Wow! We enjoyed a delicious all you can eat brunch for my Hubby's birthday. Service and food is great. I chose this place since my Husband loves Mexican food. Whaat better than to have an all you can eat. To our surprise it was delicious and such an enjoyable experience. Made to order: chilaquiles, eggs, pancakes, omelettes and freshly heated tortillas of your choice. The bottomless mimosas were quickly refilled and service was excellent. We enjoyed every dish we selected. The selections were great. From soups, ceviches, birria and so much more. I almost don't want to post this review to keep this place a secret, but need to share. So, I went to Roberta's Saturday buffet. The food was *amazing* - seriously, so fresh and delicious! I wasn't expecting that. However, the bill was a bit of a shock. It came to $76.17 for two of us, but I later saw online that the buffet is only $28.88 per person. That's quite a difference! To be fair, I left a cash tip because most of the staff were super friendly and helpful - one lady went above and beyond! But there was one guy who completely ignored me twice when I asked for tortillas. It was a bit frustrating, especially after such a great meal. That one experience really soured the whole thing, unfortunately. Because of that, and the price discrepancy, I'm not sure I'll be going back or recommending it. I feel that a more appropriate price range would be in the mid twenties range...maybe they are constrained by the location rent ? The dessert offering was just flan....just that one item. Too many options (I'm not complaining), I had a hard time to choose. We settled for enchiladas and the secret family recipe birria. The food was excellent! The portions were huge. If you are not a big eater, one dish can easily be split into two meal. The price was reasonable. This is definitely now my go-to for Mexican food!!! My husband and I have historically enjoyed Roberta's, but our last two visits have been disappointing. On both occasions, the service was subpar. Our waiter was discourteous, avoided eye contact, and dismissed our concerns regarding the stale salsa. He also took my order incorrectly and it was til the end of our meal when another guy came to ask if we were needing anything else. Furthermore, the food quality has declined. For only $30 you get bottomless mimosas, fresh tortillas, an omelette/chilequilles station, and the best buffet I have ever had. We got there around 10 am and everything tasted so fresh! They had lots to offer including soups (abondigas, menudo, and pesole), birria tacos, ceviche, enchiladas, tacos de papas, nopales y eggs and so much more. They also have American breakfast items like pancakes, sausage and bacon. The employees were so friendly, informative and prompt! The restaurant is very clean. You walk in and the buffet area is in another room, separate to the restaurant. I kind of didn't want to make this review, because I wanted to gatekeep so it didn't get too busy when I come in next, but honestly everyone should give this place a try! I loved the variety. I felt it had most of the popular dishes available. The menudo was good, the side dishes were good also and my husband did the fresh omelette made right in front of you. I saw a few TikTok's about their brunch buffet and I was blown away by the food!!!! The birria had so much flavor, the rice and beans were delicious. I love their hand made tortillas. The best thing was their chilaquiles, I didn't get his name but one of the servers/cooks came over and offered them to us. They don't use chips like a lot of restaurants, they use real freshly fried tortillas. They are so fluffy and delicious. Maria was extremely friendly and kept coming to check on us. I being trying their menu and so far is been great. The food in some cases look simple, but the food is delicious and very tasty. The Birria de Chivo is delicious, very tasty by itself, no salsa is needed, unless you want spicy. The green and red sauce are a great addition to any plate. Then I found, Roberta's. When I ordered from them for the first time, I decided to stick with something basic. I ordered their two chicken taco combination plate, which came with rice and beans. I have not had tacos like this since I was a kiddo at my nana's house. The chicken is tender and flavorful, and the cheese, lettuce, and tomato are always piled on high. Not to mention that the taco shells themselves are always so perfect and crispy! Their rice and beans are absolutely delicious as well. After ordering from them a few times, I finally decided to have my daughter try it with me one night for dinner. She's 11 and can be on the picky side at times, so my hopes weren't too high. She decided to try their Super Burrito with asada and could not stop raving about how it was one of the best burritos she had ever tasted! Though we usually order for delivery, we have ordered for pick-up a couple of times and I will say that the food is always ready on time, and the customer service is always warm and wonderful.
