My husband, my mother-in-law, and I came here for breakfast, and we had such a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious and tasted very authentic. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito with Rosita's Pancakes to share, and those pancakes were honestly to die for, so soft and flavorful! My mother-in-law ordered the Enchiladas Verdes, and she loved them. We also ordered a side of chorizo, which was incredibly tasty. The beans were some of the best I've had, and even the regular coffee was amazing. My mother-in-law had the Café de la Olla, and she couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about this place. It's peaceful, beautifully decorated, and definitely has that cute, Instagram worthy vibe. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, TVs, a full bar, and clean restrooms. Service was excellent! Melvin was so kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes, even though the restaurant had customers, which really impressed us. I also loved that they bring the check and payment machine right to your table instead of making you walk up to the cashier. The restaurant is handicap accessible, located on the ground floor, and has plenty of parking, which is a huge plus since Maclay can get pretty busy. They also have both physical menus and QR code menus if you prefer to order digitally. I saw another table order the molcajete, and it looked incredible. It's definitely on my list for next time because we will absolutely be back! Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Mexican breakfast, great coffee, fast service, and a relaxing atmosphere. We ordered the pancakes, Chilaquiles Divorciados, and café de olla... and let's just say there was absolutely nothing left on the plates by the end The pancakes were fluffy, buttery, and hugeee. Perfect balance of soft in the middle with that golden edge on the outside. The café de olla paired so well with everything too -- warm, comforting, and one of those drinks that instantly makes breakfast feel 10x better. But the Chilaquiles Divorciados?? Whew. Those stole the show. The steak was flavorful and tender, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the sauces brought everything together without making the chips soggy. Every bite was good. Also wanted to give a shoutout to Melvin for the amazing customer service. Super attentive, checked in on us throughout breakfast, and made the whole experience feel welcoming. The rest of the staff was really kind too, which honestly makes a big difference when trying a new place.
