I dined at Giuseppe's Italian Grill on the occasion of my good friends seventieth birthday. Two of my friends selected the Mahi and the other, chicken parmesan. I chose an everything pizza. The pizza would have been fine, but it must have been done well before the other dishes and it was brought out at room temperature. Even the serving dish was not hot. I took a few bites and then decided to ask the sever if they could heat it up a bit. This should have been the end of it, but the owner was in attendance and decided to express his surprise. He informed me that the pizza is cooked at an oven temperature of five hundred degrees and suggested that it was unlikely that it was not hot. I was sorry that I had said anything at all for fear of ruining the birthday celebration. They did bring the pizza back out and the waitress told me that she could feel the heat. Very well, it was warm but certainly not hot. I decided to finish the slice I had started and to take the rest home. It was actually quite good when it was properly heated. Everyone else seemed happy with their meals but I did not see one bit of steam coming off their plates. I am not going back. read more

Our first time there after reading recommendations from locals and was so thrilled with the experience! They were definitely busy and servers are working hard to deliver optimal service. The food is by far the best I have had in this area and I am very picky with Italian food as I usually make home made. Not very welcoming nor are they friendly. Called ahead to pick up cannoli's, order was not ready when I arrived and had to wait a few minutes at the front desk to even be acknowledged. The four different entrees were just ok. The server was another story. She got 2 of the 4 drink orders confused. The place was busy, she'll get a pass on that. Here's the killer. After waiting a while for the check my buddy and I decided to split the bill and produced our credit cards. We then noticed the service fee to use the credit cards. So we put our credit cards cards away and decided to pay with cash which we both had. This is the moment the hovering waitress suggested one of us pay the entire check with the credit card and reimburse the other with cash! Some nerve! read more

(But they do have craveworthy pasta options if you come here to indulge). Nice little gem in Stuart with a variety of fresh light options. On my visit I had the seafood salad. Very light with an impressive variety of vegetables. They gave me ample amount of seafood: shrimp, mussels, calamari, scallop, and clams. It was all marinated and sitting on top of the salad mix dressed in just oil and vinegar. Everything on the salad tasted very fresh, and I was surprised by the generous amount of seafood. I even had some tomato focaccia to go along with it and it was served fresh and hot. Of course, being a dessert diva, I had to have something sweet, so I finished off my dinner with a cappuccino that they served in an elegant glass mug. Food is always good. Service too. We especially like the lobster special and the baked artichoke starter. I'm also a fan of the combo plate where I can order two different pasta dishes together. We would like to complement the owner for having a great staff. On our last visit my wife dislodged her diamond necklace while removing the lobster bib and it fell to the floor without her noticing. The busgirl turned it in and the next morning the staff couldn't have been more helpful in returning it to me. Its not often you find stuffed artichokes on an Italian menu around here so I was so happy to have found this restaurant. My mother came over from Sicily when she was a child, along side my grandmother and uncle in the mid 1950's. Some of my favorite meals are ones eaten over my grandmothers house- It doesn't get any better than authentic Sicilian cooking. Her stuffed artichokes are in my top three. Knowing how much I love Stuffed artichokes my mom picked some up from this establishment. She was NOT happy that it was $15 for one stuffed artichoke. She pissed and moaned until she tried it. They tasted just like my grandmothers. After one bite she said "never mind-worth every penny". And I agree, it was very good and also very filling. This was my second time eating at this establishment. I will never go back. I ordered escargot, and received six miniature snails, camouflaged in some brown vegetable. .We were a table of four, and one in our group received their dinner, however, the other three waited 15 minutes for our food to arrive. The waiter was a joke, an elderly fellow, who seemed disoriented with his surroundings. I ordered a sea food fried combo, which consisted of conch fritters, coconut shrimp, and calamari. The conch fritters were not cooked thoroughly, and the calamari was uneatable, as it was doused with salt. Stay away from this place. Our entire $70 dinner just landed in the garbage disposal. The spaghetti sauce had a burned aftertaste. The spaghetti was overcooked and the meatball was tough and dry. My husband's eggplant lasagna was mushy and the pasta was all broken into small pieces. I can't believe I was charged $11.95 for Clams Casino. There were 8 miniature clams covered with onions and peppers and they were floating in an oily sauce. Had we physically been in the restaurant, we would have sent our orders back! We have both eaten there in the past and raved to our friends and family about the good food. Server was fine, food was good as usual but we were rushed through our meal. Asking if we were finished with our dishes that were half eaten. Another waitress came to our table to ask us who our server was, not that we asked or were looking for her. Once we told her who our server was, she turned to a floor walking manager, and let him know who it was and before we knew it our server showed up with our check, even though we hadn't asked for it. Located in a strip mall in Stuart, it's beautiful inside and out with frescos adorning the walls inside and Roman columns outside. It's a large restaurant reminiscent of the Italian restaurants where I grew up in North Jersey. We were here for lunch and they delivered a fantastic experience. The service was perfection! The food, also perfection. Pasta Fagoli was superb. The roast beef sandwich was packed with ultra-rare, thinly sliced Boar's head roast beef. Delish! Their hot sandwiches are fantastic; Prime Rib, chicken parmesan and veal parmesan all wonderful and each on a toasted, chewy long roll. I took my mother out for what I thought would be a nice Mother's Day dinner. It was anything but that. When we first arrived I noticed this lady constantly yelling at the staff. She then cornered another waitress and almost pushed her. I later learned her name was Diana or Dianne. My Mom was looking around because she was stunned on how this lady was acting. She then came over to my mom and asked "do you need something?" In a very rude tone And my mom replied with no. Then she says "ok you were just looking like you needed something" then walked away and rolled her eyes. Food is great but they need to get rid of that hostess Diana. I had the chicken saltimbocca, and my wife was in a pizza mood so she got the 9" works pizza. Neither meal was overwhelming. The pasta fagioli tasted like it was from a premade mix or can. Not a bad flavor, just didn't taste like homemade. My main course was rather tender but flavorless. My wife wasn't a fan of the pizza - she said the flavor wasn't that good. The meal started out on the wrong foot. When I checked in on Yelp, a Yelp deal popped up (which is always a nice surprise). The deal was 2 for $20... so I asked the waiter about the details. All he said was: "I don't know what that is, it's probably old", and wouldn't honor it. I wasn't about to get pushy, since you don't really want to mess with the people who prepare and serve your food, but I think they should either take the deal down or honor it. read more

We moved to Stuart in 2013 and the first restaurant we visited was Casa Giuseppe's at Indian and Willoughby. Everywhere we've lived, we have always had our special "little Italian restaurant." This is ours! We typically eat there 3 times a week so multiply that by the years we've lived here and that's a lot of meals for us (and our guests)! We have NEVER had a bad meal and we've tried just about everything on the menu. Last night was the Salmon Florentine for me and spaghetti and meatballs for my husband. Soup of the day was the best clam chowder we've ever had...the whole meal was great and the service is awesome. It has some TVs and a really nice bar but it's not a sports bar. It's just a great neighborhood eatery with a great vibe reminiscent of NYC's best. But don't tell anybody...it's getting too popular! read more

I've eaten here several times for lunch over the last few years. Very good a la vodka sauce, which is normally the only entree I order. The salad is sub Par, with typical Sysco dressing drizzled on bagged lettuce. My main complaint with this place is the service. Dreadfully slow and unsure of themselves. I started out with some soup, lobster bisque which was so flavorful and amazing. What ever soup or salad came in a bowl. Not shy with their servings. My husband grilled octopus. Now I would never eat that but I tried it. Soft and for octopus extremely flavorful. My son had clams casino. Delicious. By the way house bread is served with a hint of garlic ,parsley and olive oil. Even that was delicious. Diner was extraordinary, my husband and I had Supa. Di Peshe. Which if you don't know is made in a red sauce with what ever pasta you wanted with different fishes. Mussels clams calamari shrimp scungeli and mani. DELICIOUS. We had it Fra Di Avala. Which means HOT there is a bar with drinks of your choice too. The desserts were unbelievable. Strawberry tiramisu. Like eating a cloud. Cannoli the best I've had I ended my meal with an espresso martini. Amazing to say the least. We got there at 5:30 left at 8;:15. Was never rushed once. I have been eating here for years. I order a lot of take out from here and the food is always good. But I had to write a review after the service and food I received. We had a family emergency and and my husbands whole family flew in from Jersey really late the night before. Everyone was up really early and in and out of the hospital and hospice all day and I knew they would all be too drained to get dressed and go to a restaurant and it would have taken all day for me to cook for that many people so I decided to have dinner catered. Well, Everyone loved it. The food was delicious and not at all like catered food. There was so much that there was enough for everyone to eat again today. And it really wasn't expensive at all for how many of us there were. The chicken Marsala was amazing and so was the eggplant rolatini. Thank you Joe and Kristen for helping me out with a simple menu to have a little something for everyone! Your recommendation for adding the chicken to the pene ala vodka was a great choice. Having JUST come back from Italy in early January, I am hugely critical of Italian food these day and realized you don't get REAL Italian food here in the U.S. I LOVE Spaghetti all Carbonara and I have to say that this is pretty close to what you will get in Italy. I think they do it slightly differently; but it's pretty close. The cappucino at this place is SO good; chocolate rimmed mug. The waiters are awesome. The Blackened Chicken Ceaser is delicious and great for lunch or dinner. The Chicken Parmesan is my favorite dish. I love the garlic that comes with the bread, it's amazing.
