My boyfriend and I were looking for a good seafood boil spot and decided to give this place a try based on its high ratings. Unfortunately, we left disappointed and honestly don't understand why it's rated so highly. To start, I ordered the spiked mangonada with soju. The menu photo advertises it in a tall glass, but when it arrived, it was served in a much smaller glass than expected. Even more disappointing was the taste--it was extremely watered down. I could barely taste any mango flavor or alcohol. It was so underwhelming that I ended up asking for a different drink. The food itself was also a letdown. It got cold very quickly, and there was barely any seasoning. I specifically ordered the medium heat with collision seasoning, but I could hardly taste any flavor at all. For a seafood boil, I expected a much bolder and more flavorful seasoning blend. My boyfriend also ordered a Blue Moon and said it was the worst one he has ever had. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype. Between the disappointing drinks, lackluster seasoning, and food that cooled off almost immediately, we left wondering how this restaurant earned such high ratings. Sadly, we wouldn't return. We're only sticking with Bay Area seafood boils for now on. read more

I've been here a few times but realized I never posted a review. It's been awhile since I've been here & forgot their HH. I arrived after 6p so missed the HH. It was busy but we were seated quickly. Ordered the shrimp & garlic noodles & the shrimp combo with original sauce under the Captain's Choice. The garlic noodles were good but the shrimp was a bit salty. I just soaked the shrimp into the shrimp combo sauce & squeezed a bunch lemon juice & tasted so much better. The shrimp combo comes with 1 pound of shrimp, 1 corn, potato, & 1 sausage. Sauce was good. Shrimp was tasty. Staff were friendly. Love the music they played. Their HH is all day Mondays & Tues-Fri 3-6pm. They also have a AYCE for $50 on Tue-Thur It Excludes Lobster, Snow Crab, Oysters and Dungeness Crab. It Includes a Fountain Drink. Children 2 to 10 years old $25.25 I'll be back for their HH & want to try the AYCE. The obsession I've developed with this place is honestly off the charts. Hands down, they have the best seafood boil sauce I've tasted in Northern California. I seriously wish I knew what they put in it because it keeps me coming back for more every single time. I've visited on three separate occasions with different groups of people, and every person has agreed that this place is something special. We're always seated quickly, and the service is just as fast and efficient. At this point, I have no problem making the 45-minute drive and passing countless other seafood spots along the way just to eat here. When a restaurant is this consistently good, it's worth going out of your way for. This has easily become one of my favorite places for a seafood boil, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. read more

This was our 2nd time eating here, and unfortunately, the last! I was so disappointed with my "shrimp combo." ($20) It comes with 1 lb of head-on shrimp (you can get head-off and peeled for extra $), 1 piece of sausage, 1 corn, and 1 potato, with choice of sauce and spice level. I ordered the original roasted garlic with zero spice. When it was served, I swear there was zero sauce in the bag! I usually order a side of rice ($4) to soak up all that yummy sauce, and kid you not, that rice stayed white! I dumped the entire contents of the seafood and the bowl of rice together and mixed it all up. That was the driest seafood boil I have ever had at Firehouse or at any seafood boil restaurant for that matter. Without having to order "extra sauce" for an extra charge, the food in the bag was always served with a good amount of sauce. So that's what they're doing now? Making it so you HAVE to pay for the sauce? Maybe the corn soaked up all the sauce before it reached the table, because that was the only thing that had flavor! I like to order the shrimp with the head-on so that I can suck out the sauce, but those shrimps were bone dry. Too bad, because they were a nice size. The lemon pepper wings ($11) were fried to perfection and seasoned well. The fish and fries my husband had was just ok. He did think that the fish was overdone (fried too hard). All of the servers were very polite and were accommodating with all of our requests. I probably should have asked them where the sauce was, but we just ate our food, and quietly decided we were not coming back. Came as a large group for their AYCE deal. The seafood was great, the appetizer also very good but the only thing was the wait time. From the time between our first order of seafood to our second round was around 50 minutes. I understand we had a fairly larger group but by the time we ordered our third round, they said it would be our last as we have already exceeded the time limit. Very thankful our server allowed us one more round although it felt like we were spending more of our time waiting for our food than actually eating. They did say they were behind on orders but I feel they should take that into consideration with the 90 minute limit. Again, still very appreciative of them for being able to accommodate our large group, the food was great nonetheless! Would recommend. read more

My family and I enjoy coming here because it's close to us, but if I'm being honest, I still prefer the original location off 65th Street. We usually order the same familiar favorites, and they're consistently good. Raw Oysters - 4/5 I like the vinaigrette sauce. Cajun Garlic Fries - 4/5 Cajun Fries - 5/5 The kids love this. Seafood Boil - 5/5 We order the Dungeness crab, snow crab, shrimp, and clams, collision flavor at medium heat. I can't get enough of the sauce - it's good. Extra sauce is available for an additional charge. Garlic Noodles - 4/5 I like adding the seafood boil sauce to take it up a notch. Mango Margarita - 4/5 I've had this a few times already and it's good. Sometimes it can be a bit too sweet though. Came here with my family. The servers were super sweet and kind. It took some time to find a seat due to short staffing, but we eventually got a table. Getting menus, high chairs, and waters took a hit, but we were able to order all our food before we got hangry. Our server made many solid recommendations, which we took. The food was flavored to perfection. The shrimp did feel overcooked, but the spices made up for it. Came here for Happy Hour. Unfortunately, it only pertains to the fried appetizers. The cocktails/beer are discounted by a few dollars. We ordered their cajun fries, 3 orders of calamari, fried chicken, and the butterfly shrimp. All were really good. We tried their Captain's Choice shrimp & noodles and 2 pounds of head-on shrimp. Also really tasty. Angeline definitely took care of us. We ordered a lot (including drinks) and she was on top of it! She also gave us great recommendations. My husband warned me that if we came to this 2nd location that we would be disappointed because new locations are usually never better than the original location. I don't like it when my husband is right, but he was correct. Service We walked in to the Delta location on a Tuesday during happy hour (4pm) only three other tables occupied but service was super slow. There were 2 females chit chatting one person on a break and another person going back and forth between the front and the back. Server never told us about the happy hour items or the all you could eat option. We saw this after we ordered our food. Poor service etiquette. Food Food arrives and the bag of goods...was NOT hot all the way through. Potatoes cold/luke warm on the inside... and soggy like it was over cooked, corn was old. Took one bit and tossed it. Crawfish also not hot enough; center was just lukewarm. Bill We asked for a to go container. We waited 13min and no container came. The gal went on her break and forgot to bring container & bill. See the bill & the wings were supposed to be $8 for the happy hour, they charged Regular price. There was never more than 4 tables occupied when we were there, so there was no excuse for the slow and inadequate service or for the not warm enough food. The food not being hot enough is enough to get them in trouble. We were at their original location on Mothers Day for dinner. It was a full and packed house yet the service was still awesome, prompt and welcoming. Food was PIPING HOT... The only reason we came to the Delta location is because it's closer to our home and we had limited time. I regret coming. Food was so good on Mother's Day that I was craving it two days later...so we came to the Delta. Never again. Ambiance was fine but overshadowed by poor service and not hot enough food. ***Husband never send food back at any establishment for fear of what might be done to it. I'm writing the review after just leaving and I am stuffed and leaving with a happy full belly. We ordered the garlic noodles (yummm), a margarita and a mango tango drink (double yumm). Me and my hubby ordered the shrimp boils and this food and this sauce is everything. I came here on my birthday (my request) and I'm so happy I did. I don't regret my decision one bit. The inside is very clean, very welcoming, would be perfect for a game night or to catch a basketball game while enjoying great food and drinks. Our waitress Leah was as sweet as can be. Very helpful, very attentive and super friendly. She greeted with a smile and seated us immediately. Our food and drinks came out so fast and was hot and ready for us to dig in. Boy oh boy where do I start. The food, the customer service, the ENERGY! I can't get enough of this place. It's my second home. My go to is the build your own seafood boil with shrimp, but you definitely need it with HEAD. The food is top notch. My mouth already starts watering before entering the vicinity. As far as the customer service, I love the workers here at this establishment. Honestly I love them to death, honestly they're good kids honestly. She was very attentive and had great timing when it came to putting in our next order and refilling our drinks.
