The owner was also very attentive to both the staff and guests, making sure everything ran smoothly and that everyone had a great experience. Drove 30 minutes to get here because we saw them on Tik Tok. This was a Saturday. We were seated fairly quickly. However, the service was sooo slow. We waited around 30+ minutes for two orders of food to arrive and the waitress wouldn't even show her face to say anything. I understand that when opening a new restaurant they might still be figuring things out but I think the management should step up and at least compensate customers for their patience. I was very disappointed. The food wasn't even great either. I had already seen a lot of reviews stating the same thing but I decided to give them a chance anyway and well they were right. However, the chips were tough and not crispy the way I like to eat chilaquiles. Also, there is a charge to add egg to the order and the portions are rather small. Customer service especially needs serious improvement most of the staff had attitudes that made the experience even worse. There are so many better restaurants in San Fernando, so I definitely wouldn't recommend wasting your time here. I don't recommend this place.Went there yesterday for father's day .When placing our order they didn't have molcajete ask for another dish they didn't have gorditas they were out.Also ran out of beans since the morning no chips or salsa at that place.They should of told us when we sat down that they were limited on food instead of telling us when we placed our order. They brought out food for one person in the party after an hour and did not bring out the other two plates until she was almost dine with her food about 20 mins later. Don't waste your time dining at La Cocina de Rosa. When my mom and I got there in the morning we were told it was gonna be 20 minute wait maybe less which we were okay with. While we were waiting outside there was only one other two person group waiting and we were after them. More groups came by and the largest was a 8 person group who they sat next since they had a large table available. That was fine, totally understandable. We kept seeing small groups of twos and fours walk out and thought we were getting seated soon. We started getting annoyed when they sat 4 person table after us when they had gotten there maybe 10 minutes after us. When they were escorting them inside, the same waitress looked at me and mispronounced my name called me "Laura" despite me spelling it out to her earlier just in case. But she didn't tell us anything else and just wanted to see if we were still there. Didn't offer an explanation or another estimate of when we were getting seated. Two minutes afterwards they sat another group of two who had gotten there 5 mins before we left. It was at that point that we left. 30 minutes of waiting with no explanation. It wasn't until 5 minutes after we left that they called to let us know the table was ready. Didn't get to try the food but I wouldn't bother with service like that. Hearing that the city of San Fernando has been opening new places to eat was exciting for me. I have lived in San Fernando for 15 years. The servers were friendly. We wanted to try a little of everything. we had the Parmesan fries not impressed. The other potatoes on the appetizer side were really good. Forgot the name. Molcajete was really good. Sopes were also good. Chilaquiles were ok. Chorizo con huevos the chorizo was sooo burned. Pancakes were bland not impressed.
