I really enjoyed this place! Went for lunch and got the Taco plate at the bar. #delish The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Went back same day for dinner and had a great experience. Daughter wanted tacos, so I ordered the same plate for her. NOTE: Lunch taco order comes with 2-tacos. Dinner order comes with 3-tacos. My favorite part about dinner was the Live Mariachi band! Took dinner up a notch - for sure. Can't wait to return.

Reliable Tex Mex spot. I'll admit it. My family comes to Casa Garcia's a little too much but it is so convenient and the food is solid. They do have live mariachi some nights which can be a little loud for kids but I appreciate them trying to create an entertaining atmosphere. If you're looking for breakfast or brunch, please check them out. The Migas a la Mexicana are delicious!

I don't know who specifically makes the Caldo de Res, but they need to take their time-or get a refresher training. I ordered two large Caldo's just incase they are not really large, I am glad I did, because the first container had more fat and less carne (meat).. as you see how much fat I pulled from the soup. Also as the meat is getting cooked in the water, the chef missed spooning out the excess fat that gets cooked out, thus transferring it back to the soup, which it did, The meat was tough, which indicates it was overcooked. Sorry I chose this dish. I hope these points are looked into and corrected.

Food is amazing! Eaten here several times and I've NEVER been disappointed! Service can be lacking sometimes depending on the waiter, but the food is fast arriving so you don't have time to be unhappy about it! Restaurant is large, quiet and clean!

Their riserva margarita was REALLY good, better than Torchy's! The Charro beans were a little bland but with some salt and pepper they perked up. The enchiladas were delicious and my wife had the Botaniita appetizer and liked it. Service was pretty good and the patio is really nice and they play good music. Dog friendly! Kid friendly as well

We really like Casa Garcias. The location is super easy to get to. The staff way pleasant and helpful. The restaurant itself is clean and pleasant. We like the food and go monthly. They have a plethora of options. It's more TexMex which is to our liking. I recommend them.

Bland and flavorless. I ordered the chicken fajita burrito. The only thing tasty was the rice and the side of sour cream I ordered that also cost 1.99. Staff is great, restaurant is clean food no bueno!

Absolutely love Casa Garcia! We've had nothing but amazing experiences here--especially the breakfast, which is always fresh and delicious. Great food, great prices, and great service every time!

I do not recommend. If your use to authentic Mexican food you will not like this place. Food is bland.

The only downfall would be the parking, it's a small strip shared with an Italian cafe-Bella Sera, La Chaparrita meat market/cafe and a few others. Ordering was very easy, and we were even able to see our pizza go into the over and later come out. We came because of a recommendation of a friend, and when the pizza was delivered we were happy about the melty cheese, but turned off by the mushrooms. They look like (and tasted like) canned mushrooms. Ick. That said, the pepperoni and onions were great, and we really liked the thin crust. However, the sauce left a lot to be desired. It really turned me off, but my companion simply said it was weak and didn't seem pizza appropriate. They have large cans of tomato sauce on their racks, so they clearly make their sauce; perhaps this was an off batch. Overall, this was a miss. We won't be back.

Every now and then, I find myself craving the kind of food that feels like home--not just Texas…read morehome, but the borderlands where the flavors of Texas and Mexico have spent generations shaping one another. That's what drew me to Conejos in Leander. After browsing the menu, I could tell this wasn't simply another Tex-Mex restaurant. It embraces the traditions of both sides of the Río Grande while adding a few creative touches of its own. Tucked into a shopping center just off the 183 Toll, Conejos welcomes you with rich colors and décor that proudly celebrates its Mexican roots. I started with the esquites, or Mexican street corn served in a cup. Growing up, I ate plenty of elote from street vendors in Mexico, and while this version comes with the comforts of air conditioning and clean tables, it doesn't sacrifice any of the bold flavors. Sweet corn, creamy sauce, chile, cheese, and lime come together in a way that reminds you why this humble street food has become a favorite on both sides of the border. For my entrée, I ordered the birria quesadilla. Birria has become one of Austin's hottest food trends, but Conejos does it justice. Tender, slow-braised beef is tucked inside a flour tortilla that's griddled until crisp, with cheese caramelized along the outside rather than simply melted within. Served alongside rice and beans, it strikes that familiar balance between traditional Mexican cooking and the hearty Tex-Mex comfort many of us grew up enjoying. Every bite felt both familiar and refreshingly different. The hospitality matched the food. I asked for recommendations, and the staff took the time to explain the menu with genuine enthusiasm instead of rushing me through the line. The owners also operate the neighboring Rabbit Hole bar, carrying the rabbit theme from one business to the next. I'll save that visit for another day, but if the food and hospitality at Conejos are any indication, I already have a good reason to come back.

The restaurant was very busy, and the wait for indoor seating was fairly long, although outdoor seating was available immediately. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I'm a picky eater, but even considering that, the meals lacked flavor and did not feel worth the price. The atmosphere and location were decent, but overall the experience did not justify the wait or the cost. Sadly, this is not a place I would return.
