I like this place a lot. It's an easy place to bring the kids and sit and have a quick meal. In the summer, they have an extra 4 tables on the street which can be fun to sit at. My kids love the soda fountain and the iced tea fountain and it's always busy. The service is kinda scattered but it's never really a problem. The slices are good and consistent. Another reviewer loved the arugula pizza, I thought it was too dry. The salads are very fresh and I order them with the house Italian dressing. It's orange-ish in color and fantastic. I always make them bring more so I can dunk the arugula pizza in it, that made it delicious. I ordered a platter of panini's for a tailgate and they were fantastic. Picked 'em up the night before and the guys @ Casa Di Pizza couldn't have been more accommodating. Gave me everything I needed and then some including 2 sides of different dressings to put on the sandwiches and they threw in some pasta salad. Very classy. read more

ok so check this out... I have an old credit card that i have never used. Not one single charge in two years that i have had it. The credit card company told me i had to use it at least once or they would close it. Sure i say no problem. So we decide to order food from here as we were looking for a new pizza place to goto. we place the order and get the food delivered no problem. The charge posts to my account 2 days later and i pay it off right away. Back into the drawer the card goes. 2 weeks later the credit card company calls me and says there was a suspicious charge of 623 dollars online at walmart. Luckily they declined it as they thought it was suspicious. It was not me obviously. Case de Pizza is the only place i have ever used the card since i opened it. Just a warning to others. This is what I consider to be the best Pizza in town, Love the crust, Minestrone Soup is great, It puts the neighboring Large Italian restaurant to shame. HOWEVER, The service leaves a lot to be desired, Every time I have been to Casa Di Pizza there has been a problem with my order being incorrect. Another just today. Wrong amount of that wonderful Minestrone soup delivered, Ordered a Quart and received a Pint, I think perhaps the people taking an order did not know what a quart was. Received the wrong Soda, Ordered Pepsi, received 7UP and the bottle of soda was not just warm, it was HOT, it was not taken out of a refrigerator. You have got great food there but you really need to work on Service, too much chaos behind the counter!!! read more

After having terrible experience over the phone with another pizzeria in town I called and got delivery from Casa on a rainy Sunday night knowing they would be busy. The person on the phone said it would be about 45-50 we said no problem and waited. It ended up taking a little over an hour and the driver was apologetic me understanding it was busy, unfortunately when I got inside I realized the pizza wasn't hot like I thought pizza should be so I called back and the manager was so helpful he ended up sending over another whole pie no charge and we had the pizza in less than 20 minutes which to me is what hospitality is all about trying to make the customer happy and he went above and beyond. I've managed restaurants of all sorts including takeout styles so I know how crazy busy it can be but just wanted to shout him / and the business out for satisfying a local resident and they have won my business when it comes to picking up or getting delivery just by simply making my rainy night better with a fresh pie right out of the oven. I bought two different slices; chicken parm and bruschetta. Chicken parm was too dry, cheese was hard and wasn't soft at all. The crust was also too dry and had no taste. I drove all the way to Westfield for good pizza, I was terribly disappointed. My girlfriend bought their famous godfather pizza and a spinach pizza. She had two bites of each and threw them both away. I don't know how this place has 4 stars. It ruined my day. Also the girl behind the counter is very loud I shouldn't be able to hear your entire conversation while I'm TRYING to enjoy my pizza. If customers speak low enough to speak amongst themselves why should I be able to hear your personal stories. Very unprofessional. Never returning. read more

I had one good and one bad experience here. I got a personal pizza once there and it was good. Yesterday I got a slice and it was still freezing cold when the girl gave it to me. I like my pizza hot.... if you get a slice from there make sure they keep it in the oven long enough. Their ingredients are good and their stuff is fresh, I will give them that. Pizza here is very interesting. Sometimes I feel the pizza is amazing and over the top and other times I feel like it is mediocre. Yum!! Love this place! These guys are the best out of all of the pizza places in Westfield and the surrounding area for sure, with regard to their food as well as their service. I'm here at least once a week and everything is good: paninis, pizzas, salads, and salad pizza (!!) in particular are all delicious. They also make a mean grilled chicken breast (alone or on salad) and that is meaningful, considering the super bland ones I've had at other places in the neighborhood. Pizza was not great, I couldn't finish it. Service not great. While we were there, a girl maybe 10 or so, slipped and fell right on her back. It snowed the weekend before so the sidewalks were wet. She fell right in front of staff. They did nothing. They didn't even go over to see how the girl was or to clean up the water that was on the floor. Bottom line, food was not good. If you need a caterer, you MUST use Casa Di Pizza! I hosted my sisters baby shower and they made it so easy to enjoy the day. Steve was great to work with and made exactly what I envisioned. Everyone was raving about the food, especially their grilled chicken focaccia sandwiches. It was the perfect amount of food and a great mix of everything from the salad to the dessert. Casa di Pizza catered my baby shower and it was awesome! On a hot summer day when people's appetites are usually smaller, it was not the case - the portions were large but there was not many left overs which is always a good sign of a tasty food! The stuffed pasta in penne vodka sauce and Eggplant rollitini was amazing! Everyone was complementing how great the food was and was impressed how helpful Rachel (the catering waitress) was. Ordered Nonna pizza and small Caesar salad. Pizza had good flavor but arrived warm (not hot) so cheese hardened and crust was very chewy. Had to heat it in the oven to melt cheese and that made it better. Had it arrived hot and not so chewy, I would say it would be good. As for the Caesar salad, I should've heeded the warning of the other review because it was awful! Croutons were soft and soggy and while the lettuce was coated in dressing, it was so watered down (the pool that formed at the bottom of the pan evidenced this) that it tasted like nothing! I had to drain it and it was clear they water down their Caesar dressing. The only positive thing I can say about the salad is that the small size gives you a good helping of salad. Don't go by the prices on their website because they must not be updated or they overcharged me. Small salad and Nonna pizza totaled $30 (not including delivery tip). read more

I haven't been disappointed with anything on the menu but I highly recommend the specials. I always go for the special, especially when it is blacken salmon. Best pizza in NJ ....Period!! I tried just about every pizza parlor in Union NJ and this place makes the best pizza hands down. All the other pizza parlors in NJ never really cook the pizza and make it crispy. The way pizza suppose to be made and eaten. I don't know why all these pizza places don't serve pizza hot and crispy? They all are rushing to get your pizza out of the oven and move on to the next customer. This is probably the 2nd or 3rd time I have been to this restaurant. Recently, we got catering from this place at work and I wanted to try it out again. The brushetta pizza was the bomb! Crispy, with a generous heaping of tomatoes and some fresh mozzarella on top. The margarhita slice was also very delicious. Their pizzas are made fresh, with a thin crust and tasty. No its awful I am from NYC and went to school blocks away from John's and Lombardi's so I know pizza. The area does have options such as Buno Pizza in Westfield, Cosimos and Emma's in Cranford. First experience, wife tried it for slices with a friend and we ordered take out. Westfield has limited parking options to I took a space in the loading zone in front, as I was just there to run in and pick up my pie . The owner barked at me telling me it was illegal to park in front of his establishment. As I had a 4 year old with me and was there to pick up his pizza I thought the proprietor was extremely rude especially as I had a child in tow. When we ordered I was told there would be a 30 minute wait and I had to wait an additional ten minutes and yet somehow the pizza was cold and greasy when i got home. As I was leaving I got another lecture on where to park and I saw the owners truck standing in front of the restaurant (with no commercial tags) I thought to myself what an arrogant guy. As far as the food goes, the pizza was salty the sauce was sour and the sausage was stale and tasted like it was on a heating table for days. If these people think this is great pizza, well there is no accounting for taste or Casi Di Pizza's standards may have declined to the lows of the owners personality.
