. We sat outside which was perfect on this warm breezy night because the place did get super packed due to the game and hence more smoky... They do not serve any food but i did notice one of the tables getting food delivered from one of the neighboring sushi restaurants. Overall one of the best bar experiences for me in Boca Raton. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy their drink in an upscale comfortable environment. The staff really treats there customers top notch, especially two of the bartenders that go far beyond all of our expectations, Sunny and Ashley are by far two of the best bartenders you will ever experience. Terrible experience! I have been to plenty of Cigar Bars throughout the country and this one is by far the worst. The crowd is a mixture between the VH1 show "Mob Wives" and the Sopranos. The cigar I had was stale and the guys are creepy. Overall, would not suggest wasting your time at this trashy place. read more

Been waiting for this place to open and boy was it worth the wait! It's breathtaking. Rich woods and classy furnature fill out around the large rectangular main bar with every scotch, bourbon, and whiskey imaginable! Not to mention a huge cigar selection in their walkin humidor. Great selection of boutique and mainstream wines by the glass and bottle. HD TV's for sports and news rounds everything out nicely. Open fairly early (11am) and definately late (2am on the weekends) this place is not to be missed. It's right across the parking lot from the Hooters off Glades. This is hands down the creme Dela creme of cigar bars. I've been coming to Prime cigar bar for nearly 3 years and been a member now for 3 months. Nice upscale atmosphere awesome vibe of music and best of all is their service... My favorite bartenders are Sunny, Tayla, and Kayla. Sunny of course being the best because she's been there the longest but also she has got the bar thing locked down, I just wish they had her on schedule for more days than some of the other girls who aren't as good as she is! Casa de Montecristo by Prime in Boca is by far the best cigar bar in south Florida. I highly recommend you to check out his gem! Great place to light up and enjoy a cigar, plenty of room to relax and not feel out of place. Always a good time.

I usually swing by this bar once a month, or so. My buddies & I love the atmosphere, the cigar selection, and the great wine & scotch options as well. We have had a few "guys nights," but it's perfectly fine to bring wives & girlfriends as well. The staff is always friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Here on business. First night bar half full service was fantastic. Next two nights 3/4 service was really bad. Manager was recruiting bartender for a bar in Miami while I was waiting for another drink with an empty glass. Time was 20+ minutes from empty glass to next drink. Bartenders seemed annoyed to get another glass of wine. Would have left if I didnt have cigar and they didnt take card for tab. No smiles. read more

Great location big and lots of places to sit smoke and have drinks. Excellent humidor on site and reasonable prices. The downside is the bar where they charge top $$ for drinks but use measured pours. I thought I was in Utah not Florida. $14 Tito and it's all ice w 1 shot. Stick to beer, also no food and not a fan of having to order from neighboring Hooters, pizza or Asian place who deliver. So close to being a great place and bar issue is an easy fix if they care. read more

Great lounge and a nice selection of cigars. However, their cigars are mostly higher-end and all are expensive, and they only allow members into open areas of the lounge. There was no one there, I bought a $200 box of Opus X, and was told that I could not sit in the member area. read more

I generally have excellent service here and love the selection of cigars. But service has taken a terrible dive since they've lost Shia(??). I am in here at a slow time, the bartender and manager are sitting at a table chatting with other people. There is no one behind the bar. And again, it's not because they are busy, there is just no bartender behind the bar because they are chatting. I've been sitting with an empty glass for 20 minutes, and my drink of choice tonight is $20 a drink, you think they'd be eager to refill it, so I guess it's time to go elsewhere. If you want to sit down all night and not talk or engage customers then don't be in the service industry.
