We went to Casa del Cabo for dinner while on vacation this month. All four of us absolutely loved everything we ate!!!

This place is a must visit! Everything we ordered was SO good, the waiter was kind and attentive, loved the outdoor seating!

This was a happy find. Good cocktail menu (I had a yummy Mezcal Manhattan). Had an extraordinary chowder (truly one of the best I have ever had) which was a seasonal specialty soup of the evening. Also not to be missed was the mussels, dollar special rubbed smoked happy hour wings and tasty oysters. While I wont be in Eastham as frequently during fall its nice to know they will remain open till Dec 15th or so Tues -Sat. I'll definitely be back. read more

We had a fabulous dinner tonight. The monk fish special , shrimp tacos, chicken tacos , pork cutlet, Street corn and flan con queso we're all fabulous as were the margaritas. Taylor was attentive as our waiter and gave great recommendations. Would definitely recommend this restaurant! read more

This place was a great find on the upper Cape. Tucked inside off Route 6 where Karoo used to be in Eastham. It is an oasis if you're looking for a great margarita and great food. Try the shrimp tacos or the pork tacos you will not be disappointed ...service was great too...we will be coming back for sure read more

Enjoyable evening! Came for dinner and ended up making happy hour so my husband and I ending up ordering a bunch of small plates. Oysters, shrimp, wings and mini tacos from the happy hour selection were all really good and a bargain. We followed that up with soup, salad and street corn for a wonderful meal. great service and food. had a reservation at 5 and there were only a few tables taken on a tuesday night. we started with some chicken wings, then for dinner I had the shrimp tacos and a side of elite corn. I would've skipped the chicken wings because the tacos and corn were definitely the best. Someone in my party ordered plantains and I would 100% get those next time. Such great food!! read more

My wife and I tried this place in on most recent trip to the cape. We weren't very impressed. I had the seafood bouillabaisse which I was not impressed with. It included cod which was nicely cooked, shrimp which were overdone, tons of calamari which was way overdone, super chewy and rubbery, and mussels which had a funny taste and there were only 3 of them and 1 wouldn't open. The overall dish had a weird flavor too. It wasn't bad per day but it just had. A strange flavor I couldn't put my finger on. I've had other "seafood stews and/or bouillabaisse on the cape and this was by far my least favorite. My wife had the fried avocado tacos which she said were good but there was nothing else on the plate just 2 tacos. It's strange to me they wouldn't come with some side like rice and beans. It's also odd that they are kind of a Mexican vibe but you can't get any chips/salsa or nachos or anything. We did also try the grilled plantains which we both though were pretty good. Overall the meal just fell flat and we had much better experienced on the cape. read more

We tried seven dishes and were happy with each. Given generous portion sizes, this restaurant offers good value. The outdoor seating area was lovely and the service was friendly and responssive. We were very pleasantly surprised at the nice ambiance and the delicious meal at Casa del Cabo. We sat outside on the deck overlooking woods. Down below was a terrace also with dining. Service was very friendly. Our dish was seafood over polenta. Awesome! We will definitely go back and try other things. The taco plates looked really good. The menu was a bit pricey for being a frequent place to eat out, but we will be going again. read more

Had dinner here last night. The food and service was excellent. I love having the variety of eating different foods. I had the grilled octopus, which is one of my favorites, and it was cooked perfectly and delicious. For my meal I had the grilled sword fish with chimmi churri sauce. The swordfish was cooked perfectly, nice and flaky and moist. Had the tre leches cake for dessert, and let's just say not a drop left on the plate. Congrats to this new restaurant, excellent job, we will be back! read more

I have been twice this year, both times during Happy Hour. The oysters are fresh and flavorful, a great bargain. The pork tacos are simple and delicious, really flavorful, and not too spicy. Cocktails were surprisingly well made and really tasty with tequila and exotic juices and herbs. We've eaten the Tuna Sashimi, seared, not completely raw. It was very fresh and the chili-ginger sauce was a perfect match. The octopus was a small portion with mostly thin tentacles that were overcooked. At $18, a disappointment. Shrimp Tacos were two tacos with 3 nicely grilled shrimp in each, and a very tasty mango salsa. Really quite good, but at $24 with an additional $7 for a side of excellent rice and beans, it seemed too little. The Cioppino over Polenta made all my troubles disappear. Fish and shellfish cooked perfectly and set over a creamy polenta topped with a sauce that was vibrant and new in every bite. Spectacular! Definitely give this restaurant a try. I will be back trying different dishes with great expectations. Everyone seems to take their work seriously and strive for customer satisfaction. The Happy Hour makes the slightly expensive dishes a wash. The service is professional and prompt. The restaurant is pleasant with an extensive outdoor dining area with good spacing. This was a great find. We had two dinners here this month: grilled octopus, ceviche, chicken thighs, sword fish, cioppino. Everything was excellent, food and service. I'm fussy about Negronis, but both nights they were well mixed. When it got a bit chilly eating outdoors, they brought blankets out. A treat you shouldn't miss. read more

My son and I had the most delicious food outside in the garden seating area. We were there on the night of the barbecue smoked beef ribs that were perfectly smoked with beautiful bark on the outside. I had the grilled octopus appetizer that was perfectly cooked, my son had the the delicious calamari. The food was so delicious and and it was such a wonderful experience we will be going back there many times. We've had a home in Eastham for 23 years and have alway had to drive to Wellfleet or Orleans in order to get a decent meal. Casa del Cabo is a welcome addition to Eastham and is much better than the average Cape Cod restaurant. The food is great, the setting of their outdoor dining is fabulous, and the people are super-nice and friendly. Don't miss out on this place! You won't regret it. read more

Wow, what a surprise to find that this restaurant that replaced Karoo is a fabulous addition to this area of the Cape. Casa del Cabo was everything that we hoped it would be. After reading a few reviews, I thought it was worth taking a chance but tried not to expect too much. But we were more than pleased with all aspects of our dining experience. The waitress and staff were unusually knowledgeable about the menu, and our selections turned out to be exceptional. The cioppino on polenta was so delicious that we ordered extra ciabatta to sop up all the garlicky sauce, not wanting to leave a drop. The chicken thighs with cilantro and lime were expertly prepared--juicy and richly flavored. And the tres leches cake dessert still lingers as an outstanding finale as I write this review. We will visit this restaurant again before we leave Cape Cod since we feel compelled to try more of their delicacies. A great discovery. read more
