Dining area

Located in Delta Shores, in the same vicinity as the furniture store. You might miss it if you dont do a Yelp check of restaurants in the area. This is actually a nice mexican restaurant that has a large dining for groups. And also has a nice bar with tvs so you can watch a game. We came in on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy which I prefer. Restaurant is modern and clean. Staff was very friendly and was good at following up on seeing if we needed anything. Food was good. I got the steak fajitas (listen to video for the sizzle) And my husband got the steak burrito. The only suggestion I have is to season the meat a bit more with salt or seasoning. The meat was kinda bland. I'll come back and either bring my extended family or friends. I'd like to try other things on the menu.

The food? So good! I loved the three item plate because t allowed me to try a variety of items. I had a chimichanga with chile verde (guacamole sour cream on the side) it was perfectly fried and not dry inside the meat was good but it could've used some extra chile verde salsa inside. The chicken flautas were as expected and crunchy. The green chicken enchilada was my favorite! That green salsa is so flavorful it's actually the salsa we paid and asked for on the side. Margarita flight was good too. It's very nicely decorated but not over done. Our waiter was nice but we did have a lil bump in the road and he kept disappearing on us and did have us waiting a while. It was a Sunday and wasn't very busy but maybe we just threw him off his tracks. Will definitely go back.

Came in on a Friday for dinner. It was really busy but I was seated quickly. Beautiful restaurant. I never knew this was in the Deltashores plaza. They have a full bar. Ordered chicken & shrimp fajitas served on a grilled skillet w/ guacamole & sour cream & tortillas on the side. Loved the grilled green & red peppers. It was good. The salsa was a bit too salty for me, and I LOVE salt. Staff were very friendly. Our waiter was very attentive. Also tried the Knee Deep hoptologist. It was good. Plenty of parking. I will be back soon to check out their Happy Hour

Carne asada quesadilla

An older review that I am late to posting. Came for my cousin's 16th birthday dinner on April 18th. It was a lot of us (easily over 20 people), but we were able to be accommodated to my surprise! Service was great! Albeit a bit slow - I can imagine how overwhelming it must be for the front and back of house staff to service us on top of the customers already dining - but the staff were very patient and friendly! The food eventually came out, and it was delicious! I ordered the carne asada quesadilla which came with rice, beans, and a small salad. Very flavorful meat; a tad bit juicy, but delicious nonetheless. Would recommend dining here if you're in the area! Aside from the AI generated mural, the restaurant was very clean and attractive!

This was my third experience going there. The first time I had an excellent experience. But unfortunately, the beans and rice were terrible! I really enjoyed my birria tacos. The second experience I went in there for single taco cost $6.50... It was delicious. I went in today with my mother and got two tacos, and my taco was so skimpy. Plus they leave bay leaves in their meat and I told the server about it. I had to walk up and ask someone for my bill because I was ready to leave, and I was tired of waiting for someone to come back to our table! The space is absolutely beautiful. It's a beautiful restaurant, and the first time I came in it smelled like cleaning products! The drinks are absolutely amazing. I'll give them that! But the inconsistency of the tacos made me mad today!

This is a pretty decent Mexican restaurant. It wasn't very busy when I had dinner, so I was seated immediately. It's pretty spacious inside. I liked the modern decor. It had a nice ambiance. I can understand why some folks may not like the food here. While the complimentary salsa was plenty spicy, none of the other food was. Some food ate a little blander, but I still found it enjoyable overall. And, the prices were reasonable as well. - pork tamale: this came smothered in sauce and was quite tasty. One end was kinda dry, but otherwise, it was pretty solid. - chile Colorado chimichanga: the fry on this was great lightly crispy on the outside without being greasy. The beef was nice enough; though, I'm used to chile Colorado being a little more saucy. - chile verde chimichanga: this was pretty good; though, it would've been nice if there was some spice and a bit more salt. - chicken enchilada: good stuff. The chicken is a marinated shredded chicken. Nice flavor. - asada quesadilla: the cheese was nice and stretchy, but there was an unpleasant amount of grease dripping out of this. The asada was dry and had too much salt. I thought everything was worth ordering again except the quesadilla. Perhaps, I'd try the quesadilla with a different meat, or maybe I just happened to have old asada. Unlike some other places, I didn't leave feeling yucky. Probably because they don't overdo it on the cheese. The guac here is kinda whack. It's like eating green sour cream. I'll probably return because it's nearby, the food is tasty enough, and the prices are reasonable.

Green Enchilada with hair on beans
Jackyy A.

First time visiting Casa Flores and I had the worst experience. I ordered the green enchilada plate and the beans had a hair, I approach the server as soon as I noticed the situation she took it back and came back no more than 5 minutes with a new plate which let me know they did not remake the plate. They just placed more cheese on the beans. Then she proceeded to say they remade the plate but the food was cold. then said they were unable to take the plate off my tab, had to ask for a manager for her to remove it. Won't be coming back.

Breakfast hot plate

Food was good. Not authentic in my opinion but was flavorful. Pricey but portions were big too.

We live in Stockton and absolutely love Costa Flores, we go all the time... We happen to be in Sacramento for a shopping trip and saw that they had a cost of Laura as close by. This is a very cozy location and the staff are super attentive and very kind. The food was excellent, the salsa and chips alone were worth the visit. We also got their house made guacamole, which was extremely yummy. My daughter got a kids combo plate, which was very filling and had more than enough for her to eat. Both my husband and I got the two item combos and were so full. We could hardly finish. We were very pleased with our visit and the wonderful environment. It was extremely enjoyable, and we would definitely go back... Much love!

This place has apparently been around for almost a year, but due to the location being in the "back alley" of Delta Shores, we only noticed it a few days ago. I'm glad I did, as Casa Flores is a fantastic little Mexican bar and restaurant with great entrees, drinks, and desserts. One of the highlights of Casa Flores for my party and I was clear: the proteins. All the beef and shrimp was cooked well and seasoned well, with savory rice and balanced refried beans. The chile colorado was a stand out with its delicious gravy. They brought a healthy amount of tortillas (corn or flour) for us to use with our various meals, and the chips and salsa were fresh and surprisingly spicy! My wife loved her asada burrito bowl, which was a stark contrast (in the best way) to the Chipotle down the road. The signature cocktail menu was fairly limited to your standard Mexican fare, but that didn't stop the tropical marg from tasting like a tropical jolly ranger (and i mean that as a compliment). A friend ordered a mojito, which wasn't on the menu, so it's nice to know their bar is fully stocked for other drinks. The two desserts we tried, the flan and the churro donut, were both very good and not too terribly sweet. Our server Lex mentioned that while the donut included optional sauce, it wasn't needed. She was right! The flan is some of the best I've had compared to what I eat at family events, and I don't say that lightly (my aunt would have words with me if I did). Oh and Lex was super friendly and helpful. We will absolutely be back.

This place is beautiful and tucked away by RC Willy's in Delta Shores. The food is delicious and the staff make you feel right at home!

First visit for sit down dinner instead of usual happy hour. They have a good selection of beers and cocktails. TVs are showing different sports which creates a very inclusive ambiance. Service is fantastic and the food is good. Not overly seasoned.

Okay, if we desperately need a Mexican place in this plaza, I guess this can be it. And if I hear "the chairs are sooo comfortable" one more time, in lieu of anything about the food, I may combust. The chairs are comfortable, we get it. The staff are friendly and accommodating of pickier eaters. I found the decor to be clean, manicured, and modern. Beautiful art on the walls as well. Offerings: - Carne Asada: Anything with carne asada will be good. The meat will shine through. - Shrimp Tostada: I was severely disappointed in this dish. It was like someone took a cheap bottle of cocktail sauce, drenched some good quality shrimp in it and served it on a tostada. It was cheap on the happy hour menu, but I would definitely skip. - Salsa: The salsa and chips are good. Nothing spectacular but addicting as always. - Green enchilada: Also good but not memorable. Overall, this place doesn't give me any food experiences that I can get at any basic Mexican restaurant. Go for the vibes, the clean, crisp restaurant, and (again) the comfortable chairs.

We were seated outside which was lovely, especially given the weather and the slight breeze. I appreciate that they offer an option for reservations. Many brunch places do not do those nowadays, which I hate. Every brunch requires a coffee. I appreciate that they do lattes here, rather than just hot or iced coffees. They had some unique syrups, such as bourbon caramel and praline. The syrups were on the more subtle side, which some people prefer. I am not one of those people, but it was a good latte for a breakfast/ brunch spot. I wish there was more ice tho.  The skillet cornbread with sharp cheddar, creamed corn & garlic, honey butter & house made seasonal jam on the side was a great starter dish. I enjoyed the garlic and cheese. The temperature/ toastiness of this was yummy.  We couldn't decide between the cornbread and the sticky bun, so the only obvious solution was to order both. The topping of the sticky bun was delicious. It was almost pecan pie adjacent.

Unlike other coffee shops, chain or otherwise, this had an actual good balance of burning hot, yet creamy and chocolatey. If your inner child kicks in, definitely try their hot cocoa. The danish was good....light and airy pastry, and the fruit in the middle was tart. They also have specials which are actual full meals, but unable to comment on those. For a hot drink and pastry, though... definitely recommend

I ordered a Guinness and we moved to the back area as our group grew too large to have at the small front tables. We asked our server what she recommended and she said the waffle fries and French toast are great. While we passed on the French Toast (this time- I'm more of a savory breakfast person) we did get waffle fries ($7) and their Zebra Special ($15.50) that comes with two eggs, meat (ham, bacon or sausage), hash browns, and choice of toast. We paid a little extra to get a biscuit with gravy instead of toast. We also ordered jello shots for the group and it was very fun having morning jello shots with breakfast. They have a lot of televisions here and seem to serve as a watch party destination for a lot of sports fans.
