A super cute little coffee shop that's opened on S Street in downtown. There are a lot of 2 hour free parking spots nearby. This place is so cozy - it really feels like an adorable neighborhood establishment. There are flowers outside to make your own bouquet and a little library so you can borrow books! I love the maximalist décor on the walls and the eclectic mish-mash of seating options. The unique offerings here are the alfajores and the Salvadorian quesadillas. There is also a small menu of drink options. I tried the Cacao Salted Brulee which was excellent. Deep, complex flavors, with that hint of sweetness that I like. This would be a great place to come and study or meet up with a friend or two. The staff was friendly and patient.

The breakfast molcajete and the palomimosa were delicious! Definitely recommend! The place is super cute too.

Came in on a Friday for dinner. It was really busy but I was seated quickly. Beautiful restaurant. I never knew this was in the Deltashores plaza. They have a full bar. Ordered chicken & shrimp fajitas served on a grilled skillet w/ guacamole & sour cream & tortillas on the side. Loved the grilled green & red peppers. It was good. The salsa was a bit too salty for me, and I LOVE salt. Staff were very friendly. Our waiter was very attentive. Also tried the Knee Deep hoptologist. It was good. Plenty of parking. I will be back soon to check out their Happy Hour

The food? So good! I loved the three item plate because t allowed me to try a variety of items. I had a chimichanga with chile verde (guacamole sour cream on the side) it was perfectly fried and not dry inside the meat was good but it could've used some extra chile verde salsa inside. The chicken flautas were as expected and crunchy. The green chicken enchilada was my favorite! That green salsa is so flavorful it's actually the salsa we paid and asked for on the side. Margarita flight was good too. It's very nicely decorated but not over done. Our waiter was nice but we did have a lil bump in the road and he kept disappearing on us and did have us waiting a while. It was a Sunday and wasn't very busy but maybe we just threw him off his tracks. Will definitely go back.

Located in Delta Shores, in the same vicinity as the furniture store. You might miss it if you dont do a Yelp check of restaurants in the area. This is actually a nice mexican restaurant that has a large dining for groups. And also has a nice bar with tvs so you can watch a game. We came in on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy which I prefer. Restaurant is modern and clean. Staff was very friendly and was good at following up on seeing if we needed anything. Food was good. I got the steak fajitas (listen to video for the sizzle) And my husband got the steak burrito. The only suggestion I have is to season the meat a bit more with salt or seasoning. The meat was kinda bland. I'll come back and either bring my extended family or friends. I'd like to try other things on the menu.

This is a pretty decent Mexican restaurant. It wasn't very busy when I had dinner, so I was seated immediately. It's pretty spacious inside. I liked the modern decor. It had a nice ambiance. I can understand why some folks may not like the food here. While the complimentary salsa was plenty spicy, none of the other food was. Some food ate a little blander, but I still found it enjoyable overall. And, the prices were reasonable as well. - pork tamale: this came smothered in sauce and was quite tasty. One end was kinda dry, but otherwise, it was pretty solid. - chile Colorado chimichanga: the fry on this was great lightly crispy on the outside without being greasy. The beef was nice enough; though, I'm used to chile Colorado being a little more saucy. - chile verde chimichanga: this was pretty good; though, it would've been nice if there was some spice and a bit more salt. - chicken enchilada: good stuff. The chicken is a marinated shredded chicken. Nice flavor. - asada quesadilla: the cheese was nice and stretchy, but there was an unpleasant amount of grease dripping out of this. The asada was dry and had too much salt. I thought everything was worth ordering again except the quesadilla. Perhaps, I'd try the quesadilla with a different meat, or maybe I just happened to have old asada. Unlike some other places, I didn't leave feeling yucky. Probably because they don't overdo it on the cheese. The guac here is kinda whack. It's like eating green sour cream. I'll probably return because it's nearby, the food is tasty enough, and the prices are reasonable.

This place has apparently been around for almost a year, but due to the location being in the "back alley" of Delta Shores, we only noticed it a few days ago. I'm glad I did, as Casa Flores is a fantastic little Mexican bar and restaurant with great entrees, drinks, and desserts. One of the highlights of Casa Flores for my party and I was clear: the proteins. All the beef and shrimp was cooked well and seasoned well, with savory rice and balanced refried beans. The chile colorado was a stand out with its delicious gravy. They brought a healthy amount of tortillas (corn or flour) for us to use with our various meals, and the chips and salsa were fresh and surprisingly spicy! My wife loved her asada burrito bowl, which was a stark contrast (in the best way) to the Chipotle down the road. The signature cocktail menu was fairly limited to your standard Mexican fare, but that didn't stop the tropical marg from tasting like a tropical jolly ranger (and i mean that as a compliment). A friend ordered a mojito, which wasn't on the menu, so it's nice to know their bar is fully stocked for other drinks. The two desserts we tried, the flan and the churro donut, were both very good and not too terribly sweet. Our server Lex mentioned that while the donut included optional sauce, it wasn't needed. She was right! The flan is some of the best I've had compared to what I eat at family events, and I don't say that lightly (my aunt would have words with me if I did). Oh and Lex was super friendly and helpful. We will absolutely be back.

We live in Stockton and absolutely love Costa Flores, we go all the time... We happen to be in Sacramento for a shopping trip and saw that they had a cost of Laura as close by. This is a very cozy location and the staff are super attentive and very kind. The food was excellent, the salsa and chips alone were worth the visit. We also got their house made guacamole, which was extremely yummy. My daughter got a kids combo plate, which was very filling and had more than enough for her to eat. Both my husband and I got the two item combos and were so full. We could hardly finish. We were very pleased with our visit and the wonderful environment. It was extremely enjoyable, and we would definitely go back... Much love!

This was my third experience going there. The first time I had an excellent experience. But unfortunately, the beans and rice were terrible! I really enjoyed my birria tacos. The second experience I went in there for single taco cost $6.50... It was delicious. I went in today with my mother and got two tacos, and my taco was so skimpy. Plus they leave bay leaves in their meat and I told the server about it. I had to walk up and ask someone for my bill because I was ready to leave, and I was tired of waiting for someone to come back to our table! The space is absolutely beautiful. It's a beautiful restaurant, and the first time I came in it smelled like cleaning products! The drinks are absolutely amazing. I'll give them that! But the inconsistency of the tacos made me mad today!

Came her for my cousin her bday. And it was okay. They had came a couple of times and they said it was pretty good. I had the pork tamale and chili Rellano (sp). And I have to say I was not impressed. The tamale was dry, the chili rellano was soggy. The service was okay. It was nice and clean. Not sure if I would come back.

A couple of friends and I stopped by Casa Flores yesterday after a 6-mile hike--we were starving and hoping for some good Mexican food. We arrived in the late afternoon/early evening and ended up being there during happy hour, which was a nice surprise. The restaurant wasn't busy, so we were seated right away. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we appreciated being able to separate our checks. Their happy hour deals were pretty solid--about 50% off dips, special prices for margaritas, and even some soup flights. Lots of menu options, too. My friends enjoyed their meals. One ordered two birria tacos and a small chimichanga that she turned into her own 3-item combination, plus a cocktail. Another went with a steak burrito bowl. I ordered a two-item combo with a crunchy chicken taco and a pork tamale with green sauce. While the presentation was great and the timing was impressive--everything came out within five minutes--my plate fell short. The refried beans were extremely bland and watery, and I had to add salt and salsa just to get some flavor. The "crunchy" taco lacked crunch and hardly had any chicken with iceberg lettuce. I ended up adding tomato and salsa, and borrowing sour cream from my friend's plate because our server explained that the listed sour cream and guacamole only come with certain items, which wasn't clear on the menu. The tamale was decent in size, and the green sauce was actually very tasty, definitely the highlight of my plate. The rice also had good flavor. The chips and salsa are unlimited, and while the salsa (pico-style) was flavorful, the chips tasted more store-bought than house-made. Overall, I'd call my experience mediocre. My friends were happy with their dishes, so maybe I just didn't choose the right combo. I'd be willing to give Casa Flores another shot if I'm in the area again--especially after another long hike--but based on my plate alone, it didn't quite hit the mark this time.

We got the "special" buy one pound get the next pound free so we did shrimp. We got shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes, and dungeness crab with the special blend in one bag. The hook and reel special blend was honestly pretty gross it was sweet, Smokey and not very buttery or salty at all. We asked for lemon pepper and extra butter to put inside(which was an extra charge) it made it a little better but I've definitely had better elsewhere. The garlic noodles were really good they had a soy sauce flavor, garlicky and cheesy. The price was pretty expensive considering I've spent $30 less elsewhere. Here at hook & reel I spent $96 The service was good. She was very kind and helpful but also wasn't very attentive. The restaurant and the bathrooms were very clean. Overall I wouldn't come back and I recommend going to Captain crab in Elk Grove it is so much better tasting and cheaper!!

Service was low, when greeted we were greeted promptly but there were no smiles from anyone. I hope they all do enjoy working there! We started with one server and then it jumped to another server which I did see someone else experienced also, so maybe this is the norm for the location? This was many of our groups first time here and Alex started of same way with a slight smile, but he took the time to understand our confusion and began to lighten up once he understood our order and we understood the restaurant and he was a great waiter for the evening since. Thank you for putting up with our confusion! Food- chicken wings I would come back for they are definitely my top 3 I've had from a restaurant. Myself personally I am actually not a big fan with seafood boils because I do not care for all that seasoning, so coming I was quite worried I wouldn't eat anything. Well I caved in to try it with the crawdads, and to my surprise, it is definitely lightly seasoned so I did end up liking it. So, if you do truly like a seafood boil with seasonings and kick, I wouldn't recommend this place as a go to for others, but for myself if I have a craving I will grab my crawdads here. Overall the place is crowded and busy, it's in a busy shopping center. There are a lot of people working here at one time, it just feels that no one is thrilled to work there. We went towards their late shift to closing and to be quite honest I got understand that why they may have that feeling. The manager pulled out flashlights while we were eating to inspect the window cleanliness? Great job with the cleaning, but also not the right time. Also, micro managing the team's cleaning while standing at the counter and pointing at places they are missing (we should not see the from our seats). She definitely needs to work on Leadership, not manager, skillsets, and have her participate and guide team members rather then making it look as if she is looking down on her team. This can change the atmosphere for team engagement, so the greetings are more welcoming and engaging to customers.

First impression - yes, as others have mentioned, the parking is not close or easy to find. You have to drive all the way around the hotel, then locate a valet to open a gate so that you can park. Our table had the ahi nachos which they all reported as very good (I don't eat raw seafood, so I did not try it). We also ordered the crab cakes which were very small, and the sauce on top was VERY spicy. I love crab cakes but these were definitely not the best we've ever had. One of our guests said he enjoyed his steak and scallops entree. Another guest had the fish and chips which he said was good. Next guest ordered an all steak meal which she said she enjoyed. I ordered the skinny margarita, which was not good and I did not continue to drink after the first few sips. I was really excited to order the lobster, as I hadn't had lobster in quite some time. It looked amazing when it arrived, but it was, sadly, overcooked, very difficult to cut and I gave up after a bite. The mashed potatoes and vegetables that accompanied it were good. For $73.00, however, I was greatly disappointed. Our server was hit or miss, and she did not check back on us to ask about our meals which was sadly unexpected. The location is very nice. We took a little stroll after dinner outside by the river. I perused some of the reviews and was astounded at one in particular. This patron gave her entire experience a ONE star because she chose to eat OUTSIDE, at a restaurant on A RIVER, and even though her party found the food and service to be divine, she insulted the restaurant with a one star review because she claimed her party was swarmed throughout their meal by mosquitoes. Mosquitoes that were OUTSIDE! Imagine! (Insert eye roll here!). Unbelievable! And soooo ridiculous! Why not ask to be moved inside when this "overwhelming swarm" first overcame your table and viciously attacked you? And yet this reviewer stayed outside and kept enduring the "mosquito monsoon". Good grief. How in the heck is the restaurant, which AGAIN, is located ON A RIVER, supposed to control those mosquitoes (which plague us ALL when we are outside in warmer weather)? And why claim to have suffered through your meal by these swarms of mosquitoes and not even think to ask to be moved inside? Anyway, it was sad to read such a ridiculous review. About mosquitoes being outside. On a river. Which Scott's surely cannot be held responsible for! Outrageous!

Small portions but the cakes were flaky and the crispy fried scallions were so good I added to everything. Server was King, he was excellent, taking care of all our needs and so polite. A bit chewy and flat. 4.5/5 garlic mashed potatoes with the entree didn't taste very garlicky so we asked the server to double check it was garlic. He came out with a giant replacement serving for us which was awesome and perfect. He indicated the chef added extra garlic which was exactly what we needed. We got a free dessert for our bday girl. She got the mixed berry cobbler complete with a candle and I got a crème brulee. 4/5 crème brulee, one of the better desserts I've had there. We also got a free champagne bottle for her bday l which was a nice touch. Inside was dim and dark but always feels very private. The entrees were less tasty than in prior visits which was a bit disappointing but prior visits were much better than expected so the bar may have been set too high. Hoping the food will be back on point next time, but overall still a solid visit.

Although there was a bit of a wait for the food because they were short staffed, we had the happy hour menu to choose deals from and entertainment from the large group's karaoke to keep us busy in the meantime. When the food came out, I was surprised to find such tasty, and, large crawfish and shrimp on our table! The food was piping hot and the portions nice and big. I especially loved that the seafood came out in metal bowls instead of the plastic bags every other boil place serves their boils in. Extra points to them for being environmentally friendly! After a few bottles of soju, our group decided to partake in the free karaoke too, and we had a great time belting our hearts out. All in all, we loved the fair prices, delicious food, kid and family environment, and will definitely be back the next time we're in town. Thanks for the awesome night, Crab City!

The service, food and decor was absolutely wonderful. I loved the Langostinos Sarandeados! Very flavorful and hit the spot! I can't wait to go back and get some more! There is street parking available and we were able to find a spot across from the restaurant. Bathroom was clean and well maintained.

Diners tip: They offer happy hour up until 6 PM during the week. I met a friend for a light bite, and I was pleasantly surprised by most of the experience. Service is incredibly slow and it appears that they literally only have two people working in the entire restaurant doing everything. The vibe is super comfy with comfortable seating and there is music playing. It does become increasingly more difficult to enjoy table conversation because the music was louder than it probably needed to be. We were there right before happy hour ended, so we ended up ordering the shrimp cocktail and shrimp tacos. The shrimp cocktail was really disappointing. It was way too watery, and lacked flavor. Even the shrimps tasted like they had been frozen, defrosted, and then thrown into this tomato water. It tasted like they threw in a little Tabasco for the spice and that was about that. The, mini pieces of toast were also underwhelming, and had this been a better dish. I would've preferred it served with tortilla chips, I absolutely would not order this again. The shrimp tacos were really tasty. The flavor of the shrimp, and the freshness of the salsa and avocado made for a good bite. The tortilla itself was cold and I don't know why they did not heat it, or pan seared or something. We originally had asked the server to split the check and rather than ask us how we wanted it split, he put one appetizer on one check and one on the other. The problem is is that one was twice as much as the other, and the intention was for us just to give him our credit cards and have him split the total between the two of us and he couldn't seem to figure that out. In spite of the shrimp cocktail experience, I definitely would come back here just to try some of the entrées. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and I think it would be a fun date spot, and definitely. It's a fun place to hang out with friends. Just keep in mind Service is super slow so if you're in a hurry to go to the theater or you have other plans, this may not be the most ideal dining situation under those circumstances

We decided to…read moreeat here because we saw on the reviews that they had ox tail soup and bun rieu ( crab noodle soup). It appears the restaurant mainly serves seafood. As there are a lot of seafood options. However there is hotpot options and other noodle and rice dishes as well. The restaurant has a small outdoor patio. Inside has spacious table seating, some with booth and good lighting inside. There was ballad vietnamese music video playing. The restaurant was not busy and there were elderly men at the tables playing cards and some at another table they were chatting & drinking. Im not sure if they hold karaoke or have live bands but there is a stage with music instruments and a projector with installed party lights. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted right away. It was a bummer when they told us they didn't make ox tail or bum rieu today. Instead we ordered beef tartare, beef pho and shaken beef with rice. The beef tartare was this sliced raw beef with onion, herbs and lime which made the dish rich and savory. The pho was mediocre and same goes for the shaken beef, but both dishes were still tasty enough. During our time there, the server did not check on us or refill our water. If I'm craving for seafood, maybe I'll come back to try their seafood options.

The place was empty and i was told they are short staffed and only served dine in for dinner and on weekends. I would have to order to go only for lunch. The restaurant looked bigger in the pictures but it was much smaller than i envisioned. Probably won't go back. I was really disappointed to drive 35 minutes for nothing. The person i talked to was nice though in his explanations. But i wanted to eat. If you're looking to go there, call first and make sure they are open and that you can dine it.
