Had such high hopes for this restuarant. Have been wanting to try it for a while even though it's had such bad reviews-and now I see why! Ordered a quesadilla with chicken, steak, and light cheese. But sadly this isn't what we got. Instead, it was a chicken only quesadilla with a crap ton of cheese. Waited 10 minutes in hopes to flag down the waitress but she disappeared and didn't return to the table until about 20-25 minutes later. We ate the quesadilla (which didn't even taste very good) informed the waitress of the mistake and asked for the bill (this process took another 20 minutes or so). She said it was because her spanish was poor and couldn't write what she needed for the kitchen to make our order correct. She did refill out waters without asking so props for that! (hence two stars instead of one!). When we got the bill, we were charged for extra chicken. Never had a manager come over (should be automatic after Fn up our order). Asked to remove the extra chicken charge - she said she would have to get manager approval. Lol! Anyhow, the food sucks. The service sucks. The other reviews about this place being bad are probably accurate. Guess we'll stick to Lupe's and Chueys. read more

The restaurant is extremely loud, hard to carrying on a conversation. The food was ok, except the Taco Salad was extremely salty, I had to do pour a bunch of salsa on it to make it eatable. My daughter had the Vaquero combo and has had stomach issues since early the morning after we ate there. We ordered a second enchilada for my granddaughter but didn't get it until after we got the check. I don't think we'll be returning. read more

Went for brunch today and seems like they're getting the kinks worked out. Wife and I had the regular migas and the carne guisada migas, and the kid had the pancakes. The food was really good! Wife had the flaca marg and I had the Casa Garcias Marg We're both margarita snobs, and these were both good, like really good! Only reason I gave four stars is because the drinks took 20 minutes to get and they weren't busy at all. All that said, we'll definitely be back! Glad to have them in the neighborhood. read more

Ordered two Casa G's especial meals. When I got home both did not include the taco part of the combo. The first hostess could not find our order the second hostess found it immediately. I came here on Mother's Day the place was empty, right away I was seated and they brought probably the worst chips and salsa I've ever had they reminded me of plain Doritos the salsa was weak. I ordered their enchilada plate and they were the size of three rolled taquitos. Felt like a rip off for a $16 dollar plate. Very disappointed in Casa Garcia. The good, first round of drinks came very tasty. Chimi very good, flaming Queso amazing. Strolling mariachi band fun. the bad, server asked if we wanted water when he took drink order and we said yes please, and server didn't come back with drinks or water. bar runner brought drinks over. finally came back to take order. made a point to confirm type of rice and beans on tiffed avocado, neither came out. order second drink and water again, water came no drink. after the meal server came back asked how everything was and explained we were disappointed, in food and service. asked for the check, some issue with his phone and would be a couple mins. after waiting 20, went to hostess and she got manager. explained problems to him, reviewed the check and found 3 margaritas that weren't ours on the bill. explained, not ours, he took them off, but never offered to do anything about poor service or food. expected more from management to make it right, free appetizer or dessert or take off a drink. nope will be a long time before we go back. read more

This has to be the worst excuse for Mexican food I've ever experienced. Store bought chips, and pre packaged taco shells. The worst. No tortillas with fajitas. I could go on and on but how anybody could think this food is adequate is beyond me. Never again. read more

My wife and I went to try this place out for the first time tonight. To start, they sat us over by the bar and said the bartender would be waiting on us. Chips and salsa did arrive quickly. It took a while for the bartender to come over to our table to take our drink order, she was nice and pleasant. She came back and took our order. I ordered beef fajitas, and my wife ordered a beef and a cheese enchilada. The salsa was ok, not great but not bad. It was good enough I guess as we ran out and no one ever came to check on us for drink or salsa refills. We felt forgotten where we were sitting but finally flagged someone down to get a salsa refill. When our food arrived, I was very underwhelmed by the fajitas, especially the amount for $17.99. Both our meals were just ok, kind of bland, nothing that would bring us back again for more. I could have cooked much better at the house, and there are a couple of other places close by that we believe are so much better to get our Mexican food fix. We tried it, not for us. read more

Unfortunately, we waited around 20 minutes to get drinks and 30 for bar drinks, and the food came out about an hour after that... I wouldn't mind waiting, but the food wasn't that great. I had fajita, and my wife had enchiladas. Maybe it was an off day for them, I'm not sure but I was not impressed. read more

Just ate there tonight. We ordered a Togo. The food was good but the menu price on line did not match what we payed in store by 15 plus dollars. And when my wife went back to the store and showed them.the online price they just said well thats our instore price. Very horrible customer service. Either change the price online or honor the online price. read more
