We enjoyed our meal the other night. Our server was very nice and attentive. We started with the croquettes and the Serrano ham was our winner. Very creamy interior with great crisp exterior. We both went with the Vaca Frita. The flavor was good but adding their house made hot sauce took it up a notch. That hot sauce is not for the faint of heart but us two heat lovers enjoyed. We finished with the cream brulee type dish. It was more pudding like consistency but tasty with a hint of spice like cardamom.

Recently, I was in Jacksonville for work and I did a splatter paint night at the art place in the same strip. I saw this place specialized in paella and knew I had to check it out. I try to eat vegetarian, but do enjoy seafood from time to time. Which this place definitely hit the paella fix! My coworkers and I went here on a Thursday evening and were one of two tables for dinner service. Really shocked to see this place not busier for a dinner service, but perhaps a rainy evening contributed to it. The service was a little slow, but friendly. Loved being able to enjoy tapas then entrees with a wonderful bottle of Tempranillo; not always easy to find a good Tempranillo when dining out. Definitely return here if in Jacksonville again. The paella and patatas bravas were standout & a must try if you dine here!

Saw this spot after work off Highway 1 near JTB and decided to give them a try. It is fusion of authentic Cuban and Spanish meals. For starters, we had the Pan de Jamón in 3 pieces. It was very good. For the main plates, the Spanish Paella was the obvious choice and Ajo de Pollo (Garlic Chicken) with red rice and the fixings. They were both muy delicioso, flavor and sessoning was on point and we finished everything on our plates. The venue has enough space to seat over 30 guests in a pretty relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Melanie for the awesome servicio during the evening. We have to come back for lunch someday :) Gracias Casa Iberica!

We came here based on all of the five star Yelp reviews. There's only a couple of parking spots out front, but the door entry is on the side and there's plenty of parking in the back. It's a regular square building with cafeteria like tables inside. As soon as we were set, the waitress came out to us, and we asked her opinion on a few things as well as what was in certain dishes. She was super friendly and nice and quick We were going to go with a paella, but we weren't that hungry. So we started with the cod croquettes which were delicious. They were kind of a creamy inside and crispy outside. We then got the Cuban piccata because it looked like it had a nice assortment of items. The fried cheese and the fried potatoes were tasteless. The pork in the dish was kind of chewy and not that much flavor as well. I don't care for chorizo, but my husband said that was very good. The rice and beans were very good, but I feel they were the same as any other place that I've gotten black beans and rice from. Next time we go, I would like to try either the Cuban or the hamburger as well as the paella since that's what all of the good reviews seem to be on

We decided to try something new. Casa Iberica is a Spanish fusion restaurant located on Philips Highway close to the J Turner Butler blvd. It's a casual dining experience with a lot of natural light and plentiful parking with an accessible parking lot. We did not have reservations and were seated within 2 minutes. One of the chefs was working the front as his waiter was unfortunately out for the day but he was prompt and attentive. We decided to try the croquettes and empanadas followed by Chicken Fricassee and Chicken Skewers in mushroom sauce. I didn't sample their sangria but will try to do it next tine. We spoke with chef Odie who expertly handled the house . We learned he worked in a Michelin restaurant in New York. The food tasted great giving comfort like home made delicacies/

A Gem This restaurant creates a perfect blend of flavors from Spain and Cuba! Chef Odiley Torres did an amazing job at mixing these flavors. I highly recommend this spot! Besides the amazing food and wine list, I love that they also have yummy mocktails. Here's what we enjoyed during our visit: * Ham Croquettes 9/10 * Paella de Mariscos (Seafood Paella) 10/10 * Patatas Bravas (Spanish potatoes with Spicy Brava sauce and Roasted garlic aioli) 8/10 * Spanish Style meatballs 9/10 * Chicken skewers with a mushroom sauce 100/10 We are looking forward to our next visit. We need to try a few more dishes, the sangria and dessert.

In town on a work trip and decided to try this cute spot for takeout. The vibe looks perfect for enjoying with friends or family. I ordered the Cuban picadillo with morros (congrís) and sweet plantains (maduros)--everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful. I also tried the ham croquetas, which were absolutely delicious.

Loved stumbling across this little spot that IG put me on. So cute an inviting, you'd never know it was there. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our waitress made some great suggestions and was attentive the entire way through. The habanero plate was amazing. Our sampler app was so so. Pork was a little dry, but the queso and chorizo were full of flavor. The camarones were cooked perfectly and you can never go wrong with yucca fritas. Would love to come back and try more dishes.

A taste of Spain with a Cuban twist! Casa Iberica is the perfect spot to indulge in authentic Spanish and Cuban cuisine, making it an excellent choice for a Valentine's Day celebration or any special occasion. This gem, led by the talented Chef Odiley Torres, brings the vibrant flavors of Spain to life with traditional ingredients, masterful spices, and a touch of culinary artistry. With a spacious dining area that accommodates over 80 guests and plans for a bakery and herb garden on the horizon, Casa Iberica is a must-visit destination for food lovers. Don't miss their Valentine's Day special--a perfectly cooked salmon with orange sauce, served with creamy mashed potatoes, tender asparagus, a bottle of wine, and dessert. It's the ultimate romantic dinner! Here's what we enjoyed during our visit: Appetizers: * Spicy Potatoes: Crispy, flavorful, and packed with a subtle kick. * Cod Croquettes: Perfectly fried with a creamy, savory center. * Yuca Frita: Golden and crispy, served with fresh garlic for a burst of flavor. Main Courses: * Salmon with Orange Sauce: A Valentine's special that didn't disappoint. The salmon was flaky and tender, complemented by the sweet and tangy orange sauce. * Paella de Mariscos (Seafood Paella): A beautifully presented dish filled with fresh seafood and vibrant saffron rice. * Camarón al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp): Succulent shrimp in a rich, garlicky sauce that was absolutely addictive. Desserts & Drinks: * Cuban Coffee: Bold and rich--an excellent pick-me-up. * Crema Catalana: A silky cream brûlée with a perfectly caramelized top. * Flan: Smooth, creamy, and a perfect sweet ending. Located at 7035 Philips Hwy Suite 3, Jacksonville, FL 32216, Casa Iberica offers not just incredible food but an unforgettable dining experience. Make sure to check it out--you'll feel like you're savoring the flavors of Spain all over again. Follow them at @casaiberica_fusionrestaurant for updates and specials! Plenty of parking is available and warm friendly service will make the dining experience wonderful.

Ate here while my brother was visiting from out of town. Wasn't sure what to expect. I was born in Madrid and have been to many restaurants that claim to have Spanish cuisine. I saw croquetas on the menu and knew I had to order. I've been disappointed in other restaurants' croquetas in the US. Well, the ones here were fantastic. As was the tortilla and Paella. Will definitely come back.

Our first time here and we will definitely be back! We made a reservation but it was not needed. My husband and I both started with the Sangria. Not the best we've ever had but very tasty and large for the price of $9. I had the Picadillo with sides of black beans and plantains. All were super flavorful and portion size was perfect. I was able to finish it all. My husband had the paella with extra seafood. His only critique was the rice could have had more flavor. He enjoyed his meal and brought leftovers home. Our server was very attentive. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Can't wait to return and try other food offerings

QR code menus provide pics of the food along with prices. You order on a sheet in what I would describe as sushi style. Pretty simple concept. We started with edamame which came out fast. Chicken karaage followed close behind and I felt it was well executed. We asked for some sweet and sour sauce as none was served with the chicken. I found that kind of odd as I've had it served with a ponzu or spicy mayo other times at other establishments. The Mongolian beef was very good but my only complaint was the portion of beef in the dish. It's been like 100° lately so we weren't in the mood for soup dumplings. We'll have to come back when the weather is a little cooler. Overall a good experience.

When visiting Jacksonville for work, I was on the lookout for great restaurants around St Johns…read moreTown Center as my hotel and the work office was in the vicinity. Reservations can be made via OpenTable, and I saw this suggested on Yelp so I decided to try one evening. Upon arriving, I marveled at the beauty of the interior design of the bottom floor that also serves as a gallery. I ascended the staircase as the restaurant is on the third floor. I dined alone as this trip I didn't have a coworker with me, but I still was seated in a cozy corner to take it all in. Isaac, my waiter, was incredibly friendly, and ensured I had everything I needed. What I Ordered: - Caesar Salad: This salad is as pretty good, but at a price point of $19, I would likely skip if dining here again. Though, it did have the perfect hint of lemon for acidity and the croutons tasted house-made. Perhaps if you added a protein, this could become your main dish and elevate it. - Lobster Roll: $36 for a lobster roll?! I was intrigued as this was noted as a signature dish and a standout for what this location is known for... and boy was I IMPRESSED! The roll was perfectly toasted, and the lobster to roll ratio was absolute perfection. The flavor of the lobster was juicy and tasted fresh. This roll was so good that even the neighboring table as they left asked how I enjoyed it. They were recognized by staff, so I believe they are regulars. We all discussed how delicious it was and I shared my thoughts on the execution of lobster to bread ratio. I dined here a couple weeks ago, and I'm still thinking about where in Arizona I'll ever find a roll as decadent. - Cappuccino: a mark of a truly well-crafted cappuccino is the sugar test. Will the foam withstand the weight of sugar or will it sink to the bottom (poorly frothed)? I had ordered and didn't realize they would put a design on top! Visually stunning, and happy to report they make a beautiful cappuccino with delightful foam. Added pictures to showcase the design they added, and the sugar test. The rooftop has stunning views, and the food is a work of art as well. Though I had a lighter dinner with a salad + lobster roll, I was impressed with the meal and would return to try more of the menu if I visit for business or personal reasons in the future. This area has lots of restaurants, but this one definitely leaves an impression and draws this foodie back in to return. Check it out if you are in the area!

This is a great option for a (spendy) girls' night out…read more I came here with a bunch of work colleagues for dinner. The setting is lovely, especially if you are here during the sunset. Service was attentive and gracious. I started with a rose spritz, the avocado carpaccio, and the half roast chicken. The spritz was a delight. Not too sweet, very refreshing. The carpaccio was amazing with the smoked salt, and the briny caviar. My friend ordered the chips and dip, and heaven on earth is combining the two appetizers (a chip topped with avocado and then a dollop of creme fraiche/caviar). The chicken was okay. I should have gone with something else, but I panic-ordered. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't remarkable. I should have gone with a fancy salad or the lobster roll. My second drink, a glass of rose, was okay but wasn't served ice cold, a disappointment. I shared a chocolate chip cookie at the end of the meal, and it was absolutely delicious. I'd happily return with that crew of ladies, and I'd happily recommend this place for a date night.
